Problems during material replication from SRM 5.0 to ECC 6.0

Hello all,
I tried to replicate material master from ECC to SRM but i am not successful.
System can able to replicate all the product categories but not the material.
System showing the process is done and it is showing green light when i drilldown.
Can any one ever had experienced such a problem?

As mentioned in SAP OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete, therefore, Please skip the download of the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 and continue with DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and MATERIAL.
Following OSS note 872533, DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is obsolete.(Though OSS note mention DNL_CUST BASIS3 is obsolete for SRM 5.0, However, this customizing object does help in synchronizing the UOM from R/3 to SRM.)
However, it seems to still work in SRM50...

As an alternative :
For ISO codes synchronisation, you can go to transaction CUNI -> ISO and then select "utilities" -> "adjustment".
A pop-up will be displayed to select the backend code

I am having a problem on Material replication from R/3 to EBP. I had configured all the required settings in EBP as well as in R/3. Whenever we are starting initial loading R3AS I am getting outbound queues in EBP instead of R/3. I am getting the error like 'The current application triggered a termination'. I could able to replicate Vendor and Locations from R/3 to EBP. If anybody can solve this problem.

I did the following Steps to replicate PO Attachments from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0 in Extended Classic Scenario as per OSS Note 1057932:
Step 1: I activated BAdI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK~Fill_PO_INTERFACE in SRM System and added the following Code
CV_ATTACH_TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'
CV_ATTACH_BE_STORAGE_CAT = 'DMS_C1_ST'
CV_ATTACH_BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.
Step 2: I created Doc Type SRM in ECC5.o with the help of DC10 Tr Code.
Step 3: I maintained Data Carrier Type PC entry with the help of DC20 Tr Code in ECC 5.0 and default ebtries for Front End Computer Details. (I crsoss checked Storage Category DMS_C1_ST in ECC5.0, it is available).
Step 4: I maintained all the details (document Types) for PC Carrier Type with the help of DC30 as per OSS Note.
Then I tested the PO attachment replication scenario. I could not find the attachment in ECC5.0 in PO (ECC5.) which available in SRM PO (SRM 4.0)
Kindly guide me or suggest me is there any additional settings required to transfer PO attachment from SRM to ECC5.0

PO Header Text Replication from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0

Hi All,
I am trying to replicate PO Header Text from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0 with Extended Classic Scenario.
Process of PO Header Text Entering in SRM PO:
1. We create PO from Sourcing.
2. We go to Processing POs and then we enter under Header Data -> Documents -> Internal note.
I added code in BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI (method: BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI) related to header text mapping. I think this BAdI will not be triggered while processing PO from SRM.
Please let me know the procedure or sugeestions to replicate header text from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0.

Internal note can be passed to R/3 PO. It is standard. check it up.
Internal note must copy to another follow on document but why it is not copying in to your backend PO.
You can try oss notes .. I will update you if i find any notes

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

Hi,
 When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
 We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.
 SRM 4.0
 Support pack level : 11
 BADI Name: PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2
 Method Name: MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL
 Conditions Populated in structure : COMT_PROD_SERVICE_BDOC- CONDITIONS-CND_BBP_WORKING_SET.

Do you use IPC for pricing? I am not sure whether you can use R/3 4.6C with SRM5.5. Check your systems. Refer SAP notes 539720 if you are using simplified pricing (Classic scenario).
Also check for SAP OSS Notes - 394975 and 420343
Update of price in srm is possible through the SAP OSS Note 420343. This note describes an option to transfer a price from the Backend via a report and a BADI and to store this price in the condition table of the corresponding product in the EBP. But you have to do small changes,i think this note will certainly helps you to transfer material master prices to srm product master automatically.

