Problems in reinstalling OS 6: Requesting Help

Dear All,
I use Bharti Airtel as my service provider & I updated my Pearl 3G 9105 to OS 6 vb using the package aircel released... I followed the procedure by installing the latest desktop software, & os 6 software on my PC , then deleted the vendor.xml file, then successfully.loaded the OS 6 onto my phone using AppLoader.
However I uninstalled the OS6 software on my PC , loaded the OS 5 on my phone using BBSAK 1.7.
When i tried to revert back to OS 6.0 even after following the above procedure, deleting the vendor.xml unistalling the OS5 software on my PC, installing OS6 software, i'm unable to reload OS 6 neither by using Apploader nor BBSAK.
Even after unsintalling all pc software & reinstalling them doesn't seem to help...
Please could someone help me out regarding this?

How do i check if my harddrive is seated properly? Ive only had the computer for about a year and a half now. I take it back and forth from my home to school. If my harddrive is pysically fine, is there any way i can create a volume or disk? When i look at the disk utilities, 4 things came up. One was my hard drive. A sub drive of my harddrive was "untitled." Then there is another drive with a bunch of letters and numbers. The subdrive of that is my install disk. I tried to erase everything and start over, but now only the second pair of drives comes up in the disk utility and nothing shows up when i try to reinstall mac os x.

Problem solved from prior post. Firefox had become blocked somehow by McAfee firewall. Set to full access. Now works perfectly.

If you ever do redownload OS X from the Store, save the package first, you can then use that to boot from and do clean installs locally.

Mountain Lion is out! You can upgrade a Mac right out of the App Store, but some people prefer to make a boot disk. If you’re in that group, rather than making a bootable OS X Mountain Lion installer yourself the old fashioned way, you can do it all in a few clicks with the help of a free app called LionDiskMaker.
After you’ve downloaded the OS X Mountain Lion installer from the Mac App Store, launch LionDiskMaker and it will locate the installer app, extract the disk image, and then make the boot disk. It’s about as simple as it gets.
For burning a boot DVD you will need a 4.7GB or larger blank DVD and a SuperDrive. For USB install drives or SD cards the drive needs at least 8GB of space available. LionDiskMaker formats the drive you point it at, remember that when you are picking a disk to make bootable for the installer.
Get the newest version of LinoDiskMaker free from the developer
Making a boot installer is really helpful if you need to install Mountain Lion on multiple Macs and don’t want to re-download it on each Mac from the App Store, or if you want to perform a clean install. If you don’t need the bootable aspect, you can also just copy the Installer app file from the /Applications/ directory to other Macs and it will work to perform the OS X upgrade too.
LionDiskMaker has been around since Lion but it has recently been updated with Mountain Lion support, heads up to CultOfMac for the reminder

Using a new PC with Windows 7. Upon reinstalling and inputting serial number, prompt appears..."We looked inthe default locations for qualifying products installed on this machine but none found. You may verify upgrade eligibility now by completing fields to the right." Choices given do not include Adobe Illustrator CS4. What next? I appreciate the help.

I have a disc in the same box that says CS3. I thought that was an older version. Should I try installing that disc first? It seems to have a different serial number. Thanks so much for your help. I appreciate it.

It is looking for the qualifying product which entitles you to use the Illustrator CS4 update. Did you have an older version of Illustrator which upgraded from?

Init deletion problem...cannot find request

Hi all,
I have a problem with finding the init request. when i activate my chains it asks me to delete the init request. But I cannot find the init request. I use transaction RSRQ to find the request...it takes me to the monitor and shows me that the request it still running. When i click on the init request it gives me the following message....
Object ZPAK_4TNGT3YJGOGOGC8EP1F61EDL9 does not exist in objekt version A for object type InfoPackage (ISIP)
i want to delete this request. How can i do that?

Hi,
1. First you should think about why process chain is asking to delete the Init request? It could be possible that you are activating and scheduling the process chain at the same time but you didnt change the update type to delta after doing init for one perticular infopackage.
2. If your Init is not complated yet then first you must complete the Init request then schedule the process chain.
Init deletion could cost a big so be sure that you really dont want it.
Last problem "Object ZPAK_4TNGT3YJGOGOGC8EP1F61EDL9 does not exist in objekt version A for object type InfoPackage (ISIP)" - Looks like this infopackage has been deleted from Bw system.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. You don't say what you are doing or trying to do. See #5 below.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

MSVCR is Microsoft Virtual Creator. It's an MS dirivitive of Java.

You must have an Upgrade CD. It's only asking you for the serial number ("key") of the older versiuon you used to upgrade to whatever version you are trying to install.

Any problem with reinstalling updates?

Hi. I have a simple question: Is there any problem with reinstalling the OS X updates, or reinstalling the combo update? That is, I'm running 10.4.7 now. Can I (re)install the the combo update over this already updated OS X? Will this mess anything up? Is it something even worth trying when troubleshooting?
(This is another topic altogether, but FWIW, I'm trying to track down intermittent problems I have logging in, or the system unable to launch apps or shut down.)

Hi deepermotive, Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Yes, you can safely apply the 10.4.7 Combo Updater. It does not matter if you have applied it before. This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing.

no, it's not fixed at all. The problems of searching the online LabVIEW help still persist!
Searching for "snippet" in the LV2009 help results in this:

Searching the exact same word in the LV2011 help gives the expected results:
So I guess the search is still broken for the older LV2009 online help…
