Problems in the installation of Trial Version 71 CE SR3

Hi,
I am trying to install the trial version of NW 71 CE SR3. I donwloaded it from SDN. The target system is a Windows XP Prof SP2 with 2 Gb of RAM. The error I get is in the system requirements check. A swap file of 4096 Mb is required and I do not know why the system only allocats 3946 Mb even I specify 4096 Mb in the control panel. Nevertheless following the documentation for a development system the formula for swap file is 1*RAM = 2048 no 4096!! Why is requiring such a swap file? Any clue to continue with the installation?

thanks..... I was getting another error and I did not realize that the process continued...... the error is that the installation file of maxdb is not found.
Sapinst is trying to find Z:/MAXDB_WINDOWS_I386\SDBINST.EXE
instead of
Z:\MAXDB_WINDOWS_I386\SDBINST.EXE
How can I change that?

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

Can't extract the Photoshop CS4 trial version archive

i downloaded the Photoshop CS4 trial version with the help of the Akamai download manager and now i have some trouble to extract the archive. I tried it with the Adobe extractor, with 7-Zip and Win-Rar, but i always get the message that some files (about ~500 files) are corrupted.
I downloaded the trial version (archive size 857MB) about 4 or 5 times from the Adobe website, but i always have the same problem. I can't extract the archive properly. Does somebody have a solution for my problem? Thanks in advance!

The size I'm seeing for the English/Windows version of the PS CS4 Ext Tryout .7z is: 853,860,607 / 814.3MB which took 20-25 min to download on a 500-1000KB/sec connection at work.
Using Test in WinRAR 3.80 trial says everything is ok.
Some questions that suggest things to try:
Are you on a wired internet connection all the way to your computer?
Are you extracting from your local C: drive?
Are you deleting what is downloaded each time before retrying?
Have you turned off your virus scanner before downloading and/or when trying to extract the files?

You may have a hard drive problem. When I installed Lion, the installer told me that it couldn't complete because the hard drive was failing (or broken, the exact words escape me). Since the HD had been functioning just fine, I took it to the Genius Bar, and found out that yes, the hard drive was slowly dying (bad sectors). I couldn't reboot into Snow Leopard, the installer wouldn't let me and then the drive just wouldn't work at all.
I had to replace my drive and restore from Time Machine. Thankfully, I had Time Machine, and had just done a backup 5 minutes before the crash.

You can't Restore to any iOS other than 7.1.
If the error persists, try on another computer. Still no joy, it is a hardware failure.
