Hi, I have windows XP service pack 3.
2.2ghz processor (64)
2gig ram
6600gt grafix card
Problem is: Put disc in drive, click on install, starts initializing & stops on 90%! Left it running while i went out for approx 2hrs & still no progress. Just stays on 90%! Tried again & again! Same thing happens each time.

One possibility is that your DVD drive is having a problem reading a file on the disk. Are you able to successfully copy the disk to the desktop or another location on your hard drive? Try uninstall all Adobe software from the PC before installing CS 5.5, then reinstall them back again after you installed CS 5.5.

Having problems getting past the Upgrade Check screen when re-installing Creative Suite 4 Web Premium

I'm trying to reinstall Creative Suite 4 Web Premium, and I get stumbling on the Upgrade Check screen. Creative Suite 4 Web Premium isn't an option to select, and I put in my serial number with every choice, and it doesn't work. I can't get past this screen to continue the install, and I don't want to click trial because I have the serial number. Any thoughts or help would be awesome! Thanks!

I'm having the same exact problem.... did you ever get this resolved? It won't recognize a serial number from a previous version/purchase.

Problem Installing Creative Suite 6 Production Premium

I am trying to install the student and teacher edition of Adobe creative Suite 6 production premium. I received the serial number authorization and I can get through all the initial questions however when the install starts it stops at 2% while it's trying to install the dynamic link support. It takes about 30 minutes and then I get this error message: Installation Failed. Adobe Genuine Software Verification Failure. I have run the cleaner tool and have removed all previous creative suite installations. I am running Windows 7 service pack 1. I have tried this three times..
I tried to go through live chat but once I finally got to the first representative they couldn't answer the question and I've waited an hour to be connected to a technical support person and no one has come back to address this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem Installing Creative Suite 4 design premium.

It would get to second disc, stop and have an errors. I ran the CS4 cleanscript and now on install I get a window that tells me I do not have SP1 for Vista installed (which I do). I went to MS and downloaded SP1 again but I still get the same error message right at the beggining of install after the systems check is done and it gets ready to install. Anyone else have this issue or know the problem?

Okay, I went back and did a system restore for before I had tried to install CS4. Here again is the previous error message and why I used the utility to try to clean it up first. It says...Done with Errors and that the following products failed to install..Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Version Cue.here is more details

How do I turn off Messenger when installing Creative Suite 4/Web Premium?

I am installing this software from CD
on my laptop (Windows 7 OS). I get an error message early in the install saying I must close
Windows Live Messenger. But I closed the application using Task Manager. I click 'Retry' and the same error message appears. I can't get past this point. Any ideas? Thanks.

PROBLEMS INSTALLING ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 4 WEB PREMIUM.

Can anyone teach me how to turn off the adobe acrobat speed launcher?
When I was loading the disc a prompt appeared asking me to disable it.
Being searching the net but nothing helps.
I just kept having problems installing this software and my computer does qualify for it's requirements.
I even deleted every adobe file just to install this but nothing helps.
Any ideas how I could install this right?

(I give up. I am calling for the helpline.)

I have a legal copy ( cds and cases ) of Adobe creative suite 4 web premium for windows, but i cannot find if is legally possible to install it on another Pc ( total of 2 pc ).

Mac software works on Mac only.
Win software works on Win only.

Downloaded from Adobe site (Download CS6 products). Downloaded both File 1 and 2 Design and Web, English version. Both files are on my desktop in the same folder. Do I just need to run the .exe (file 2) to install CS6 (just thought to ask/ maybe try that)? I have my serial number I can enter once it is downloaded.

I recently bought a new computer.
I seem to have problems installing Adobe CS 4 Web Premium on Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows does not seem to read the disks. Nothing happens after I enter the CD. I've tried installing it manually but it still doesnt open to auto installer.
Any idea how I'll be able to get this working? Will I need to upgrade to Windows Ultimate?

This is unrelated to what version of W7. Most likely it is some security thing that prevents autostart on removable media. Check your settings.

Updates failed on Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium

Hello, I have a problem. My hard disk crashed so I had to replace it and reinstall my Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium.
The installation was fine, I used of course the Serial Number on the box, but when I tried to launch the update I got the message “some updates failed to install" (although all did fail). Then it says "if you wish to install these updates please fix the problem below and retry". Below it says, under the name of each product "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later". I did it several times, but got always the same message.
I contacted the customer support, I spent over half an hour chatting, and the result was that, as this is an old product, they cannot help me and told me to post this issue on the forum.
I don’t really understand what is the Adobe customer service for, if they are unable to give help!

How to combine or merge 2 CD's of Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium

Problem:
I bought "Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium" which came in 2CD's.
My laptop's CD drive don't play CD's due to error.
So I copied contents of 2 CD's into external hard drive.(2 different folder)
When i start 'Setup.exe' it installs first folder(CD1) and once done with, it asks for 2CD. Here I don't have option to direct it to 2nd folder.
What I did ?
I copied contents of 2 foldes into one, and overwritten whatever it asked for.
Mainly 2CD contains, 'payloads' which I overwritten with the 'payloads' of CD1
After installing 1CD, it still asks for 2CD
What to do ? Can any expert help me merge contents of 2CD's into single folder ?

I know how confusing this is and i was actually using your forum to try and figure it out myself...but as
i looked around i couldnt find anything but i eventually just tried to do it myself and figure out different
ways of doing it and i found a way that worked...what you do is
Step One: you save disc 1 into a folder on your EXTERNAL hard drive.
Step Two: Save disc 2 on your external hard drive not in a folder but just straight onto your hard drive.
Step Three: Run Autoplay on disc 1 from the folder.
If everything was done right, it should install completly without ever even asking for disc 2.

Missing Serial Numbers for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium with the education discount in 2010. My computer crashed and I am trying to install the software on my new computer. I do not have the serial numbers anywhere. For some reason, the Adobe Acrobat 9 serial number was saved in my Adobe Account. However, the remainder of the applications, which were installed on the same day, were not saved in my account? So now, I have no way of installing anything except Adobe Acrobat 9. Is there a way to have a new serial number issued to you? Or a way for Adobe to use my Acrobat 9 serial number to track down the others? I have all the installation files. Is it hidden in one of those files possibly?

Try chat, they might be able to assist you in finding it thru your account. You might be able to use the Acrobat info to convince them that you also have the CS5 under your account.
