Problems installing license for V7 - registration host != license host

Question

Hello All,
I am currently trying to install the license key for a V7 Redwood installation on my PC.
(Windows XP, Oracle XE 10g, Redwood V7.0.3)
When I install the license key through the config program it appears to work, but when I check the config.log it says "Registered without licenses.".  I was wondering if this was to do with the registration host and the license host being seen as a different machine by the config tool?  They are the same host, but the license host refers to the machine using the fqdn.
The register.txt file contained the following lines
On license host:    N
Registration host:  mypchostname
License host:        mypchostname.mydomain.corp
Database host:     mypchostname
"show license" from within Redwood Shell gives the same "Registered without licenses" text.
When I try and connect (just in case) from Redwood Explorer it says "No Redwood license installed".
Anybody else encountered (and solved) this problem?

Thanks for your response.
Unfortunately I haven't received a new license key yet to try installing the license through RS, but I realised why I was getting the following error when I'd tried to set the license host before - the jcs_listener wasn't running!
RS> set license host mypchostname
JCS-00502: OS error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
JCS-00342: could not open socket to Network Agent on host mypchostname, port 1529
JCS-00332: cannot obtain hardware ID
After starting the jsclistener it happily allows me to set the license host however when I try the register force command the resulting register.txt file still has the fqdn.  I'm going to try and temporarily disable some of the DNS settings on my pc to see if I can stop it performing a lookup when creating the register.txt file.
