I downloaded Advisor and ran it but it found nothing wrong.
Any ideas why it won't install?

There were not any logs pertaining to Creative suite 6 only for muse and cs3.
Any suggestions on installing? I'm running 10.6.8

I am trying to install setup for adobe photoshop getting the error which is mentioned above I have windows visa as operating system

You will want to review your PDApp.log file to discover what is causing your difficulties. The following steps can be utilized to allow you to discover your error message:
1. Navigate to the PDapp.log file in one of the following folders:
Note: The following folders are hidden by default. If necessary, use Folder Options (Windows) or Terminal (Mac OS) to show hidden files.
• Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp
2. Open PDapp.log in a text editor such as WordPad (Windows)
PDapp.log records installation attempts sequentially. Each line in the log starts with a date and time stamp, which indicates when the installation was attempted. Each attempt starts with a Build Version number.
3. Analyze only the most recent attempt. If you can’t determine which build attempt is the most recent, delete PDapp.log and run the installer again.
In the most recent installation attempt, look for lines identified by [ERROR] or [FATAL]. For example:

Installer failed to initialize: link to adobe support advisor

adobe elements photoshop & premiere bundle download purchase: downloaded fine apparently, but neither will install. The link to adobe support advisor has been disabled due to improved support at adobe.com. I can't find any support for this at all. So now I'm not able to download the product I bought, and there is no support to help me do it. What's up with this?

That LOOKS like you are trying to install to the D drive instead of the default C drive... true?
What happens if you install to the default C drive?
What happens if you right click the installer and select "Run as Administrator" from the option list?

if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

Hi there Mylenium, is there any way you can help me? My cs6 is doing all kinds weird things lately. The liquifying too stopped working completely, when I try to work with the actions, it starts flickering and changing opacity in color by itself. It starts flickering and is completely out of whack! I just got creative cloud 2014 and decided to install After effects on my laptop. I get error to install Adobe Application Manager. I got AAM but installing it, I got an error message "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe support advisor"

I just got creative cloud 2014 and decided to install After effects on my laptop. I get error to install Adobe Application Manager. I got AAM but installing it, I got an error message "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe support advisor" Now, the support advisor is discontinued. What do I do?

My PC got infected with virus and i was using avast, intead of repairing the files it deleted them. so i had to reinstall most of the softwares. but for photoshop i had to use "adobe creative suite cleaner tool" and "adobe support advisor", but though i get this error "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

Two things to try. Try another browser, if you used Firefox try IE9, or chrome, or whatever. Sometimes just trying it again might work as server was busy or there was a gllitch in connection.

Adobe CS6 "installer failed to initialize"

Have been installing CS6 manually across our site for about a week, suddenly the install has stopped working and I receive the following error;
"We've encountered the following issues
Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
When I click on the link to "Get Adobe Support Advisor", it says its discontinued! - Irritating

Cabsupportinfo are you installing using a fresh copy of the installation files?
For the specific error I would recommend reviewing your PDApp.log file.
