Problems installing CS4 Premium Production and serial numbers

I purchased this suite and electronically downloaded it and used the serial given to me a few years ago. I have a newer computer that I am trying to transfer the suite to. I only had Photoshop CS4 installed on my older laptop (I didn't need the other programs in the suite). I deactivated the program and tried to just reinstall Photoshop CS4 on my newer laptop but when I used the original serial number given to me, it wasn't accepted. I then went to download the entire suite as I had originally done from here: https://adobe.subscribenet.com
I've downloaded all of the components but am having trouble fully installing the suite.

Thanks. I just figured it out. I had forgotten to unzip all of the folders before starting the install. Serial number worked this time as well.

Installing InDesign upgrade versions and serial numbers on new computer

I have a brand new iMac with a clean install of Yosemite. I want to install several versions of InDesign in order to be able to work in whatever version my clients use.
I am planning to install CS5, CS5.5, and CS6. I understand the need to install the oldest version first and to proceed upward, and that I will need to install Java beforehand for the earlier versions.
My question is regarding serial numbers to activate these installs. I have used InDesign since the day it came out (InDesign version 1 - full purchase). All the versions since have been upgrades. So, when I go to start CS5, what serial will it want? My previous CS4 or the CS5 one, and so on?
I'm trying to avoid installation failures where I have to run cleaner and reinstall -- I want to do it correctly from the start. I am confused about whether the upgrade versions will be looking for the original full purchase, which is ancient and not on the computer.

First off, anything earlier than CS6 is unsupported. That out of the way.
If CS5 was an upgrade, you’ll need its serial as well as the serial of the qualifying product. You’ll be prompted for the qualifying product after you enter the serial for CS5.
Lather…rinse…repeat for 5.5 and 6 but those installers should see the earlier one that’s been installed.

As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard.

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

No matching records found 'Batchs and Serial Numbers' (OSRD) (ODBC-1028)

Hi experts,
These days In our 2007 system, we had a serial number maintain problem on 'Recipt from Production' transaction.
When we open 'Serial Number Management' form, we can not update S/N by 'Complete' operation mode for some items. but it works for 'Update' operation mode.
The system show 'No matching records found 'Batchs and Serial Numbers' (OSRD) (ODBC-1028)' in the status bar.
How could I fix it ?

Hi Wilson,
Do you manage the serial number transaction for respective item with "On Every Transaction" or "On Release Only" (in Item master data)? Because, when you manage those item with "On Every Transaction", you should already filled the serial number when you tried to receive those item whether by Goods Receipt PO or Receive from Production transaction.
"Complete" operation in Serial Numbers Management only works for item which you manage by "On Release Only", it doesn't work for item which managed using "On Every Transaction". Hope I don't misunderstood your question.

One of my ckient he purchases Raw Material and converts it into finished good and he want to know the cost which occurs in the process of production and where he can see that in SAP B1 and after it is converted into Finished Good it takes some time to be sold and at that time where can he chek his inventory level .
I think in SAP B1 if we enter a item as a raw material it will be shown as raw material till the time it is sold .
Can u plz help me out in this how should i map his process in SAP B1 is that possible or not.

My issue has finally been solved by Verizon for my mismatched MEID and Serial numbers. The tech support guy was just about to fill out the DOA form to get a new phone when he asked me if they tried switching the MEIDs in the system. I gave him the MEID that was in my phone and after a few minutes, my phone was activated. Don't let any reps tell you any different. Just tell them they need to switch the MEID in their side of the system. Hope this helps everyone having problems! Good luck!

Problems installing Illustrator CC (2014) and InDesign CC (2014) on OS X Yosemite

I'm currently having problems installing Illustrator CC (2014) and InDesign CC (2014) on OS X Yosemite. Both applications fail with the message "Installation Failed: The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes.(-60)".
I've tried uninstalling Illustrator CC and InDesign CC and then reinstalling, but still get the same error message. Other applications in Creative Cloud all install without issues.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and resolved it please?

Sorry for the slow response. My Mac wouldn't boot following a failed Yosemite update. I've since reinstalled Yosemite but the exact same problem persists. My Mac is standalone and not on a managed network.
Thank you for the troubleshooting link. I've tried the recommended fix for the -60 error but it doesn't appear to be possible to download the trial version of Illustrator or InDesign for CC editions. They just trigger the Creative Cloud installer and shortly after the -60 error again.
The problem is still specific to Illustrator and InDesign and I've tried uninstalling all Creative Cloud applications and reinstalling. Every reinstalls except InDesign and Illustrator.

