Problems linking to registered domain
I have used the Associate Domain Form to link our registered domain name: "www.totneseuropeanschool.com" (registered with Go Daddy) to the Business Catalyst Site.
However, typing in the URL www.totneseutopeanschool.com does not bring up our the website. What have I done wrong?
Do I also need to change the DNS on Go Daddy ?
Isuspect this is straightforward to anyone woo uses DNS regularly, but as a first-timer it is daunting!
I am going to assume there was a typo in your link and the t was suppose to be an r? As you can see you havn't changed the DNS servers.
You need to change the Name Servers to
NS1.worldsecuresystems.com and NS2.worldsecuresystems.com
Registrant:
Domains By Proxy, LLC
Registered through: GoDaddy.com, LLC (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: TOTNESEUROPEANSCHOOL.COM
Domain servers in listed order:
NS07.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS08.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

Report problem link opens up word (pc)
When I click on report problem link in purchase history for an app, all it brings up word. Don't have email receipt yet and itunes support is useless. it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Click the "contact support" link toward the lower-left of that page and follow the instructions.

Problems setting up a Domain - javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException
I am having problems setting up a Domain. The following steps summarize
what I have done.
1. Created FooDomain in d:/bea/wlserver6.0/config and created
appropriate config.xml, startup scripts, security, etc... (FooDomain
boots ok)
2. Moved console.war to bea/wlserver6.0/config/FooDomain/applications
3. Connected to FooDomain via console (works ok).
4. Defined machine FooMachine (happens to be localhost)
5. Defined new server FooServer (in addition to default myserver) and
assigned it to FooMachine.
6. Created a new directory d:/managedServers/FooServer (note - outside
installation directory)
7. Created directories d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs &
d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications
8. Copied sample startManagedServer.cmd from mydomain to
d:/managedServers/FooServer & modified appropriately.
9. Ran startManagedServer.cmd (Note: I was able to connect to the
Administration Server ok)
The problems are as follows. (From the console - pointing to the
Administration Server for the FooDomain)
1. I am unable to configure a DefaultWebApp_FooServer to be located at
d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications. I get the following exeption:
javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException:
FooDomain:Name=DefaultWebApp_FooServer,Type=WebAppComponent.
2. I get a similar error when trying to set FooServer log locations to
d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs
Any ideas as to why? This then begs the question, what if FooServer was
on a different physical server altogether. How would I define the
location of the DefaultWebApp and logs.
Thanks
jay ()If you want your application work, think my way. At least, all my teammates have used this method to build their development environment. If you are more interested to debug for Weblogic, contact your support representative. The tools from Administration console look very nice, but not function as you want (e.g., the tool to convert version 5.1 application to version 6, even monitor tools). Administration console is very nice to be used to configue the parameters for a domain, but not so trustful and not for application setup in my own experience and that is why I suggest you use mydomain and DefaultWebApp_MyServer as templates. By the way, I did modify config.xml manually to change the default web application entry, etc, to what I want.
Jay Zammit <[email protected]> wrote:
I did not modify config.xml manually. In fact, I am able to boot both the Administration Server & Managed Server. The problem happens when using the Administration console to assign my logs and Default Applications directory to the d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs, and d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications/DefaultWebApp_FooServer directories. Try it yourself. Go to the Configurer WebApp option and type in a fully qualified directory such as d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications/DefaultWebApp_FooServer
and see if it works on your system.

One suggestion. Use the default domain mydomain as a template. Just make a copy of "mydomain" in folder config and rename the copy to whatever you like. Use some help tools to search all files (non-binary files) in new domain for key word "mydomain" and replace these words with your new domain name. To build an application, just rename the DefaultWebApp_MyServer to what you like and search "DefaultWebApp_MyServer" in all files (non-binary files) in your new domain and replace these words with yournew application name. Note you need to modify the scripts accordingly. Then you can run "startWeblogic" in your new domain directory to start your new domain. Other parameters should be configured by Administration console. If you manually modify configuration files, you could expect some bad news without reason.

