Problems importing. error code 50 and 48

I recently put all my music onto a 1TB LaCie hard drive connected to my network by ethernet. After being away for a few days there had been some sort of power outage and after a bit of trouble hooking up the hard drive again I found that a lot of the songs I recently imported have disappeared. the title is there but when I click it it says the original cannot be found and I get the ! in a circle.
THis is not too bad as I can go through and replace the ones that have gone but it will not let me import any more CDs. I can import directly onto my imac's hard drive but if I try to do it to the networked haed drive I get the message 'error occured while converting the file "xx" an unknown error occured - 50'
If I try again I then get the same message but with the code 48.
The network hard drive is attached as I can see it on the screen, explore it with Finder and play the vast majority of the music but its as if I can't write to it.
Any comments very gratefully received !

Problem solved - corrupted hard drive.
Luckily I learnt (the hard way) about the importance of back ups a while ago.

Problem Getting Error Code and Description in Alerts

We are having trouble getting the Error code and Error description in the Alerts and we're having trouble getting a alert for message mapping exceptions. I have read through the BLOGs and the help on SAP. I'm not sure it is something to do with the configuration or SP14. We did not have these problems with SP12 at our other customer XI implementations.
Background -
We have setup an "XI Alert" classification with three Alert categories -"XI_Mapping_Error", "XI_Adapter_Error", "XI_Runtime_Error".
For the "XI_Mapping_Error" alert category, we have setup a rule so that any Integration Engine Application Mapping.* Error code will create an alert. However, when we have a mapping error in XI which we can see in MONI, we do not get an alert. The checkbox for "Suppress Multiple Alerts of this Rule" is not selected. I am not sure why we're not getting the alert.
For the "XI_Adapter_Error" alert category, we have setup a rule so that any Adapter Engine * adapter type will create an alert. The alert gets created - however, some of the container variables do not get poulated in the email. We have defined Container variables pointing to the corresponding ABAP data dictionary elements - i have double checked these definitions.
Here is an alert email - the Error Code (SXMS_ERROR_CODE - SXMSERRTX) and Error Category (SXMS_ERROR_CAT - SXMSERRCAT) are not being extracted:

We are not able to figure out why the Alert framework is not working correctly. We are running XI 3.0 SP 14 on Win2K, SQL 2000.
Anyone encounter these problems? Any help would be appreciated.

Jay, This note is specifically for a situation where the 'where did the error occur' set to No Restriction. I don't think anything else is included in this fix .01 to patch 0.9 of SPS 12 of XI 3.0!!!
My problem is that even the messageID variable is not getting replaced!!! In SP12 everything was perfect. After SP14, the errors are coming almost instantaneously to the inbox, but without any variable replacement.

If you are on MAC Open Activity Monitor and check for Creative Cloud, it it Running Quit it

Journal Import Error Codes

Hi All,
I wanted to know where are the error codes stored in the database for the journal import process. For example, after the journal import completes - the execution report has the details and at the end it mentions about all the error codes and the meaning. Where is this informaiton stored. How can we derive the text of the error given a error code. I wanted to know to build a custom report.

My ipod touch is not list as a device on itunes. When I tried do update itunes, I get a ox8007054f error code and the update will not complete.

My iPod Classic 120GB is clicking and not turning on. It has been charged but does not hold charge. I am not able to restore factory settings. Error code and have tried troubleshooting options without success. Thoughts?

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.

I use mozilla firefox as my default search engin. Sounds like you hid the Menu bar. Hit the '''Alt''' key to show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark.

Fly is correct in that Oracle will normally let a query run forever in the absense of a user profile or dbms_resource setting that limits a users (query) resouce usage.
The errors returned for these condition would probably vary but errors ORA-02092 "exceeded session limit on CPU usage, you are being logged off" and ORA-02093 "exceeded call limit on CPU usage" might be of interest.
But for distributed queries Oracle does impose a time limit. See Oracle error ORA-02049 "timeout: distributed transaction waiting for lock"

       - Upgraded RAM from onboard 4 (2 x 2) GB to the "unofficially" possible 16 (2 x 8) GB
Ordered RAM on Amazon.de with the right Specs: 204 pin DDR3 SO-DIMM (1333 MHz, PC3-10600S, CL9),
Manufacturer: CSX (http://www.csx-memory.com , while it's maybe not the most renown seller, it was described on another website as reliable )

- Once I had a System Crash, but it happened when I wanted to reboot after updating the firmware of a hooked on external WD drive to be usable again as time machine backup volume under mavericks (without endangering my data).
The RAM seems to work fine; for example when I was doing a long overdue backup of 77GB on said drive, Activity Monitor showed a RAM Usage of 15,99 GB and nothing crashed. Only the fans were powering at some point but i thought that normal..
- Actually produced two more Crashes when trying to run Apple Hardware Test (AHT), the one on the second disc that originally came with my Computer (probably made for OS 10.6.x    x= 6 or sth., don't remember which version my MBP was shipped with), which leads to

So I'd rather spend my time starting a discussion here with people who don't have to abide by some corporate policy (right?) than having the hassle of repeatedly screwing my Mac open and shut and doing expensive calls with all the companies involved who won't tell me anything more in depth than "we have to send it there, do more tests and you get it back then".
I hope that this thread won't rot in the wastelands of unanswered posts and that maybe all the people who take part in it learn sth. and all the people seeking help in future will find it here.

Error Codes and Now I can't Open my Muse File-HELP!

Hello-
I've been building my site for four weeks now. I keep my muse file and all my photos etc. on an external hard drive. It's all been going well until I try to open my site/Muse file and it says error code 36 and error code 43. It says some data is missing or requried items can't be found. I have no idea what happened. I uploaded my site to the FTP last night. Then I closed down Muse and shut down my Mac. Today when I tried to access my Muse file it's won't open. I am frightened I've lost all my work and my business web site.
Any help or advice would be much appricated!
