Problems in replicating plants from ERP

Hello Experts,
In the process of setting up SRM 7.0 system, We are running into some problems while replicating plants from ERP.
1. BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM takes a very long time to execute.
2. I can see few plants replicated in BBP_LOCMAP table, but when I search for locations in the org structure, it says no values found.
3. I used the BP number in the BBP_LOCMAP table and searched for business partner details in BP trxn, even there it shows BP number does not exist.
If anyone has encountered similar problems please throw some light in resolving these issues.

Hi Muthu,
The program is going in endless loop because there was some memory dump in ERP. We have resolved the issue and have successful in running the program, but In SLG1 there are errors -
1. Business Partner "0000000x" does not exist
2. Error Changing Location.
Somehow the plant entries are shown in BBPLOCMAP tables with the BP numbers even though system is not generating the business partner numbers.
I am guessing problem might be with the business partner number ranges, but I have checked everything and couldn't find any issue there either.
Did I miss anything else?

thanks for replying.thing is i checked business partner ID numbers in BP transaction.so what i found is 1000001064 is the last business partner no.when i create PERSON in BP transaction it is popping the same error"no internal standard grouping exist"
Regarding No:range for Business Partner ID (not the Business partner NO:range) from where did it pick that no:range.As ther is no matching no:range Business Partner ID

Problems replicating plants from R3

Hi,
I have been struggling with syncronising plants from ECC to SRM.
In ECC i have 3 plants, (0001, 1000, 2000). I have run BBP_LOCATIONS_GET in SE38. 0001 and 1000 transfer fine when viewing the SLG1 report.
Plant 2000 errors with "Location already exists, partner 0000000102 Plant 1000 System: ERQCLNT300 The plant is a duplicate in the same system plant:2.
It seems to be trying to recreate plant 2000 as the same partner as plant 1000.
is my setup wrong in ecc somewhere?!
To create plant 2000 in ecc, I copied plant 1000 and changed the address and company details.
Any help that can be offered wil lbe greatly appreciated.

its ok.
0001, 1000, 2000 - these three plants are available in bbp_locmap TABLE right. no issues
now you have to map them in the organisation structure - Extended attribute --> LOCATIONS

Error with replicating materials from ERP to CRM 7.0

Hi experts!
After dump (No PXA storage space available at the moment) materials are not replicated from ERP to CRM.
In transaction R3AC1 there are no filters for object MATERIAL.
Replication is managed by transactions R3AR2-R3AR4 with parameters MARA-MATNR.
In transaction SMW01 the status of incoming for material BDOC is green.
But in the bottom of status bar there are some messages appears when clicking the buttons u201CShow BDOC message classic datau201D and u201CShow BDOC message extended datau201D correspondingly:
u2022 No classic data for BDoc message ХХХХХХХ found.
u2022 No extended data for BDoc message ХХХХХХХ found.
The table COMM_PRODUCT is empty.
Can anyone help me ?

When replicating customer from ERP, the address is not replicated to CRM.

Hello.
I'm facing the problem which the address data of customers is not replicated to CRM.
I've checked the business object BUPA_MAIN on t-cd SMW01, so I found that the task of addresses is "S" and it doesn't get GUID.
I'm not sure, but I doubt the error is caused by creating a new client in CRM.
In other words, I doubt that the setting of replicating the address data of customer is not active.
Does anyone have the knowledge of this problem?

REPLICATING DATASOURCES FROM ERP

Hi,
I am trying to replicate datasources from the ERP system.However when i select the ERP source system and click to replicate datasources,it prompts to save the datasource 1_CO_PA3001001 as a 3x datasource.(which i did).After the successful replication, it tells me to go to the new datasource and activate it.I went in the datasource section but i cannot seem to find the new datasource.I ever tried the find icon.Could someone guide me on this?

Transaction Codes - RSA5/RSA6 would help you to build your datasource.
Once datasource is created,In BW chose the right source system & then application component & replicate the datasource.

Problem about replicating object from R/3 to CRM!

Dear All:
when i replicate the customizing object from r/3 oltp to the crm system ,in the crm system ,uesing t-code:smq1,i can see the status was 'SYSFALL' in the queue information ,the detail is 'The current application triggered a termination with a short dump',in the r/3 system,i can't find the queue.who can give me a solution,i have set all the Cross-Connectivity about r/3 and crm ,it's ok.
My CRM system version is 5.0

Replicating BPs from ECC to CRM- Error IN SMQ2 as Stop.

Hello Gurus,
I am facing problem in replicating BPs from ECC to CRM. After initial load , when monitoring the In bound Q in transaction SMQ2 it is showing status as Stop.
Kindly let me the possible solution to remove the status.

