Problems installing again purchased Pages 09

I bought Pages 09 (and Keynote 09) through the apple store in february 2011. Now I need to reinstall it but I cannot find any activation key in my emails or in the apple store. I have the serial number for iWork'06 but it doesn't seem to work neither. The reason for the reinstallation is that I decided to going back from Snow Leopard to Leopard. Can this be the problem? Is there anything I can do. Thank you for your help.

I bought it through iTunes store. I think that it has changed since I used it in february. Nowadays I can find Pages 09 for iOS in the AppStore section of ITunes Stores but no the version I bought for Mac OS X time ago. I probably bought it using the 10.6.6 version of Snow Leopard. This starts to look like I cannot activate it again unless I go back to Snow Leopard
The reason I went back to Leopard is that I am having some problems with my laptop (MacBookPro2,2). The problem is that from time to time the usage of the processor increases close to 100%. The screen and the keyboard, then, get frozen and unresponsive, respectively. The situation is a bit more funny still, because the computer seems to work: I can still hear the radio streaming or I can connect to the computer through ssh. But I cannot interact with it and I am forced to restart it using the power button. I haven't been able to track a single process causing this problem. It is quite an old computer (end 2006) and I thought that Snow Leopard could be too much for it I went back to Leopard to see if it solves the problem. Btw, it seems not completely

I have an error when installing apps on my mac from the apple store. It says "return to the purchase page and try again"... I think it is something to do with the installation process itself. I have tried to clear apple store cache, restarted apple store from debug menu, double checked my apple id account and etc..but doesn't work anyway.

I'm having the same problem and went as far as to delete and reinstall the AppStore and still no dice.

i try to downlod twitter and ccleaner but i can't open the app  ?!?!!!

It can also be an iTunes issue. Many of us, including myself, are not used to the new interface of iTunes 11 and would find ways to downgrade the available iTunes 11 back to iTunes 10.7 in Mac OS Mavericks. The only issue with downgrading (using AppZapper and Pacifist) is that you will not be able to update/install apps from the App Store after rebooting the Mac.
If you happen to have downgraded your iTunes in this method, then uninstall the iTunes 10.7 and reinstall iTunes 11 again - the App Store should resume its download/update function without any issue.
    Hope this helps.

    Hey Hamidpetra!
That message is referring to your past purchases page for the Mac App Store. More information on this can be found here:

  • "Use the purchases page to try again" App store update error in Mavericks

When Mavericks came out, I did a clean install of the OS. The first thing I did upon logging in, was reverting iTunes back to 10.7 before I opened it so it wouldn't update my iTunes library files and make them incompatible with any version lower than 11 (I went backt to 10.7 some time ago).
However, this seems to cause a problem with the App store - specfically updating apps. Whenever I try to update anything, I get this error message:
After going to the purchases page, it then looks like this:
And so after trying to update it from the purchaes page, I still get this error message:
The only work around I have found to work is to update itunes to version 11, update the apps, then downgrade back to 10.7 again. This is a hastle so I'm wondering if there is an easier way. Obviously the app store in Mavericks needs iTunes 11 installed for it to work correctly - so I was thinking, was there a way to trick OSX into thinking that I have iTunes 11 installed when I actually have 10.7? I'm assuming there must be a file somewhere included in the version 11 install that the app store looks for to work with?
    Any advice/help would be appreciated!

    Ok,  time to troubleshoot then.
    Quit the Mac App Store
Run the terminal app in your Utilities folder
Copy & Paste this command exactly and hit return:
    open $TMPDIR../C/
In the Finder window that appears, place the com.apple.appstore folder into the trash.
Restart the Mac App Store and see if things work now.

Crashes the second I purchase on Ebay. When Firefox reopens, it brings me to the purchase page again making me think the transaction did not go through. Later I find out the transaction did go through.

This is all very confusing and frustrating. You recommended that I install the latest updates for:
    1. Shockwave Flash security (but do not tell me the number for the latest update)
    2. Java Plug-In version 1.6.0_07
    3. Flash version 10.0
However, you do not tell me how install these. I also woke up early so I could access your Chat service from 6:00 - 7:00 am Pacific time but it is not available. I have also not been able to find a contact phone number to get my problem resolved. I regularly purchase on ebay and have had this problem for all 3 purchases I made in the last week. I need to purchase several other items in the next few weeks before I leave the country for 2 months. I need to get this problem resolved immediately. If someone can call me, my phone number is 720-***-****.
    Thank you.

  • HT202159 Hi can anyone help? Can't download - Mountain lion now permanently 'paused' in the dock. Purchase page does not have the resume button and I have already signed in & out again... HELP!

    Hi
    Can anyone advise...
Cannot download Mountain Lion after purchasing from Apple online. Mountain Lion icon is now permanently 'paused' in the dock. The Purchase page has the download but no resume button. I have enter the code again but it cannot be redeemed again. I have signed in and out again from the tab at the top of the page.
I have spoken to Apple for two evenings now. Last attempt was to bypass the Mountain Lion and download Mavericks overnight but nothing downloaded.
I have checked the internet connection and all is well.
Any ideas how to progress... I have an appointment to take in to Apple on Monday...

Have you tried to resume the download using Launch Pad?  The icon should be in your Dock.
    If that doesn't help ...
Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, and MacKeeper can prevent apps from downloading
Disable anti virus software if installed
Make sure the firewall is turned off in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall
    Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.

  • How do I resolve a failed download, "Use Purchases Page to download again"..

I'm on the Purchases page and trying to download iBomber Defense. It's not working for over a day. I'm running OS 10.8.2. 86MB of 96MB have already been downloaded.
There is nothing on the Launch Pad or in the Applications folder to delete. When I try again on the Purchases Page as the App Store requires, it starts the download at that 86MB mark and then immediately says the error again. I'm on the Purchases Page when it tells me this error, so it's ticking me off. I have no apparent resolution.
Does anyone know how to resolve an error like this? All of the fixes seems to say to delete the file that was partially downloaded but I can't find it anywhere so I'm lost on that. Any recommendations would be appreciated. It would seem to me be a problem with the App Store downloader as opposed to something the publisher can fix.

    Temporarily disable anti virus software.
Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading successfully.
Open System Prerferences > Security & Privacy > General
Click the lock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password.
Select:  Mac App Store and identified developers
Click the lock icon to prevent further changes.
From the App Store menu bar top of your screen click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
If that doesn't help, try here >  Mac App Store: How to resume interrupted downloads
Keep in mind, for downloading apps from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Downloads tend to time out on slower connections.

  • What is the install button on the purchases page

I bought and installed Lion(10.7.3) in August 2011 but I still see an install button on the purchases page.  Need I go through another installation process?  If not what is the purpose of this button.
    Thank you in advance.

You no longer have a copy of the Lion installer on your Mac because it self deletes after it has been run. That allows you to download it again should you need to use it.

I have found a solution for this issue.
OS X Mavericks failed to download, Use the Purchases page to try again
I was trying to upgrade Mac OS and kept running into this error message when I tried to resume interrupted download. I was able to get around this problem by following steps mentioned below, which were originally posted in this post.
    Quit App Store.
    Open Terminal.
Execute this: defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
    Launch App Store.
At the Menu bar, there should be a "Debug".
Click on that and press "Reset Application"
    Restart App Store.

You are doing all that you cn do right now other than to update the apps in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.
There has been a problem with the App Store updates tab for a few days now and we are all waiting for Apple to fix it.
Look at all of the discussions on the iPad forum that are talking about this right now.
