Problems with conection bluetoth Nokia E5 X iPod Touch 4 generation

The Bluetooth on the iPod Touch is not designed for connection to phones. It is to enable the use of Bluetooth enabled headphones and some peer-to-peeer gaming.

  • Problems with my downloading app on my iPod touch 4 like when it's downloading I can't pause like I used to be able to and I can't delete it while its downloading ever since I downloaded IOS 6 I have been having problem like these

I also can't tilt on certain apps like I'm able to do so like before I downloaded iOS 6 you know when on certain apps you can tilt your iPod and the screen is going to follow your iPod right. Well I can't do that anymore and it is considerably a lot slower than before and don't tell me it's my iPod that's slower when I had iOS 5 it used to be able to do all this. Somebody got to fix this.

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that points to a hardware problem. Yu can make an appointment at the the Genius Bar of an Apple store or try:

  • Bluetooth to iphone to ipod touch

When trying to bluetooth iPhone with Sons iPod touch. The two devices are unable to connect to each other. Please advise on possible resolution ?
    Thanks

This is not a feature of either device.
You can connect them from within a peer-to-peer app from the apps store for purposes of using that particular app.
Other than that, they will not connect.

  • Can i listen to music threw a bluetooth device with an ipod touch?

I want to listen to music threw a bluetooth device with my ipod touch 4g.  I paired 2 different bluetooth devices with my touch.  The recognized the devices in the bluetooth setting.  Then i went to music tapped the bluetooth icon and only, ipod touch and apple tv were recognized. It didn't list either bluetooth device. So,i couldn't get it to work.

    See:
iOS: Third-party Bluetooth headsets, headphones, and keyboards
Yes, they work if the profile used by the BT device is supported by the iPod. See:

  • HOW  wireless works? I can`t get conected to ANYWHERE WITH THE IPOD TOUCH

I do not know how get into itunes with the ipod touch, or you tube or anywhere. Safari only displays can`t get conected to the server. I have a wireless at home Belkin 54b and i connect 1 PSP,2 Wii, 2 laptops, 1Xbox 360, 2 Nintendo DS and they all work.

I have put in all the wireless information and I have the wirelss signal, but all I get when I try to click on safari or itunes is a error message. The message is can not connect to server. I have 2 laptops and a wireless printer connected and they all work fine. What could be the problem.

  • Problems with ITunes 10 for Windows with Ipod Touch

I have had several problems with my original 16Gb ipod touch since upgrading to ITunes 10. Windows Vista Home Premium. I had no significant problems before ITunes 10.
    1. Numerous apps upgrades fail with an error message (approx) "installation failed because resources have changed." I have searched for information about this, but all I could find relates to developers, not ordinary users. I can upgrade the apps directly, using a wifi link - just not through ITunes 10. (Apps: Dictionary.com, StarWalk, etc.)
    2. After repeated examples of this, I decided to try restoring the ipod. I've done this several times in the past without problems. This time, it repeatedly failed at step 3 of 5, re-installing my music, with "unknown error." The ipod was unusable after this. I eventually had to restore on another computer that still had ITunes 9 installed - that worked, but I lost all me recent data entries. (After successfully restoring using ITunes 9, I tried again with ITunes 10 - same failure.)
    3. Now, all podcasts that I install are played back at an unusable low volume. They are just loud enough to barely hear in a very quiet room, but not loud enough to be usable. The podcasts play fine when played directly in ITunes. Music installed on the ipod plays properly. I have tried using the Podcast option in ITunes to change the volume, but that has no effect. I have tried several speakers and headsets - all the same. Podcasts are probably the most important use of my ipod, and now they are useless. These are popular podcasts, such as CBC's As It Happens - I don't think that the originator would have had an undetected problem for this long.
    Any suggestions?

This symptom could be caused by an unusable iTunes configuration file. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.
    Remove SC Info.sidb file
(This applies to Win7 or Vista)
From the Start menu, click Computer.
In the Organize menu, click Folder and Search Options.
    Click the View tab.
In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected.
    Click OK.
Navigate to the following location by either typing it into the address bar, copying and pasting it into the address bar, or clicking through the folder hierarchy listed: C:\Program Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\SC Info
Right-click the SC Info.sidb file shown and on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
Right-click the SC Info.sidd file shown and on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
Restart the computer and open iTunes.
If this does not work, repair your Quicktime - START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAM and FRAETURES / highlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR

  • Problems after iOS 7.1.2 on Ipod Touch 5th Gen

At about 3 hours ago my Ipod Touch 5th Gen turned off on me. It came back on itself, so I accessed the lock screen correctly put my password in and thats where my problems started.
I put in the correct password it accepted it.
The screen then changed to my background screen colour.
Very quickly the screen went black and the apple logo came on (as if it was turning on)
I repeated the process again and I can not access my home screen or any of the apps. It repeats itself.
I've had all my apps crash on me ever since I downloaded the iOS 7.1.2 update.
On the lock screen I can still access the flash light and both cameras?
    What I have tried:
    Turning it on and off.
    Charging it.
    Plugging it into iTunes.
Reset where I hold the lock and home button.
    Nothing works.
Its a 32gb Ipod touch 5th gen with about 6gb of storaged unused.
I haven't dropped it or done anything unusual.
At the time it crashed I was playing on Farmville 2 app. This app crashes alot could it have something to do with it?
Please someone help me, I've googled it and can't find any problem like mine on here!
I've only had it 7 months.
    Thanks,
    Nadia