Hi,
If you double-click on the queue that is in stop status (so, step one when you have your list of queues, double-click on the one that is in error state, this will give you a one-line entry, then double-click this one line again, and it will give you a detailed view of what is held within that queue), it will give you more information and may have a line in it that is causing the error. This tends to give you more info on why it is in stop status (we have had wide, varied and some weird ones in here!) - most of the time you fix it by just deleting that line that has the error associated with it. then you just go back one level to the queue 'header' and click on the unlock queue button and it should process.

Update Plant details from MM to SRM for an already replicated plant

In order to replicate all plants from MM to SRM, we use program - BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_ALL
In order to replicate selected plants from MM to SRM, we use program - BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_SELECTED
In case a plant has already been replicated from MM to SRM, and subsequently the plant address details are changed in MM,
what is the process to reflect the changed plant details in SRM side? Is there a separate program for this?

LOCATIONS reports helpful to bring plant data into SRM as a business partner.
even you do run a report again you maigh get a report that plant BP updated successfully in SLG1 log.
you can test them in develoment box.
but we dont deal with any processing in EBP other than plant number.
Plant address is not a ship to address as in EBP . Ship to address attributes helps for f\delivery address.
i believe no harm in plant ADDRESS data in srm.

How to replicate a customer from ERP to a Person in CRM

I am doing an implementation of CRM 7.0 and have to integrate it with an existing ERP (ECC6) system. I've set up the replication of the Business Partners to replicate two of the Account Groups in ERP to CRM and it is working well. The only problem is that the customers in the ERP system are Organizations and Persons. When the replication takes place, all are created as Organizations (role sold-to Party).
Is there a way to replicate customer data from ERP and have the BP in CRM created with BP Category 1 (Person) in stead of 2 (Organization)?
The customers in the ERP system are not consumers.

I logged an OSS for this problem and SAP replied with the following:
"What you've explained is a standard behavior of the system.
Since CRM and R/3 have different BP data models, all BPs from R/3 are
transferred to CRM be default as Organizations.
An only exception is BPs, which are assigned into account group, which
is mapped into classification "Consumer: persons".
Customers downloaded to CRM will always be interpreted as Business
Partners of the type organisation.
Customers in R/3 are Organisations and are subsequently replicated to
the CRM system of the BP Type - Organisation, therefore the standard
scenario is that customers downloaded from R/3 are replicated as
Business Partners of type Organisation.
If you don't want to use functionality of Consumers, it's also
possible to change the category with a modification by
appending the R/3 outbound processing or the CRM Inbound processing
this would change the organisations to persons, and is possible by
changing the category in the complex structure from 2 to 1 by copying
the organisational data to the personal data, the category change
works only before the creation of Business Partners in CRM, for
existing BPs that have been downloaded, it would be necessary to
delete these BPs using Note 415007 and start the download again after
modifying the User-Exits.
The data sent from R/3 are mapped into a complex structure of type
BUS_EI_MAIN. In CRM table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU you can add an own
function module for event "CRM INBOUND" and a position less than
100000. Here you can you can change the field
C_BP_STRUCT-CENTRAL_DATA-COMMON-DATA-BP_CONTROL-CATEGORY from 2 to 1
depending on other data that is available in this structure.
Additionally you have to map the organisation specific data
C_BP_STRUCT-CENTRAL_DATA-COMMON-DATA-BP_ORGANIZATION into the
person specific data
C_BP_STRUCT-CENTRAL_DATA-COMMON-DATA-BP_PERSON and initialize the
organizational data. Be sure to check the category before doing this,
because the initial download sometimes forces partial processing
in case of errors and tries to reprocess the BPs that don't have errors
So your mapping from organizational data to personal data should be
done only once.
This solution only works if the criteria is available in the structure
BUS_EI_EXTERN. If it is not, you can add an User Exit in R/3 in the
R/3 outbound processing at event DE_BCS2S in the tables TBE24
(definition of product) and TBE34 (definition of your module).
Unfortunately the data are only available as BAPIMTCS structures
and you have to look for a structure
with BAPIMTCS-TABNAME = 'BSC_MAINCE' to change the category.
See module PI_BP_MAIN_TO_BAPIMTCS in order to understand this mapping."
We will do the cutomization and test, but I think this is the only solution.

Replication of bp name field from ERP to CRM

Hi experts,
We have a problem in ERP to CRM master data replication.
We have already connected our ERP (ECC 5.0) system to CRM 7.0.
We have made initial master business partners (bp) data load from ERP to CRM without problems.
All bp fields, including NAME (but000-name_org1) are transfered correct from ERP (KNA1-NAME1) to CRM.
We have a z program in ERP that is used by users to change the customers names (KNA1-name1).
When we use our custom program in ERP to change the kna1-name1 field in ERP, the bp name field is not changes in CRM.
Using XD02 or FD02 in ERP to change the name (kna1-name1) field in ERP the replication of this field to CRM is correct.
KNA1 table is updated correctly in ERP using our custom program .
What does transactions XD02 and FD02 has that make name filed replicated in CRM?

