Problems in pc-suit for 6270

i've got the following error when i connected the phone via a data cable please help me.
Phone Model : 6270
Error in PC Suit : Nokia 6270 is connected in non compatible mode.
Your phone is in file transfer mode and cannot be used with pc suit. Quit file transfer mode from the phone if u want to use pc suit.
Pc Suit version : 6.70.22
I get only 3 modes when the data cable is connected which is default mode,print mode and data mode. The phone is getting detected in datamode but pc suit says its not compatible mode. Do i have to make any changes in the settings. PLease help me.

If you connect with default mode and check from windows device manager (my computer from desktop - right click with mouse - manage - device manager - check from the list how your phone is visible there, what do you see, any ?-marks or unknown devices ? If yes, hightlight unknown (USB) device, right click - uninstall - boot PC and try connecting the phone in default mode again.
If no success, decribe in detail any error messages etc.
BTW, you can also try to update to a newer PC Suite, 6.80.22 fromwww.nokia.com/pcsuite

Problem Installing Developer Suite on WIndows Vista

Hi! i'm a student of computer science, and i need to install developer suite for a proyect i need to do for one of my classes.
I have a problem installing developer suit on Windows Vista. After i download and unzip both disk, i run the setup from the installer folder and i get an alert that says: "abnormal termination. There's been an internal error. Send the following files to the Oracle Suport Services: Unknown, Unknow, Unknow". I've also tryed with the setup from the main folder and i get the same alert. I don't know what to do, i've tryed setting the compatibility mode to windows XP, runnig as administrator, changing the performance configuration of my computer and nothing. Please help me to install the program!

IMac on Mountain Lion restarting "because of a problem" every 5 minutes for the last 4 days.

My iMac has been restarting "because of a problem" every 5 minutes for the last 4 days. This started only since I updated Mountain Lion OS last Thursday (i didnt update TO mountain lion, i already had it and updated to a version that came up in the mac app store).
Also, it usually restarts while in Sleep mode, and when iPhone 4s (iOS 6) is connected.
Any Help or advise would be appreciated.

White background or Black background suited for long term watching ?

Hello,
I saw many desktop themes with white or light grey background a few years ago, but now, many of them turn into black background with white or blue or cyan or others color of fonts.
As a programmer, I am just curious about the theme: which type is suited for long term use of computer?
I have tried both, and found grey background is easy to read because it is similiar to read on paper, but it looks like a lighting-bulb!; black background with blue font is cool, along with less luminosity, seems free my eyes.
But another problem is the color choosing. With light grey background, it seems any color is right. But with black background, colors should be carefully selected, since some colors are not suit black background at all.
Grayscale is another one. With light grey background, I can easily tune my font in grayscale, like Japanese cartoon paper (I like it very much!), gracifully to distinct keywords. But with black background, it is ugly to use grayscale to distinct keywords.
How about your ideas?

I commented out the external logo calls (since the new logo area fits really nicely with this style), The sections I commented out can probably be removed safely, and I made the textbox post area more readable. Now I love the new webpage layout!
Here's the dark home page style I'm using, also based on Hrwa's archlinx homepage userstyle, but I havent made too many changes there, other than the package search box needed a little tweeking. I havent really checked the other pages, I do know the wiki pages have some issues with this style, if anyone else wants to help out

Hi Sai
Make sure that your ApplicationServer and IntegrationServer connections are working from JDev
Test a very basic project to determine if it is a problem with all projects or just this one
Test the import function by importing the CustomerData.zip file as described in the ESB QuickStart Guide
Make sure there are NO spaces in the path of your JDev project
Make sure that all external service dependancies such as a SOAP WSDL URL in the project are resolved

Force MSRPC Suite for 2012 instead of RDG-RPC Suite for RDG Web?

Like the question says is it possible to force the MSRPC Protocol Suite for a Server running 2012 Remote Desktop Gateway instead of using the new default RDG-RPC Protocol Suite for Remote Desktop Gateway?
I am running into an issue when I am using mod-security and an apache reverse proxy for Remote Desktop Gateway and published apps. The particular issue is the mod security only supports the MSRPC Protocol Suite and the RDG-RPC suite confuses it and you get a RDG_IN_DATA anomaly which it does not know how to handle so it drops the connection.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.

