Problems on changing email with my files.

Hi. I've changed months ago my email from my iCloud account but it seems to be created a new one with this new email. In fact when I logged in with my new email from Preferences Panel and removed my old email (same iCloud account), all my files stored in have disappeared (I had stored lots of objective-c code snippets on the app Note!!!). How could I restore them? I've tried to recover my password but Apple did't send me the email.

Thank you, Bifocals. I was able to change my Default email to my rr acct. Yet, when I click on "compose email" I still have "Desktop" as an option. In my Gen Settings and scroll all the way to the bottom, I see "Services: Desktop [[email protected]]" When I click on it there is no option to change it. This particular email "address" is affiliated with my alma mater as part of my membership in the texes-exes. I was told that it would feed directly into my primary email account, which is roadrunner (Outlook). I believe I need to get it off of my Device and have my rr account listed as "desktop." I only use the .net address in instances where people will confuse my email address with my husband's. Does that make sense? I know it is confusing, and I aplogize and appreciate your help. This is driving me nuts!

This may because the attachment is a winmail.dat file. I would recommend taking a look at the article below for more information. Note: the article is written for OS X mail, but does also apply to this situation.

I am not doing it in ITunes, but i did down load the song from ITunes. I loaded the song on to my Nano, but in my menu selections it doesn't show the song or the artist in any search format. However, when i plug in my nano to my PC I see the Nano library on my PC drive listings and that song and artist are there. I can click on the song and it will play in Windows media on my work PC. I did notice that the format for most all the songs in my library on my Nano are MPEG - 4 audio Files.

Problems re-sending emails with attachments

I am using Mail 7,0 with Mavericks.
I am having problems resending emails. When I resend an email with one or more attached files, then I am having a lot of problems because the receiver gets everything scrambled!!, the body text is received as an attachment and all the images or logos included in my signautre are also received as an attachment.
I would thank very much if someone has had the same problem and can help me to solve the problem.

Which antivirus software do you run on your computer? Are there any errors posting? Have you shut off any email firewalls temporarily to attempt to isolate your issue? Do you have outlook 2003 on more than 1 pc in your home? Have your tried to attach a small text file and send it to see if that goes thru successfully?

Bug sending email with Excel file (immediate reply would he helpfull)

 Below is have pasted a sample code where it will sends a email along with an attachtment (xls) .where the email is working perfectly but the xls file attachtment has a blank space in the first line .

Problem in sending email with attachment more than 32kb through utl_mail

Hi friends
I am able to send an email with attachment upto 32kb using utl_mail.
But whenever I increase the size of attachment from 32kb, it prompts me an error.

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small

i have also used LONG RAW instead of RAW, bu still the problem is same.

Yeah that's an issue with UTL_MAIL it only has 3 procedures, and none of them let you send data to the SMTP server incrementally. To send files larger than 32k you will need to switch over to using UTL_SMTP directly or via a helper package such as the [DEMO_MAIL package|http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/pl_sql/htdocs/Utl_Smtp_Sample.html] available from otn.

Not only TXT file, u can send any
other file like word,excel,pdf,exe, etc.
1. There is some trick involved
in the binary files.
2. I have made a program (and it works fantastic)
ONLY 6 LINES FOR EMAILING

Problem of sending email with attachment by SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

Hi experts,
When I sent email with FM 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' with TXT attachment, I found the there were no new line after each row of the content of TXT file attachment . All the rows in the internal table are concatenated into a string without any new line mark. It damaged the format of my attachment.

You need to concatenate your text with l_c_cr_lf (For enter button or new line) after every 255 char to get new line. Below is the code. Let me know in case of ny clarifications.

E-recruiting:problem while sending email with changed smartform

Hi,
There are about 21 forms that have been configured in our E rec systems to send out correspondence to the candidates. When the forms are sent out withougt changes the mail is sent out correctly with a pdf attachment in it. Out of the 21 forms 16 of the forms are changed by the recruiters before the mail is sent out. When we try to change the forms using the 'Change form' option on the portal, the form is available in the html editor. Hence the logo on the form becomes a hyperlink. When the correspondence is sent for changed forms the email has the changed form in the body of the message and we no longer have a pdf attachment in it.
The problem here is that the logo turns into a hyperlink hence candidates external to our systems cannot view the logo.
Please advise how can we send changed form as a pdf attachment.
Full marks will be awarded for any clue.

That is correct, seems you have configured eRecruit to use "HTML editor" and with that changed correspondence cannot go as attachments due to the limitation. There are several OSS notes stating the same.
There is alternate solution "Letter Section", using this changed correspondence is sent as attachments. However, there is limitation with this option as well, that is limited formatting options.
You may have to choose "HTML editor" if you need better formatting options or "Letter Section" if you want to send the correspondence as attachments.

How to use UTL_SMTP to send email with existing file attachment

Hello! I am trying to create a pl/sql procedure that lets me send an email and include an existing file to a email address. So far, I found information on how to send a file and create an attachment with information I put in the procedure. This is NOT what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to send an email and include an attachment for a file that already exists. I need the pre-existing file to be sent to the email recipient.
This is how far I've gotten, but this only allows me to CREATE an attachment with the information I put in it from the procedure. I got it from the following site:

First, you must create a directory object

"fname" relates to the file name that you read from.
In the code below, it is also the name of the file that you are attaching.

[HELP] Send email with attachment files from application server

How can i send email to users with pdf/xls attachment files through job with pl/sql , but the files are on application server.
I've tried using UTL_MAIL but it's not working, cause the file & DIRectory setting should be inside of database server. Should I copy the files from report server to database file system or any other techniques so there's no need to use the physical files?

I've tried the java send mail suggest by alvinder, and i got an error if i fill the Sender parameter with AutoMail :

nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: 553 5.5.4 <AutoMail>... Domain name required
Then i changed the Sender with valid email address :

nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: 501 5.1.8 Domain of sender address [email protected] does not exist
What could be wrong with this? Please help me... since i dont understand java programming :)

Some email with attached files can not be received

email already recieved by my serverhost cannot be downloaded to my computer. It has to do with the attached files. Most of the time large attached files, especially with an Excel file.

Problems sending an email with a field attached.

Hi everyone,
Im having problems with sending an e-mail (with a field attached) to an external e-mail address.
Im using the followings functions:

Everything goes well (the functions are executed well), but the message stacks and it isnt be sent.
I can see it with the transaction SBWP, it is in the folder Exit/Documents with status: Waiting communication service .
Then I can send it from there clicking at the button send. And then it is sent.
Have anyone any clue about what Ive missed to do.
I really appreciate your help; I need to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Ping problem on changing /etc/hostname.e1000g0 file

Hi,
i have something funny problem, that when i change the name of /etc/hostname.e1000g0 file to /etc/hostname.e1000g1 file so that when system gets bootup then interface e1000g1 gets configure with its host name & ip. It boot properly & e1000g1 gets ip also, but the system is now not able to ping any other host.
Why it is so ??

I verified this on my system.Ping is working fine. before rebooting edit the file /etc/hostname.e1000g0 as
x.x.x.x netmask y.y.y.y up
where x.x.x.x is interface IP & y.y.y.y is the subnet mask.
Now change hostname.e1000g0 to hostname.e1000g1 & reboot.Your system should come up with e1000g1 assigned with IP & proper netmask.
before pinging, make it sure that you fall in the same subnet as other hosts.
Note: installation should be done without network.