First variant:
You have to retry load business partners by request:
Tcode R3AR4, R3AR2, R3AR3
So, system retrive new data from tables and transfer to CRM.
Second variant:
You have to add to your z-program part, there you fill data in the CRM system also (via RFC).

Business Partner not replicating automatically from ISU system to CRM

Hi All,
        We are working on transferring BP from ERP to CRM. Following are the main ways that we are using for the same :
1) We are creating reference customer with role Sold-to-party in transaction VD03 using internal no range.
2) Then we are creating ISU BP using the internal same number range and giving the above created customer no as reference customer and finally saving it
3) We have maintained the settings in PIDE from R/3 to CRM as :
Sold-to-party     B   ZD02 External Checked
DEBI                B   ZD02 External Checked
We are using BUPA_MAIN as Bdoc.
I get the follwing Bdocs in CRM system :
1) In SMW01 in CRM I am getting the reference customer created in Step 1 as automatically replicated to CRM and in Success state
2) Also I get the Bdoc in Error State for ISU BP created in Step 2. Then if I try to pull the BP it comes in Success state.
My problem is that the BP Bdoc should automatically come in Success state in CRM.
Please help me solve this problem.

We also have the same approach of BP, CA and contract creation. These data, after creation in ISU are replicated to CRM. We had an issue while replicating the Contract. The contracts were not getting replicated if the contracts donu2019t have the Service Provider and external service provider information. We donu2019t require to capture this information at contract. We are now forced to capture have this information at contract level just for the replication purpose. Is it mandatory to have the service provider information in contract for the replication of contract to CRM.

Errors have been reported in Source System during IDoc update:
Once I go into ERP and look at the IDocs I get the following message:
Idoc Error 26:
EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (segment cannot be identified)
Message no. E0078
Diagnosis
The segment E1RSSH does not occur at the current level of the basic type (extension ).
This error can have several reasons:
The segment E1RSSH is assigned to a group whose header segment does not occur.
The segment E1RSSH does not exist in the syntax description of the basic type (extension ).
The sequence of segments in the group in which the segment appears is incorrect.
Previous errors ('mandatory' segment or group missing) may be due to this error.
Procedure
Please check the IDoc or the syntax description of the basic type (extension ).

The most basic setting in a BW system is its connectivity with the R/3 system (which is a basis team activity, but BI consultant can always help).
Issue: While creating source system, I am getting an error "Segment E1RSSH does not exist".
Diagnosis
Segment E1RSSH is in the syntax description, but it does not exist.
The issue was that some of the entries in the table EDISEGMENT were missing.
As this a standard table, it is recommended to restore the table from Backup or from another BI system. (Please ask your basis team to do it.)
Now, the significance of the segments: We all know that we require 3 message types in total to communicate with R/3 system. RSRQST, RSSEND and RSINFO.
Now each of the message types has some segments which help in communication.
You can see this segment types in the t-code we30. Just enter the basic idoc type and click on display.
This error is not a common error, but can be useful if at any stage of implementation or support, the table gets disturbed and you have issues with source system connectivity.

Material Replication from ERP to MDM (SRM-MDM Catalog)

Hi Experts,
I would like to replicate the material master from the ERP system into the MDM (SRM-MDM Catalog)?
I don't want to replicate the materials from ERP to SRM, and then from SRM to MDM.
1. Does ERP provide any transactions to achieve this ( like MECCM / MDM_CLNT_EXTR) ?
2. Is there a necessity to use the PI system in these communications? If so, what Integration Scenario I need to use in PI Enterprise Repository?
3. Any further changes to Materials in the ERP system should automatically replicate into the MDM system.
From SRM, I create SC with items from Materials in MDM.
Please let me know if you require more information.

So we should consider the scenario where SRM is the central repository for the contracts, and all the changes done in SRM should be replicated to ERP.
In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.

Removal of plant from P/R release strategy of another plant

Dear Friends,
In our office there are two plants P068 & P281 both belongs to two separate co codes. In its P/r release strategy in characteristics plants are mentioned so for each plant their should be separate p/r as they are located differently. But unfortunately plant P281 is added in the release strategy of plant P068 though there is a separate release strategy configured for plant P281. So while making P/r of plant P281 release strategy of plant P068 is getting called & the user is not able to release the same because of the restricted authorizations. We have tried to remove the plant P281for which we created the request on DEV server & transported to PRD server but this is not removed. It is still reflecting in P068 P/r release strategy. Kindly advise how we can remove this ? Is their any other alternative way?

You need to remove the plant from classification of release strategy. If system is modifiable, go into release strategy and classification and uncheck the plant, which is not required and save.
OR
If backend is unmodifiable, use this t-code CL20n/CL24n, put in the release code strategy combination and in the classification remove the plant of it and then save and your problem will be solved.
Follow the above steps for adding the plant to new release strategy as well.