    Then do this:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
       1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
       2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
                  * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
      3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
      4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
      5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
      6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
    Additional Information:
If you have a problem getting into recovery mode then try: RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode.
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

    Hi,
I would like to play the Shrek Kart Game in the multiplaye modus. Therefore I have to connect my two iPod touch via bluetooth. Unfortunately they don`t find one another.
    Who can help?
    THANKS!

so the only was is to use the cable to connnect it from my notebook to Ipod touch??
depends. for syncing and software updates: yes.
for putting e.g. MS Office files or .pdf files on it: check out e.g. _*Flash Drive*_ or _*Documents To Go*_. both require a wi-fi connection, though.
what about if I download any bluetooth program from the App Store ( For Example: iBlueNova ).
searching the app store for iBlueNova did not bring up anything for me. instead, search for +bluetooth fileshare+. maybe that app is for you ...

  • Bluetooth head phones on iPod touch

I just bought a 3gen iPod touch and the thing will not pair with my Logitech bluetooth headphones (model #f-0361a). I called apple care did some trouble shooting that did not work, and was informed that the iPod did not have correct bluetooth profile to work with the headphones. I have to say this is quite lame, the headphones pair with my Mac Book Pro and my blackberry. The applecare specialists comment that the headphones were old and Apple could not be expected to make their product work with everything was exceptionally annoying. How can you make an mp3 player with bluetooth that doesn't pair with headphones? Apple fix this and fix your house. You are becoming extremely annoying, by not listening to your customers needs and doing things like arbitrarily making all of my chargers incompatible isn't helping. I may never buy another manufacturers computer, but I don't feel quite the same loyalty to any of apples other products.

You are not addressing Apple here. We are ipod users like you.
Relax. Might you be over reacting a touch.
Do the headphones not come with a receiver?
If they do, then use the receiver.
Go to the logitec forum and see if someone has an answer.
Call logitec and see if they can help.

  • Hook up bluetooth to 3rd generation ipod touch

i need HELP!!!Ive been trying to hook up my samsung bluetooth to my ipod 3rd generation and its just not working.i have read some of the comments people have put and i have even watched like 20 vidoes and none of them helped.

    What is the samsung bluetooth?
Assuming it is a BT headset (mic and headphone), what BT profiles does it support?  Most BT headset supportthe Hands Free Profiles which is only supported by the 4G iPod.  The 3G supports the A2DP profile which is mainly for BT headphones.  See:

  • Problems with syncing music from PC to Ipod touch 4 G

Hi, added new music to iTunes and then I tried to sync it with my iPod (touch 4g) but I didn't succeed. It seemed that Itunes runs properly showing following information: ”starting  synchronization”, “preparing for synchronization”, “establishing programs to synchronize”, “synchronizing” and at end “syncing completed” (ad hoc translation form Polish) but without any result which means no file was transferred, What went wrong? That was my second attempt to sync ipod with PC computer. First one was successful, all files were transferred automatically without any problem. The last thing which I tried to do before second syncing attempt was request for downloading missing covers for albums. Do you have any idea what happened? Thanks for help in advance.

When the instructions say restore from backup the iPod will also be updated.

  • What bluetooth protocol does the iPod Touch use with a keyboard?

    Hi...
Say, does anyone know what bluetooth protocol apple is using for their bluetooth keyboards for the iPhone and iPod Touch? It is probably HID, but the people at RIM (i.e. BlackBerry) use SPP. So I would think many 3rd party keyboards use SPP (Serial Port Protocol). But, then, there are many posts about "I wish Apple would support SPP" because people want to build apps that interface with external HW that only supports SPP.
What I want to do? (you ask)
I've one of these nice / expensive Think-out-side portable folding keyboards (good). That only has a serial interface (bad). There are many bluetooth "dongles" out there with serial ports (good). But they only support SPP or Serial Port Protocol (bad? maybe? depends).
See, I know RIM (BlackBerry) people support SPP on their devices. But I haven't heard (found) word one about what the iPod Touch supports. I would hate to spend $80 on one of these dongles and find out it doesn't work.
So, what does the iPod Touch use when talking to the bluetooth keyboard?
    -thanks

From page 37 of iOS 4.1 Touch Users Guide:
    Using an Apple Wireless Keyboard
    For ease of typing, you can use an Apple Wireless Keyboard (available separately;
iPod touch 3rd generation or later).
Regarding the original questions, the BT profiles supported by the Touch arelisted here:

  • Problem syncing iPhoto 6 pics to my iPod touch...it adds an extra folder

Not sure which product forum to post this on, but here I go.
I'm ending up with way too many photos on my iPod. When I sync my iPod touch in iTunes it asks for the source of pictures so I select iPhoto. Then it asks which specific albums I want to sync. I select a few of them.
When I open the photo function on the touch it shows all the specific albums I selected PLUS it adds one that it calls "Photo Library" which has a variety of my iPhoto library pics...
How can I get rid of it???