FYI for those out there that might have had this problem. This new mail package does indeed work which is really cool. The only thing that hung me up for a bit was that I was comma delimiting my list of ciphers. You want to just use space delimiting such as:
SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5 SSL_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA SSL_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA
Note that these exact cipher suites may or may not be available to you as they are from an IBM implementation list. If you are using IBM you can go here for full list:

Problems installing Microsoft Office for iMac

I am trying to install the (free) trial version of MS Office Suite for my iMac. Even though I've closed all other programs, I get a warning window saying that the install can't be completed because Safari is open, which it isn't. The installer prohibits me from being able to logoff or shutdown through the Apple menu, I have to do a hard restart. I dragged the download into the trash folder and re-downloaded it and I got the same problem when I tried to install.

You don't use your Apple ID or its password to install anything on your Mac. You use the admin account's name and password.
Use the name and password you last entered when resetting them. The "name" you use is not the short name of the admin account folder.
For example. If you create an admin account of John Smith, the short name given to that account's folder will be johnsmith. So when an app requests an admin name and password to install something, the admin name you enter is John Smith, not johnsmith.

Updating problems wit Nokia Suite 3.2.100

Hi people.
My current firmware on the phone is: 200.21.012, RM-450, Nokia E63-3 (253.05)
Nokia Suite tells me there is an update for this phone but when i get to the stage of: 'Preparing to download'
It says:
Something's gone wrong.
There was a problem with Nokia suite. Please restart the program and try again. If the problem doesn't go away, uinstall Nokia Suite and download the latest version of the app from www.nokia.com/ovisuite. Error code: 12017
Anyway this is the latest version (currently available)
I have uninstalled it throughly removing EVERYTHING containing to word 'Nokia' from the registry.
Yet still i am getting this error.
Have already tried this method too:

I finally have had my e63-3 RM450 product code (0583677 - Three Network Australia) updated from 200.21.012 (253.05) to system 411.21.001 (253.07). This was done at the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne under warranty .
I was unable to upgrade using Nokia Suite 3.2 - even though it identified the correct 411.21.001 update as required. Nokia Suite mis-identified the phone as an RM-437 rather than an RM-450. I supplied the logs to Nokia Suite feedback and noted that I had SIM unlocked the phone from the Three Network. Nokia Suite feedback's response was to accuse me of flashing the phone with a new product code as part of the unlocking process - thus causing Nokia Suite to confuse the RM450 with a RM 437. In response I advised them that the phone had been unlocked using a code supplied by the Network operator Three/Vodafone Australia. I then attended the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne to ensure that the phone carried the product code on the sticker - which it did. I provided the Nokia Care Centre with the email correspondence with Nokia Suite Feedback and the Melbourne team agreed to update the software under warranty.
There are later software updates available for the Nokia e63-3 - but these do not yet have Three/Vodafone Australia authorisation. That is an argument to take up with the Network owner who controls the authorisation of firmware updates for product code 0583677.
I note that the latest Nokia Suite 3.3.86 still misidentifies the phone as an RM437 instead of an RM 450.
On a final note - once updated to 411.21.001 - Skype would no longer automatically install from the website - it simply said Skype was not available for this handset. However, manual installation of Skype 1.5 was possible using the non-touch version for Symbian and works well.
Nokia Suite continues to have a problem with this model of phone.

Problem using PC Suite to connect to internet

Any help would be much appreciated.....I have searched support discussions as well as general web, and no fix is to be found. Here is the issue:
I have connected my new n900 to my PC (WinXP, SP2) via PC Suite. Instructions to connect to the internet (on my PC, using the n900 as a "modem") are to click on "Connect to the Internet" in PC Suite.
When I do this, I receive the message "No modem found!" and "Make sure you have installed Nokia Connectivity Cable driver software". All support articles advise that this particular driver software is already part of the newest versions of PC Suite though. Also, there is no option to "Select a Modem" and the Configure clickthru is not accessible.
I have gone into Device Manager on my PC, and tried to update Driver under "Nokia USB Modem"....it states that the "Drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28." Searching for driver and reinstalling driver produce the message "Windows was unable to install the modem" and then "An error occured during the installation of this device, A service installation in this section INF is invalid".
I have uninstalled all Nokia related software through the Control Panel and reinstalled via download from NokiaUSA.....twice. Keep getting the same errors.
I have deleted all USB root hubs in Device Manager in case there was a resident conflict from my old Nokia n80, with which I used an older version of PC Suite.
I've restarted WinXP after all uninstalls and reinstalls of PC Suite.
Nokia seems to think it should be "plug n' play" to use PC Suite for internet access on my PC, but so far it isn't.......at all!