Problem with oracle.jbo.domain.Date
Hi there,
I've a problem with oracle.jbo.domain.Date,
I'm doing this code (this part of code is used in my Session Attribute Listener):
* This method is used to add the session id in the database, whenever user login
public void attributeAdded(HttpSessionBindingEvent hsbe){
if(!hsbe.getName().equals("user")){
return;
AmLogin am = (AmLogin)Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(
"com.ahm.pdt001.am.AmLogin",
"AmLoginLocal");
try{
hsbe.getSession().setAttribute("login", new Date(new Timestamp(
System.currentTimeMillis())));
am.createLogin(hsbe.getValue().toString(), hsbe.getSession().
getAttribute("login").toString());
} catch(Exception e){
e.printStackTrace();
System.out.println("Error insert data user: " + hsbe.getValue());
} finally{
Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule(am, true);
Everything is running well in Jdev 10.1.3 (I'm using ADF Faces technology), and I'm trying to deploy it on OC4J 10.1.2 and it works. But it raised an error when this part of code is runned.
--------------caused and error------------------------

Thx,

Switching from Muse Business Catalyst site to register domain name.
My domain name is registered through web.com
I recently created my site through Muse and previewed it using Business Catalyst. I would like to fully publish it using Adobe as my hosting and the registered domain name I purchased through web.com
How do I do this? Where do I find the DNS info they are asking for?Hi
try
http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/using/change-site-domain.html
it shows the domain names in Step 2 point 3. I recently went through the same process and my site started working within 5 mins. I might have been lucky! -

So there must be something different about either this Mac, or this account. Arrg. -
Using a registered domain instead of .Mac standard URL
Is it possible to use a registered domain name that I own (the name of my business) instead of the standard .Mac string URL?
iMac G5 Mac OS X (10.4.5)Welcome to the discussions, Firestorm.
If the company that has your domain does forwarding, you can have them forward your domain to your. Mac site. That's how I did http://www.makentosh.com.
Also, if you want to use the .Mac counters, you have to use normal forwarding and not stealth forwarding. -
Cant download PDFs and 'report problem link wont send anything
All links to PDFs on sites supposedly do a download, but then do not display anything. When I tried to use the Report a Problem link I filled in all the details and then pressed submit but it did nothing - could only go back
If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
Or you could see if the second half of Kappy's reply in this thread helps : https://discussions.apple.com/message/20357006#20357006 -

Problems linking Intel MKL in LabWindows
I would like to use the Intel Math Kernel Libraries (MKL) in LabWindows. However, I keep getting a linker error (undefined symbol when I try to call an MKL function). The functions I want are the FFT libraries (DFTI). I included the "mkl.h" and "mkl_dfti.h" files, and added them to my project as well. I also tried adding the /Qmkl compiler flag when compiling using the Intel compiler. This has become really frustrating, I don't know what's not added / included / not being linked.
Has anyone use the MKL successfully in LabWindows?? What libraries did you add? Thanks!
Solved!
Go to Solution.Wow - sorry about the lack of formatting in the previous post. Here it is again:
I am working on a 64-bit installation of Win7, but I am making a 32-bit project. I am using LabWindows as an integrated development environment and project builder. I have tried using both its native compiler and the Intel C compiler. In both configuration the linker is LabWindows.
I am so far still only trying to use one function from the MKL, to test whether I have everything included and linked properly:
DftiCreateDescriptor()
I am including the following two header files:
#include mkl.h
#include mkl_dfti.h
I added the following to my include paths:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Compiler\11.1\054\
mkl\ia32\lib
c:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Compiler\11.1\054\mkl\ia32\bin
c:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Compiler\11.1\054\mkl\include
I added six .lib's to my project:
mkl_cdft_core.lib
mkl_cdft_core_dll.lib
mkl_core.lib
mkl_core_dll.lib
mkl_intel_c.lib
mkl_intel_c_dll.lib
I have tried compiling with both LabWindows, and with the Intel C Compiler through the LabWindows external compiler support. I have tried it with the following flags to the Intel C compiler:
/Qmkl
/Qopenmp -I%MKLROOT%/include
I get the following errors now:
FFT Test.prj(Release) - 4 link errors
Undefined symbol '_mkl_dft_commit_descriptor_d_c2c_1d_omp' referenced in "mkl_intel_c.lib".
Undefined symbol '_mkl_dft_commit_descriptor_d_r2c_1d_omp' referenced in "mkl_intel_c.lib".
Undefined symbol '___kmpc_begin' referenced in "FFT Test.c".
Undefined symbol '___kmpc_end' referenced in "FFT Test.c".
An Intel MKL support person appears to have responded to my NI forums question, but they haven't been particularly useful yet. The thread is open at:
http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabWindows-CVI/Problems-linking-Intel-MKL-in-LabWindows/td-p/2210642
I have a few questions. First, are these .lib files static libraries, or lists of exported functions for the .dll's? I think half of them, the ones that don't have "_dll" in their name, may be static libraries and therefore can have unresolved external dependencies (giving the first two linker errors). Second, how do I add .dll's to a LabWindows project? I have their directory in my include path (that's the \bin directory or the second include path I listed above). Is this enough? Finally, the Intel MKL responder in the forums.ni thread suggests adding a few .lib files to the linker, but I can't figure out how to do this in LabWindows. -
Problems linking libraries to device
Hi, I am having a problem linking to a library, but only when I am building for the device. When I build for the device it has problems saying a number of functions that I use, their symbols could not be found. Building for the simulator it works just fine. For fun I removed the library from Xcode and tried to build with the simulator. The simulator then gave me the same error messages. Why can it find the symbols from the library for the Simulator, but not for the Device? I have tried explicitly adding the -dylibMYLIB.dylib to the other linking flags, but this did not work.
Thanks,
DavidI have found out that the reason is in my library. The simulator runs on i386 while the actual device will run on armv6. Also the iPhone library needs to be static. See this link for a very good explanation of it all. http://latenitesoft.blogspot.com/2008/10/iphone-programming-tips-building-unix.h tml
Unfortunately my library fails to compile using these tips, does anybody know of a way to take an existing i386 library and recompile it for armv6? That way I could take the existing library I got from MacPorts and make it work for the iPhone.
Hope the link helps a little.