XI Integration scenario for material replication from SRM to SRM-MDM

Hi Guys,
We are working with the following landscape:
SRM Server 5.5
ECC 6.0
SRM-MDM 5.5 SP6
PI 2005_1_700 SP0006
I have a question for you about replication of the material master form SRM EBP to SRM-MDM.
In XI we are trying to configure this scenario. For this we have imported the following XI Content:
- SAP SRM Server 5.5
- SAP SRM-MDM 2.0
We have the following problem; that when tring to configure the this scenario we are getting GUID errors. Probable because some XI content is missing. In the SRM-MDM 2.0 XI content we also see that SRM 6.0 scenario's are avilable in the currenlty imported XI content, but when clicking on 'Edit action' in these scenario's we are getting the following error:
"Software component version with GUID XXXXXXXXXX... does not exists"
Can any one tell me why SRM 6.0 scenario's are availble in the XI content for SRM-MDM 2.0, and which additional XI content we need to import to get rid of these GUID error's?
Becasue of this the configuration in the Integration Directory fails.Transfering the integration scenario to the Integration directory gives a couple of errors: "Unable to load action. Check whether all necessary actions have been released in the integration repository".
Hopefully some of you know what to do, because I am currenlty stuck....... Do we need to import additional XI content, or maybe the Xi content for SRM 6.0. If so where can I get the XI content for SRM 6.0. It is not available on the SAP Support portal as a download.

If u define your condition type is manual and if you do any changes in quantity of order in change mode then manual condition will not be determined automatically. Again u have to enter it manually and then save it in change mode itself..

Transfer of Pricing Conditions from SRM 5.0 to ECC (Extended Classic)

I am currently doing an enhancement on a copy of function module B46B_DPO_TRANSFER and the implementation of BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE BAdI that will call the copied FM to transfer the pricing conditions from SRM 5.0 to ECC since in standard only net price is being transferred to ECC.
During the creation of PO, everything is ok. All conditions are transferred to ECC.
But we are encountering problems in the replication from SRM to ECC when changes are done in the PO during deleting or inserting a condition to an item. Our problem is in figuring out what will trigger us to use Change types U, I, E, D in populating the CHANGE_ID field in POCOND table that will be used in BBP_PO_INBOUND function module.
During creation of PO, I have set POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'I' on all conditions to be transferred.
When there are modifications on a PO, I have set POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'U' and I am encountering problem when new conditions are inserted to an item since it will not be displayed (which I believe in this case, POCOND-CHANGE_ID should be 'I'), and when deleting a condition to an item.
I would like to ask, if there is an indicator that a condition will be inserted to an item for us to assign POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'I', and for us to assign POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'D' when a condition will be deleted.
By the way, I used FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL (exporting: E_PRIDOC) to get the PO conditions to be transferred and have checked E_PRIDOC-DEL_IND to check if a condition will be deleted. Unfortunately, it is not working on the deletion since it seems that DEL_IND field is not being populated if a condition will be deleted.

Material Replication from ERP to MDM (SRM-MDM Catalog)

Hi Experts,
I would like to replicate the material master from the ERP system into the MDM (SRM-MDM Catalog)?
I don't want to replicate the materials from ERP to SRM, and then from SRM to MDM.
1. Does ERP provide any transactions to achieve this ( like MECCM / MDM_CLNT_EXTR) ?
2. Is there a necessity to use the PI system in these communications? If so, what Integration Scenario I need to use in PI Enterprise Repository?
3. Any further changes to Materials in the ERP system should automatically replicate into the MDM system.
From SRM, I create SC with items from Materials in MDM.
Please let me know if you require more information.

In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.

Problem during hierarchy load from ECC 6.0 to BW

Once I go into ERP and look at the IDocs I get the following message:
Idoc Error 26:
EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (segment cannot be identified)
Message no. E0078
Diagnosis
The segment E1RSSH does not occur at the current level of the basic type (extension ).
This error can have several reasons:
The segment E1RSSH is assigned to a group whose header segment does not occur.
The segment E1RSSH does not exist in the syntax description of the basic type (extension ).
The sequence of segments in the group in which the segment appears is incorrect.
Previous errors ('mandatory' segment or group missing) may be due to this error.
Procedure
Please check the IDoc or the syntax description of the basic type (extension ).
Can anyone help?

