Problems downloading VISS on more than one computer

I am having difficulty downloading and installing Verizon Internet Security Suite .
We ordered the package that can be installed on up to 3 Home Computers
I received email to for the download and I downloaded it on my Primary Computer.
Then I read insturctions for 2nd computer and it said to sign into my verizon account
and then go to manage my Verizon Broadband Essentials & Extras and that
I would be able to use that Link to download and install VISS on 2nd Home Computer.
Each time (I tried lots of times) that I do that, it NEVER LOADS!   Or an Error message
says: We have detected that you are not using a Supported Browser like Internet Explorer
or Foxfire.   Iam in fact using Foxfire--I tried Internet Explorer also and its always
the exact same thing-It will not Download or install. The only thing sometimes
the verizon--Service Point will show up--but little , Dial thing, that says its loading
Never Loads at all.
Can anyone Help me--I keep trying to do this, with No Luck !
Thanks, KatLu.....

  • Can you download CC onto more than one computer?

I currently have a Mac Book and will be purchasing a PC soon and I want to use it on both of my computers.
I am purchasing CC for a class I'm taking but I would also like to use it for personal projects. I just want to know how many time I can download/install CC and how many different computers I can download/install them onto.

You may download and install the products as many times as you like, You will be able to activate the products on two computers. If you wish to use on different computer then you may sign out from one computer and sign in to new one.

  • Can u download itunes onto more than one computer and then download music??

I have downloaded itunes onto another computer and it won't let me update my ipod, just keeps asking me if I want to replace the songs on my ipod with the songs from this library. Which I don't want to do, I instead want to add more songs and maybe remove some stuff on my ipod!!!!

  • Can i download Mavericks on more than one computer?

I have two MacBook Pro's and would like to upgrade both to Mavericks with the same Apple ID.
    Can I? Can I? Can I?
    TNX!

    Yes.
If you have an external drive you can copy the installer to it before you install the 1st one. After you install Mavericks it gets blown away and it is another 5GB download.

  • Can you download music from more than one computer?

My sister and I both have ipod minis and is there a way for me to download some of her music from her to computer to my ipod mini as well as from my own?

Set the iPod mini to manage music manually, and you can then transfer music to it from multiple computers.

  • Can I download Lion onto more than one computer?

I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro.  If I purchase a Lion upgrade and download it via the internet to my iMac do I have to purchase a second download for my MacBook Pro??  Or, would I be better off buying a Lion CD and using it to upgrade both of my computers to Lion??

Nope. All you have to do is make a bootable Lion instal disc/drive. You just need a Flask Drive. Here's the link I used to do it.

  • More Than One Computer Trying to Access Web = Very Slow Download Speeds?

We have Verizon DSL with a basic Westell modem, which supposedly is only a modem with no router capabilities. We have an Airport Extreme Snow Base Station that acts as a WDS Main, with one other AEB Snow as a WDS Remote. All computers have unique ip addresses in the 10.0.1.X range as provided by the WDS Main's DHCP.
When only one computer connects to the internet to download web pages, software updates, etc., there seems to be no problem at all. When I do a speed check I get results that seem to be in the correct range, and it doesn't matter which computer I use for the test.
However, if we try to access the internet with more than one computer at the same time, everything slows to a crawl. Such as, if one computer is downloading software updates, the other CPUs have super slow web page downloads, slow to the point of connection time-outs at times. Or if two of the computers are simply trying to download web pages at the same time, one or the other has super slow downloads.
I feel like there is some kind of routing problem with the Base Station but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.
What could the problem be? Where could it originate, and what, if any, advice could someone give me to help trace the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

... the one computer I am looking at right now shows DNS servers as 10.0.1.1, which is the internal ip address of the AEB. Could this be part of the problem?
That is normal and shouldn't cause a problem. Essentially it tells the computer to ask the snow AirPort base station (ABS) for DNS information. The ABS will then provide the DNS information which it currently received from the ISP.
Would it help if I manually entered the DNS numbers that appear on the AEB on each machine's Network Preferences?
Probably not. A busy DNS server or faulty DNS info won't affect download speeds. That only affects browsing since that requires the computer to convert human readable addresses to numbers that the computer can use.
Remember that the snow ABS only operates at 802.11b (11 Mbps) speeds. Then when you use WDS it cuts your available wireless bandwidth in half.

  • Can't use the iPod on more than one computer!!!!!!!

Ok, This has got me so frustrated! We got an iPod and installed iTunes. We thought we had it figured out - we purchased music from iTunes, played it on the iPod and everything was great. Then plugged the iPod into my other computer to listen to our music and it won't freakin' play! says the computer is "Not Authorized" and suggests that by 'authorizing' the 2nd computer, it will overwrite the songs that are already on the iPod. This is NOT desirable. We've downloaded and installed iTunes onto the 2nd computer and used the same login account that we used on the first computer.
What gives!?!?! I thought this was supposed to be easy, but it's not! I was hoping for a quick and simple "plug it in and start listening to music." This is definately not quick and simple. Albeit, I'm new to this iPod craze, but this shouldn't be so difficult. I've poked around on the website and cannot seem to find an answer to this.
    HELP!!!!
    Thanks
oh btw, Is anyone else getting annoyed by Apple's rediculous attempt at monopolizing this market by forcing us to use thier own proprietary software?!?!

First of all, any computer that plays purchased content must be authorized. This can be accomplished by opening iTunes, then store>authorize computer. If you wish to use your iPod on more than one computer & not have your iPod content erased, you will have to have your iPod preferences set on "manually manage". See the following link.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61675
Also, it's not only Apple that uses proprietary software. How about Zune players, & several others?

  • Can I use my lightroom 5 CD on more than one computer? Toshiba to my new Mac Book Pro?

I have Lightroom 5 CD that I've used for 2 years in my Toshiba laptop. I have a new Mac Book Pro and was wondering if I purchase an external CD for it, can I use my software on my new computer. I wasn't sure if it can be used on more than one computer...It doesn't say on the software box.
    Thank you so much!

There are normally three options: License, buy or try. See image below.
Did you double click on the package in downloads to start the installation?

I use more than one computer to access my four business email accounts. When one computer is on (and mail is open) emails do not get through to the other computers. This is fine, but how do I make one of the other computers the dominant one?

I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
    Or get/setup IMAP accounts.

  • How can I synchronize safely from more than one computer?

First, I have set up my iPod to work with two computers: my primary computer, which is my desktop at home. Later, I also "authorized" my laptop (as a secondary source) to also be able sync to my iPod.
My question is that when I go to synchronize some podcasts I just downloaded to my secondary computer (my laptop), I get the following prompt: "Are you sure you want to sync podcasts? All existing podcsts on the iPod '<my iPod's name>' will be replaced with podcasts from your iTunes library."
From this message, since my iPod is plugged into my laptop, I assume it's referring to my iTunes library on my laptop (which only has the few podcasts I just downloaded). And it sounds like it's going to delete the podcasts that are already on my iPod.
I definitely don't want it to "replace" the ones I already have sync'd from my home computer; +_I just want to add the ones I have downloaded to my laptop._+ How can I make it so I can safely add the new ones without disturbing those I already have sync'd and want to keep? I'm a bit confused about how syncing works when you have more than one computer to sync to the iPod.

You cannot do what you want.
The ipod touch can sync with ONE computer/library at a time.
When you sync to a different computer/library, the ipod touch will first delete the current itunes content form the iphone, then it will sync the content from the new computer.
This is the way it is designed.
