Problems Logging In to App Manager

I just joined the Creative Cloud, but when I try to log into the App Manager on my desktop to download the programs, I get an error message saying that I'm not connected to the Internet. I've tried allowing access through my firewall, I've rebooted my computer twice, I've even tried downloading the trial of the program and I get the same error message each time. I'm obviously connected to the Internet, or else I'd not be posting here. What's going on?

I'm not on a managed network, I'm on my home network. I followed all the steps on that page.
1. Verified basic connectivity (I'm definitely on the Internet)
2. Verified access to secure sites (I accessed adobe.com just fine)
3. Verified hosts file (I opened all three provided links--the one that pulls up the Adobe logos and the links for CS5 and 6, all three worked fine)
4. Verified certificates (I went to the certificate manager, found the GlobalSign Root CA, checked the properties, everything was working there)
5. Confirmed the program with firewall (I already added the App Manager to my firewall, but just in case I completely disabled my firewall and tried logging in again, but no result)
The result is the same as it's been for the last two days: "Unable to contact Adobe. Please connect to the Internet and try again."

  • Problems logging in to apps

I am having problems when logging in to various apps. When I try and log in I am getting  "incorrect user name/password" . I am sure the info I am entering is correct as I have checked it on my computer. This is happening on more than a few apps. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thank You

  • Problem logging into Ancestry app

Up until last Saturday the app was working fine, I could log in and see my tree, since then a error says there is a problem with the login, and report to Support - I clicked the link, but have heard nothing at all.
Has anyone else had this problem, and found a way to fix it.  I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but this didn't help.

Try resetting your device. Hold down the home and sleep keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. let it reboot and see if that helps. May, may not.
you may need to contact ancestry via their website and see if you can get any sort of response.

  • Problem logging on to the managed RAS using JBoss Seam

<p>The app I am currently working on is using JBoss Seam.  The sample jsp files you guys created were excellent.  As a simple test I first tried to logon and export a report thru a different app using JSP and Tomcat and had no problems.   I then copied the same code to my Seam application.  I placed the logon and export report code into an Action class.  I had to place the crystal jars into the seam/lib directory in order for seam to compile without errors.  I now have seam running successfully,  but get a runtime exception  every time I try to logon to the RAS server.</p><p>This code</p><p><strong>enterpriseSession = sm.logon(username, password, cms, auth);</strong></p><p>causes this exception</p><p>2006-11-20 12:00:49,551 ERROR [com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.pluginmgr.internal.PluginMgr] (getPlugins:292): unexpected exception<br /><strong>java.lang.ClassCastException</strong>: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.plugin.desktop.pdf.internal.PDFFactory</p><p>Any ideas on how to correct this?</p><p>Thanks in advance,</p><p>Dave</p>

<p>Hi Dave</p><p>I wasn&#39;t familiar with JBoss Seam before you mentioned it in your post.  Looks like yet another application framework like Struts or JSF.  The logon error shouldn&#39;t cause any kind of ClassCastException with a PDF factory.  </p><p>Have you tried commenting out all code except for the login.  My only guess is that Seam changes the way that the code is executed so it appears that the error has to do with the login call.  I really don&#39;t think this is possible.</p><p>Start off real simple and uncomment the code as you go to see where the error is coming from. </p><p>Rob Horne<br /><a href="/blog/10">Rob&#39;s blog - http://diamond.businessobjects.com/blog/10</a></p>

  • HT204053 problems logging in my app store

Hello. I currently am trying to sign in to my app store with my apple id but the box where i have to write the id is locked with the old owner's id. (I have a second hand macbook bought from another person). How can I fix this and enter my own id? thanks

The first thing you should do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You — not the previous owner — must do that. How you do it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
    1. You don't own another Mac.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. For early MBA models, you may need a USB optical drive or Remote Disc. You should have received the media from the previous owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    2. You do own another Mac.
If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
Once booted from the disc, the USB device, or Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it under your ID. In that case, contact iTunes Support.

  • Cannot log into BB APP World... Help please!

So annoying.. I've set up an account with my email address only when I come to signing in it says my address is not registered. So I follow the link to register and try to register the address and it says it's already registered! Go back to the login screen only to see the same original error message.
Only had this BB 2 weeks and already getting annoyed with the little problems I'm continually facing with it. I can't get onto app world to reinstall software (due to the camera not working) and to maybe add some apps.
Has anyone else had this problem logging onto the app world or can help me in any way?
I look forward to any replies, Kind regards.

