Problems installing windows2k pro on a 845PE max

hi..
i've recently bought 2 sets of msi 845pe max motherboards and started installing one of them. it was okie... then i started installing the other one but i can't seem to complete copying the files from the cd to the comp and will prompt me telling me that a file cannot be copied over. so windows cannot start up. i swopped components and it didn't work. so finally i tried swopping IDE cables and it worked perfectly..... so i've got a few spare IDE cables and used them and now my working system cannot work! is there a benchmark for IDE cables or wat seems to be the problem?
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Thanks bob,
I have read elsewhere on the Internet that windows 8 is supported on bootcamp and that it works.
Sometimes yes, often no, but it is unsupported officially so you'll have to live with it.

  • Problem installing officejet pro 6830 software on my iMac running Snow Leopard

Greetings, I have a problem installing officejet pro 6830 software on my iMac running Snow Leopard.  When I insert the HP software disc onto my iMac, and go to the HP website, it says:
    "403" Ooops!  Request forbidden...
Any possible solutions to this?  Thanks for any feedback...

    Hi @RNOjetnow ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue with needing the drivers for the 10.6 Snow Leopard OS.  You should be able to install the Apple Drivers just by connecting the USB cable.
Here is a document that might help.
Hope this helps you install the drivers.
    Thanks.

  • Problems Installing Acrobat Pro 9.0 after Hard Drive Crashed

I am having to reinstall my Creative Suite CS 5.0 on my MacBook Pro after the replacement SSD crached and I had to reinstall the suite back onto my orginal hard drive. Everything in the Creative Suite installs with no problem except Acrobat Pro 9.0 and Distiller. After it is copied, I open it and after a few seconds I am presenting with the following message...
"Suite Product Activation Needed - Adobe Acrobat was installed as part of a suite. To enable Adobe Acrobat, please start another component of this suite (such as Adobe Photoshop)."
I have tried opening Photoshop first and then opening Acrobat, but I get the same message.
I am at a lose as to what to do.
    Thanks for any help.

    Matthew,
As you stated the CS5 version has a separate disk for Acrobat 9 and a separate serial number for Acrobat 9.  Unfortunately the error message you are seeing is usually seen when launching Acrobat shipped with either CS4 or CS5.5 as the activation of the product is tied to first launching another suite product.  Try removing the Inprogress key from the registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Inprogress.
Of course only do this after backing up your registry.

    It shuts down? Doesn't restart?
What is the difference in environment from the shop and your place?
Shutting down is normally - still - a sign of the processor turning itself off to protect itself. It's not alive long enough in BIOS, to make you see the temp?
I doubt you keep the computer in the cupboard, but it should anyway have about 50 cm free space in every direction (except downward of course).
Fredrik, The difference between home and shop, I keep the PC in a PC stand at ground level. I could improve its position slightly however, it has been sighted there for aroung eighteen months!  The shop guy didn't seem overly concerned by the 49c temp, (he thought the fan was ok) which increased to around 56c with 1.5gb ram installed. When i tried to get into bios I was probably too late hitting delete key has it went to windows scan! After the problems I'd had last week with my original hard drive I didn't want to take any more risk's! Its seems obvious the cpu temp is affected with the extra ram, any ideas?
    Thanks Pete

  • Problems installing Premiere Pro CC

I'm trying to run Premiere Pro CC after downloading the free trial. Whn I click the sign in box after oppening the software directly from the windows menu, it appears a windiw that says that I have to connect to the internet or update my whatch. What can I do? My internet connection is ok and my watch too.

I have this same problem installing Adobe CC on a new Windows 8.1 machine. I am doing the install through a remote connection to the laptop, so I have a working and fast internet connection which is responding well, and yet Adobe CC continually believes it is not connected to the internet.

  • Problems installing Premiere Pro CS5.5

I am a newbie to Apple systems, and as a result am having no luck installing Premiere Pro CS5.5 to my new iMac desktop.
I've sucessfully installed and used this program on my very familiar Win7 system, but moving to OX10 and Apple has proven to be more
than my non-technical brain can handle.  I cannot find anything specifically labeled Install.app, and on clicking some of the files with
"Install" in the label, a box pops up saying "there is no application set to open the document".  I would so like to get to work on my footage,
and would appreciate any help you amazing, knowlegeable people can provide!  Thanks!

Have you tried some of the beginners material for OSX on the web?

  • Problem Installing XP Pro on Virtual PC

I'm trying to install XP Professional on iMac G4 2 Ghz.
When I run Virtual PC I get the message "OS not found Install an OS on this hard drive"
When I go to capture the CD, the option is grey and unavailable.  I tried the workaround of going to virtual disk assistant and making a copy of the disk in a file.  I then mounted that copy onto Drive 1 Settings.  I'm still getting the same message.  This is driving me nuts.  Please help.

I just re-read the whole string.  I had made a typo.  Let me clarify:

I recently added a VPC7 on a different (older, slower, less RAM, etc...) mac and it worked fine.
The problem is that the mac won't even attempt to boot the disk.  I am not having any errors or problems with installing it (at least not yet... we'll see if I can get the stupid thing to boot).

  • Problem installing Acrobat Pro 8

Installed CS3 design premium on my MacBook Pro from CD. Got all applications (InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc, but got message that Acrobat Pro 8 failed to install. What do you recommend?

    Hi KingCollins4,
Please disable anti-virus or firewall programs from your computer.
Could you please share the snapshot of the error message that pops up so that I can analyze where the problem exactly is.
    Hope to get your response.

  • Problem installing Acrobat pro - installs with Slovak as language

    Hello,
I have tried this twice with the same result:
I downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant and used it to download Acrobat XI Pro. When I finished downloading the Acrobat installation file, I started it and it popped up in Slovak as the language.  I selected English instead from the pull-down language menu on the first installation screen, but nothing changed, and if I continued the installation, it was in Slovak.  I tried changing the language once the program was fully installed and it was partially successful - when I opened the program it was in English, but pop up windows keep coming up (I think asking me to register or submit a serial number) and they are still in Slovak.  I used an online translator to get even that far!  I am running Windows 7.  Let me know if any other information would be useful.
    Thanks.

I have had the same problem today 3/25/2014. Any insight on what I can do to correct the issue?

  • Problem installing premiere pro cs6

I have a 64 bit windows 7 hp pavilion dv7 6135dx and when I try to launch premier after installing it gives me an error saying i need to update my video display drivers.  My drivers are up to date and I've used premiere pro cs5.5 on this computer without a problem.  Please help!!!

What is the exact brand & model of your graphics adapter... and what is the exact driver number?
Do NOT count on Windows Update to tell you your driver is up to date... you need to go to the vendor site for your brand & model

  • Problem installing Acrobat Pro XI  Mac- Error 1

Dowloaded Acrobat XI Pro Mac and tried to install. Got a "Configuration Error" message. Asked me to uninstall and install. Did so but got same error messgae. Not prior version of Acrobat on system.
    Any suggestions?

Since there is no prior version, then this is a new full product and not an upgrade I assume. A common problem on the PC is to not deactivate anti-virus during installation. That may potentially be a problem on the MAC too.

  • Problem Installing QT Pro in OS10.6.8

    Please help...
I just got QT Pro for my OS10.6.8 MacMini. Problem is that I'm unable to find the
Preferences section from the pulldown menu in QT Player to input the activation key #.
BTW...since when did QT Player include recording and editing capabilities w/o requiring
    the QT Pro upgrade?
    Did I just waste $30 ?

Which version of QT are you looking at? The QuickTime Player in the Applications folder is QT X. That's the wrong one. Your key is for QuickTime 7, which is not installed by default in Snow Leopard. You can install QT 7 from your Snow Leopard DVD, or download it here.
Once installed, launch QT7 and choose Registration from the menu. Enter the information in your email exactly as shown. Press Enter on the last line (not tab) and the logo at the left should change to show it's the pro version.
