Problems installing Safari in Windows 7

I am logged on as an Administrator. I downloaded the Windows version of Safari 4.
When I try to install it partway through it stops with this error message:
"The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ESET. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator."
I tried the right-click option to run the setup file as Administrator. Same results.
I ran a Administrator Command Prompt and tried it that way. The same error message appears.
HELP!
No one yet. I'm thinking about bying a laptop which has windows 7 already installed (I think home edition), but googling I found various topics of people having trouble getting cs3 master collection to work (programs of master collection not being installed, error messages about missing windows files etc, etc.). Which version of windows 7 should I have to make cs3/cs4 work? Or should I be able to install cs3/4 on any windows 7 computer without any problems? Or should I do anything specific before installing?
I'm a little worried that I won't be able to use cs3 (which I much rather use than cs4) when I buy a new computer with windows 7.

Problem Installing 817 on Windows 2000 with RAID Array
I am having a problem installing Oracle under windows 2000 which has 2 x 60 GB discs configured in RAID array. When I run the setup program the cursor goes busy for about 10 seconds and returns back to normal and nothing happens !. No errors nothing.
However when I run the Object Manager in the ods_preinstall directory it starts but in the log file I get the following error message:-

Any idea whats happening....? Has anyone seen this before. Do I need to do something special in teh RAID..?

MartinHere are some possible solutions:
1. The installation notes state that you must be logged on as Administrator to be able to install 9i. Are you logged on as the Administrator? Being logged on as user01 with Administrator priviledges isn't the same as Administrator.
2. Is the disk full? If I remember my installation correctly, I needed 3 times the size of the files. The documentation will tell you how much space you need.

Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I've tried installing Safari 4 and I get the following error:
"The Installer could not install some files in "/". Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
I have tried installing through software update and I've also downloaded the Safari installer and tried to install that way. I have also had a problem installing JavaForMacOSX10.5Update4, with the same error.
I tried Disk Utility, thinking it was a permissions issue, but I get the error message:
"First Aid Failed
Disk Utility stopped repairing permissions on "MACHD" because the following error was encountered:
The underlying task reported failure on exit."
Also, in the Disk Utility information area at the bottom of the window, the Mount Point just shows a "/". I'm not sure what that means but when I click on my other partition I get more directory info.
I didn't have a problem installing the latest Mac OS X update or any other updates. Any ideas on how I can fix this?Make sure that you used the Repair Disk button & not either of the permissions buttons when running Disk Utility. (If it is grayed out, you either haven't started up from the DVD or haven't selected your startup volume on your internal hard drive from the list one the left.)
Also, the repair cannot give you the same error, since it doesn't install anything. I suggest that you try again, being careful to start up from the DVD, to select Disk Utility from the "Utilities" menu as soon as the menu bar appears at the top of the screen, to run the disk repair on your startup volume, & to take careful note of any errors that result.
If any of this doesn't match what you see when you try to use Disk Utility in this way, please describe what you do see. -

Does CS3 install and work normal when installed on a windows 7 system? Some say it installed / worked just fine. Others that they had problems installing or getting it to run. Others that it depens on which windows 7 system you have. Etc. etc.
What do I have to take into account when installing cs3 on a windows 7 machine? I know it's not designed for windows 7 but I rather use cs3 then cs4.No one yet. Trying to install Safari on windows 8.1
I can't download Safari on a windows 8.1 Toshia laptop. I've used chrome and explorer 11 and both start and then stop after about 5% of the download.
I'm not sure if this is related but when running apple update it tells me that there is a new version of icloud to download. same problem but I get an error message about the signature being unidentified or something like that. I've tried to disable the Norton firewall with no luck. Any ideas?You're wasting your time. Safari for Windows has not been updated in many years, and never will be.

Problems Installing JDK 7u2 Windows 64-bit

Help please.The problem of installation of JDK 7u2 on Windows x64 is coming for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of JDK.... However, i have tried installing them on Windows x86 (specifically Win XP SP3 x86 on VirtualBox 4.1.8) and the 32 bit version of JDK seems to be installing just fine on 32 bit Windows.
I might be wrong here but maybe the problem is that the 32 bit code on the JDK 7u2 may contain some 16bit code and so the Windows x64 is not able to run it (x64 OS not backwards compatible with 16 bit code). However the chances of this is slim since this is an update and the JDK 7u1 both 32 and 64 bit versions were fine.
However if this might have happened, then it is also possible that the 16bit code is also present in the 64 bit version of JDK 7u2 and thats why both the versions are not running on Windows x64.
Hoping they fix the issue soon. I need to do some testing and programming on Java 7. -

When trying to install the Safari 4.0 on my macbook pro Mac OS X 10.5.5 I was told to
download and install Mac OS X 10.5.6.. so I did that.
But now when I am trying to install Safari 4.0 again , now with 10.5.6 I get a note saying that I don´t
have a program that can open the document .
The problem is that I didn´t had the problem before updating to 10.5.6.. Back then I could open the Safari 4.0 document.
Does anyone recognize this problem or just have some tips on what to do? if the update removed a program I had before or if there is program I could download.