  • Problem with apps and logging in to app store

On my iphone, I am having a weird problem. Apps that were downloaded were working until last night. Now, when I click on them, it starts up, but then the app dies. I thought I could remove them and reinstall them. But now, when I log onto the app store, it tells me that the authorization failed, to connect to iTunes. I went to iTunes and changed my password. I logged onto iTunes successfully, but still no dice at the app store on the phone.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm having a simalar problem.
When I sync my iphone and apps dowloaded on my pc won't sync to my iphone, and any apps downloaded straight to my iphone won't sync to my pc.
It says that my PC is not authorized but when I authorize it it says that it already is.
    I tried de-autharizing.
And now the apps on my phone do the same as above, you get the start screen for a split second when I open them then it just goes off.
This only hapens on downloaded apps, the built in ones (compass, etc) open fine and everything else seeems ok
Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • As of 3/30 when using the App for Facebook, when I log off of Facebook, it keeps me permanently logged into Facebook. If I use Safari to log into Facebook, I have no problem logging off. Is there a problem with the Facebook App??

As of 3/30/13, when logging off of Facebook using the Facebook App, it will not log me out. It is now permanently keeping me logged in. No problem logging off of Facebook when I do not use the App. Is there anyone that can tell me why this is happening and what I need to do to Logout of Facebook. I like using the App for Facebook but I also want to be able to log off, I do not like to stay logged in.  Is there something different with the latest Apple software I downloaded a couple of weeks ago, IOS 6.1.3?

it also could be something different, if you try google hangounts. change password and log out it still recieves notifications. its how apples handles the "channel" notification system for apps that recieve notifications or do backroung sync, and im sure at some point that security hole will be a hijack point.  i think its called XO auth. and is why it can maintain session even after an apperant logout
if you go to the app and it shows you have logged out but are still recieving notifications then that is evidence of the bug.
also look and find the option for "keep me logged in" i remember in the past that would allow a autologin after logout. also if the app does NOT save the logout status correctly in its "memory" the above refereced system will auto login you with the XO app authentication.
if there really is no keep me logged in option. then what crh24 said, they designed it delibertly to keep you logged in. though i never remember a problem on my ios 6,. are you on ios 7, bunny hop?

  • Problems with Adobe App Manager installation.

When I try to run the Adobe App manager a message appears saying it is corrupted and I need to reinstall it. But when I try to do it another one comes stating that "Adobe App Manager failed to install". What do I need to do to fix this problem?

    Hi,
Could you please follow this step and let me know if it helps.
Rename the OOBE Folder to OOBE.old from this location.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Once done then please download Creative Cloud Desktop App from creative.adobe.com.
Please let me know if it helps.

  • App Manager failure problem

    Hi
I have seen a couple of times that App Manager failed to load the "Catalog" or in the "Uninstall".
It shows "No application found". Then I need to restart my phone then it will work properly again.
Anyone knows why? I checked the Log and it said App Manager failed to work/start something like that (could not recall the whole message)
    Thanks!

If the version of InDesign you are installing is InDesign CC then I would begin by running the uninstaller for the Creative Cloud Desktop application and then reinstalling from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

    Hi,
From the thread that you provided, we can see that this issue was fixed, up to now I haven't heard the same issue, based on your description, this issue was only happening in Chrome, I tested this on my local (create a new website in chrome), it worked as

    Dear Avi Miller,
I have successfully installed both of servers (VM Server 3.0.2 & VM Manager 3.0.2) as below
+ VM Server 3.0.2 on Dell PowerEdge 1950
+ VM Manager 3.0.2 in OEL 6.1 on Sun Fire X4100M2 Server
Refer to Oracle VM Server 3.0 Document, they recommend to do Discover Oracle VM Servers to VM Manager first of all step then do anything else like Creating a Server Pool so I try to do Discover Oracle VM Servers in many times but still not success.
What I try to do Discover Oracle Servers as below:
After I install both already I start to Discover Oracle VM quickly
    1. Log into Oracle VM Manager
    2. Select the Hardware view.
    3. Select Discover from the Actions menu. The Discover Servers dialog box is displayed.
    4. Enter information about the Oracle VM Server(s) to be discovered.
    5. Specify an IP Address (or rang): IP_of VM Server and Click Add
    6. Put password of VM Server Agent
    7. Click OK
Wait a minute the Status of VM Manager show fail and when I click Detail it show as below:
