Problems logging into creative cloud from desktop PC

Hi,
I have been using creative cloud file sync for a few weeks now and it seemed to be working fine.
The other day when i clicked on my creative cloud desktop shortcut I just got a blank adobe creative cloud screen there is nowhere to enter username and password.
I can't seem to work out the issue and need to sync my files again.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards, Matt.

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone can assist still not sure what to do about this problem was thinking about re-installing creative cloud desktop.
I still get a blank white adobe login screen when I try and access creative cloud from my windows 7 laptop to sync files or update my adobe applications (see image below). This login worked fine until about 4 weeks ago.
When I login to creative cloud in my browser my files are there up to the point of the last sync.
I did try and use Adobe chat but they just advised to call customer support on 800-833-6687 but this call would cost a fortune from the UK.
Kind Regards, Matt.

Wrong Email address to log into Creative Cloud Desktop, How do i switch to my email address?

    Hi Hendy20,
If you are not able to proceed to the sign out step trough the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager, please follow the steps below then :
    Delete the OPM.db file :
    Close the Creative Cloud application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.
If you are not able to find that file, please check the following link, that may be because your library is hidden.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html
Please, let us know how it goes.
    Thank you.

I have Lightroom 6 (not CC) on a Windows machine.  I'm prompted to log into Creative Cloud when I restart my computer (I don't have, use, or pay for Creative Cloud), and then when I launch Lightroom, it tells me to use the application I have to log into my Adobe account...AGAIN!  And then to further add insult to injury, I'm prompted to enter in the license number of my product.  I've gone through this process a dozen times now...SCREAM!!!

Paulou12 what type of a Creative Cloud Membership do you have?  You can find details on how to update Lightroom using the Creative Cloud Desktop application at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Finally if you are in a managed environment then please work with your I.T. department to apply the update.

I'm logged into creative cloud, but someone else had logged into Dreamweaver, can I log them out of Dreamweaver and login using my credentials?

I'm using an iMac previously used by a past employee. It is running OS X 10.9.3. Using the CC application, I have logged out of his account and into my own. When using other applications such as Photoshop and After Effects, my account is the one displayed in the menu. When I use Dreamweaver however, the past employee's account is displayed in the menu, and when a sync is attempted, it displays his account info.
Is there a way to use my own credentials to log into Dreamweaver separately from the CC app, or to force a sync between the CC app login and the Dreamweaver login?
    Thanks

  • Problem to download Creative Cloud for desktop

I've just joined to Creative Cloud membership, I've the system MAC OS 10.6.8. My problem is that the download window of creative suite remains always in the same position of download, when I try to switch off the download it doesn't work... I have to restart the system...

    Hello,
in this case I would download a really new trial version of your program(s) in question and change it/them into a "real" version later, BUT because you said, that you "re-installed" already, so it become a little bit complicated. It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".
Here an advice for that (The order varies depending on your individual needs. Please read all my proposals first, so you can better choose the first step:)
    1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html
    2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
    3. You did already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html   and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
    4. If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.htl and if "open" please use the chat, I for may part had the best experiences. I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

    Please perform below given steps:

  • When I log into Creative Cloud, I get message saying I've been Logged out

This is after I Deactivated and uninstalled CS6. Here are the series of events:
    1. I deactivated CS6
    2. I installed CC
    3. After running a while and seeing both CS6 and CC versions on Creative Cloud, I uninstalled CS6
    4. Now, when I try to sign into CC, I get a message saying "You've been logged out", "Please sign in to continue"
5 When I depress the "Sign In" button and sign in, I get the same message, "you've been logged out", "Please sign in to continue" and the "Sign In" button reappears.
The bottom line is I am able to use the programs, but the Creative Cloud application will not let me log in.

I tweeted AdobeCare and got it fixed. Here's how, from their webpage:
    Close the Creative Cloud application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.
They left out one thing: in order to actually get the file to delete, I had to open Task Manager in Windows and right-click on the AAM process and select "End Task". Then the file deleted and the sign in worked. It acted like I was new, but it recognized all of my installed apps. Hope that helps!

  • Problems signing into Creative Cloud (windows 7 64-bit)

When I log in to Creative cloud it automatically signs me out. I have installed the latest version of software from your website today. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Any suggestions?

This is a known isssue and is talked about on the creative cloud forum.  http://forums.adobe.com/community/creative_cloud?view=discussions
Basicly what you need to do is delete the database and restart the manager. Then it will work fine.