I have a mobleme account and an existing iweb website. I would like to create a second website with a registered domain name. How do I do this?
All you need to do is create your second site in iWeb, move it to the top of lhe list of sites in the left hand pane and publish to your MobileMe account. You must make sure the second site has a different name from the first.
Then setup domain name forwarding to the second site following Apple's instructions here: iWeb: Using your own domain name. You will need to setup forwarding at your domain name provider also.
The key is that the second site (with the domain name) must the top top size in iWeb.
Note: with MobileMe scheduled to be discontinued on June 30, 2012, you might begin looking into obtaining another host. When you do you'll find that both sites will need to have a domain name.
When the time comes take a look at HostExcellence.com. I've had excellent results with it. They have a couple of packages that offer free domain names. And most important they have outstanding 24/7, ear-to-ear customer support.

I download a rental movie and don't want to finish the downloading but I Use the report a problem link in your account history...but i didn't get any answer from Apple
The posted did what this said:
How to report an issue with Your iTunes Store purchase
The link includes the statement:
"The iTunes Store's Customer Support team will contact you as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours."

Usually Apple won't respond, instead they will just fix the problem you have suggested if it is a problem that persists in other user's computers. What problem did you report? Did you ask for them to respond? -
Having Problems Sending to Some Domains
Just started in the last week or so.. From webmail, I am unable to send mail to some domains. One is mailwise.com.
Here are their MX records:
mailwise.com. MX IN 3600 inbound.mailwise.com. [Preference = 10]
mailwise.com. MX IN 3600 smtpbackup.mailwise.com. [Preference = 20]
This is what their servers show when smtpout.mac.com initially connects to send the message:
Apr 17 13:39:24 ib15 postfix/smtpd[4755]: connect from smtpout.mac.com[17.250.248.182]
Apr 17 13:39:24 ib15 postfix/smtpd[4755]: disconnect from smtpout.mac.com[17.250.248.182]
You can see the disconnect within a half of a second. No error is seen or produced by the MailWise servers and no message is received. Yahoo, AOL, and several corporate email systems that I tested do not have any problem sending to this domain.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
RyanHi Terry_P,
Welcome to the forum.
Are you using an email client or webmail? How long ago did this problem occur? Do you know how many accounts are affected?