The most basic setting in a BW system is its connectivity with the R/3 system (which is a basis team activity, but BI consultant can always help).
Issue: While creating source system, I am getting an error "Segment E1RSSH does not exist".
Diagnosis
Segment E1RSSH is in the syntax description, but it does not exist.
The issue was that some of the entries in the table EDISEGMENT were missing.
As this a standard table, it is recommended to restore the table from Backup or from another BI system. (Please ask your basis team to do it.)
Now, the significance of the segments: We all know that we require 3 message types in total to communicate with R/3 system. RSRQST, RSSEND and RSINFO.
Now each of the message types has some segments which help in communication.
You can see this segment types in the t-code we30. Just enter the basic idoc type and click on display.
This error is not a common error, but can be useful if at any stage of implementation or support, the table gets disturbed and you have issues with source system connectivity.

Issue with Contract Replication from SRM to MDM - XML structure

We are having an issue with trnsfering a contract to MDM. We have released the contract for update to MDM in the contract through the distribute to catalog option. An XML is generated in SRM that gets sucessfully passed to PI through Catalogupdatenotification_out. In PI the XML fails in the Interface Determination step. the issue that has been noticed is that the XML that is generated in SRM does not contain product category or product ID which is basically what the condition mapping in PI checks for. The conditions in PI were setup as per SAP.
But now the XML fails in PI because it does not find a combination for Catalog type code = 03 and product category. Please find the XML structure in SRM and you will see that it does not have a product category even though the contract has one.

IDOC problem during goods confirmation in SRM

Hi guys,
I am facing some problem during goods confirmation in SRM.I am getting an error relate to IDOCs.i have setup the desired message and partner ID for goods confirmation in SRm but the IDOC gets stuck with the code 30 and the idicator is yellow.But when i manually reproces trhe IDOC after that it works fine.I dont want to process it manually.Can anyone help me out with the possible source of problem.

You do not need any Badi in ECC to distribute central contract to your backend system.
if your ECC system is on ECC 6.0 enpk 4.0 or more,
you can directly distribute your central contract from SRM to ECC system using standard ESOA services.

Material replication from ECC to SRM

Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?

Have you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.

Material replication from R/3 to SRM - Issue with Material group

Hello All,
                  I am working on BADI PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2 and method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIALMaterial replication part from R/3 to SRM.
I am using a Ztable to map r/3 material group to SRM material group(Product category).
For example Material M1 with material group 100 is transferred to SRM. Material group(Product category) 100 exist in SRM, but I am changing the material group to 200 in the product_customer2 badi. its working fine.
In another scenario, Material with material M1 with material group 300. Material group(product category) 300 does not exist in SRM,
I am changing the material group to 200 in the bdoc, in the product_customer2 badi. It is not working. The LUW is failing in SMQ2 transaction with the error "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)". The BDOC is failing with error "Category for material group 300 does not exist"
I tried to deactivate the badi PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2, even then the FM MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS is validating the material group from R/3.
I tried to change the material group 300 to the existing material group 200 at initial stage in debugging in function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS but still the bdoc is failing with error "No storage form defined for product type 01 / logical system".
I am doing my testing using the following steps.
1. change the material descriptioni in MM02 in R/3.
2. An item is displayed in the queue in SMQ2 in SRM.
3. I have debugged the LUW and analyzed my badi by setting breakpoint at method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL, its changing the material group in the bdoc properly.
   that didnt work.
   also i tried to change the material group in the function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS before the badi is called.
4. I am checking the BDOc status using tcode SMW01 and checking the material using tcode COMMPR01.
can someone tell me how I can change the R/3 material group to SRM material group at the time of mapping in SRM?

Steps to create the product category in SRM:
1) Create MM material groups in ECC client. This will create a transport. Go to SRM Tcode R3AS and select the object u201CDNL_CUST_PROD1u201D from the list and run it. You can monitor the job using R3AM1 in SRM. This will bring the material group into SRM. This can be seen in TCode u201CCOMM_HIERARCHYu201D in SRM.
2) Once it is done. Go to IMG in SRM and go to path SRM> SRM server> Cross app biz settings> Account aassigmnet> Define GL code for Acc *** Cat and Prod Cat. Maintain the GL code against this prod cat for all the account assignment codes. This is client specific setting and need to be done in every client by opening it. This GL code is given in the form in ticket.
3) Do a test and check if the product category is available for procurement in SC.