ExChange of Product and Serial number

Hello All,
I have a starnge requirement,If a customer gets an ex-change of a Product,
His old Product number and serial number should be changed to new Product
number and Serial number. Keeping the Service Ticket or Service Order
linkages intact ( ie it should list all the ST's created for the Old product
and Serial number.
Can you please help in achieving this functionality. What are the steps and FM
should i be using to in-coperate this,

What is meant by a Product Number ? Are you talking about the Product ID/Title field ?
As per my understanding, an Object is an unique instance of a Product. So, a product is acting like a class, while an Object is like an Instance of a class. So, what can be a possible business scenario to change the Product ID?
Again, each object is uniquely identified by the Serial Number. When you are assigning an Object to a Business Partner, only the Business Partner Id will get changed, but the serial number should remain as it will always identify the object.
It would be better if you provide some more detailed information as to how exactly and what is the exact requirement and the business scenario so that a possible technical solution can be arrived at.

What I need on the query is that I want a list of items with the on order quantity and when we are expecting this order to be received. The receiving date is based on the PO delivery date. The trick here is that I need to Master sku to show the delivery date of the component sku. In my scenario all components have the same delivery date for the Master sku. If there are mulitple delivery dates because each warehouse is getting them on a different date then I want to get the delivery date for that warehouse.
Let me know if this is possible and if yes please guide towards a query for it.

Problem Installing CS4 Design Premium: Student License

Just picked up my copy, registered my copy/got serial number.
At first, I was confused as to which disk to enter first, one says Application 2 (says disc 2 when it's in the Mac) and one that says content.
No installation menu/instructions pop up when either CD is in.
"Disc 2" has an icon that says Adobe CS4 Premium and on clicking it has two folders, extensions and payloads.
Am I missing a disk? Perhaps Application 1?
Also, I had the trial versions of some of the programs, but I got rid of them, so that shouldn't be a problem right?
My computer store is closed right now or I'd call them. I'm a bit stressed because this is a big investment and it doesn't seem to be working.

I just installed Design Standard and had the same question. I think you basically have to locate the installed CS4 programs on your hard drive (usually in the Apps folder). Basically, the "documentation" folder on the Content disc #2 is useless. If you expand the "goodies" folder, you'll see a folder of presets and one of plug-ins. To install them, you'll have to drag and drop the extra ones from the Content disc into the corresponding presets or plug-ins folders within the Photoshop program folder on your hard drive. Be careful--I think a few of the folders within can't just be dragged and dropped, since you'll overwrite a folder of the same name already installed with the original program.
Hope this makes sense. I think it's stupid that Adobe doesn't at least include a .pdf or .txt file explaining as such on the root level of disc #2, but I guess the figure it's common knowledge. Although, they do put the instructions of how to install for the disc #1, so why wouldn't they do the same thing? They do, however, include a .pdf (OptionalPluginsReadMe.pdf) of how to install those under the plug-ins folder on disc #2.

Problems installing CS4 by flash/USB drive

I purchased the DVD-Roms late last year to install CS4. The programs successfully installed on my laptop, which recently died and is in the shop. But I never was able to install them on the desktop and would like to do so. When I put the DVDs into my DVD reader (which doesn't normally have problems reading things), it grinds away but cannot read the disks. My attempted solution was to copy the programs on a USB drive. In disc 1 I selected "autoplay" and most of the programs are installed but still not useable until I can get the second disc to also install.
Now I have a message, "Please insert Adobe CS4 Design Premium into drive E:\ to continue installation.
- If I put the application disc 2 in the drive, it revs but does not actually read the disc.
- On the USB folder sitting on my desktop for Application 2, my options are:
     -- extensions
     -- payloads
     -- autorun (Which sounds good. But I click on it and it just opens a text editor that says [autorun] icon=cs4_designprem_disc.ico)
     -- cs4_designprem_disc (Opens to show an icon/graphic)
This is not a space issue because last time, I downloaded the "trial version" of CS4 from the website when it was available and then would manually enter my serial number. I wiped the hard drive. Now customer support says there are no links available online to CS4 since CS5 is soon available.
Any suggestions on how to get application disc 2 installed too, from the USB drive if possible?

Download on the iMac OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0 and create a USB recovery disk.
Use that USB disk to boot your MBP retina.
Use the Terminal, that you find inside the recovery environment, to perform these commands
Verifiy that the main internal disk is labelled /dev/disk0
diskutil list
this command will completely erase the internal disk. Please change /dev/disk0 if your is different, (it should not).
diskutil eraseDisk jhfs+ "Macintosh HD" GPT /dev/disk0
Verify that you just have 3 partition, no more Recovery HD partition
diskutil list
/dev/disk0
   #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER
   0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *500.1 GB   disk0
   1:                        EFI                         209.7 MB   disk0s1
   2:                  Apple_HFS Macintosh HD            499.2 GB   disk0s2
Quit Terminal and proceed with Reinstall Mac OS X
It'll take a lot of time, depending on the speed of your internet connection.
