Problems on connecting FT audio between 4s and 6 twice in last 2 weeks.
Has anybody else encounted this problem, I have 4s and my son (in USA) has 6. He normally calls on way to work using bluetooth in his car and we chat on FT audio. Works well for since about October last year now seem not to. Before I get him to admit his car bluetooth or wifi is not working. I wanted to make sure there is not conflicts between the 2 operating systems!

Hey RGD VLB,
Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, two iOS devices are not able to connect using FaceTime. You want to know if the OS could be the problem? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
This article covers different things that might be causing an issue.
If you can't make or receive FaceTime calls - Apple Support
Update both devices (your device and your friend's device) to the latest version of iOS.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Have a good one,
Mario

  • (MacOSX Lion 10.7.4) The problem of connecting the audio interface (USB and FireWire), grained acoustic distortion!?

When you connect the audio interface to usb or firewire grained acoustic distortion, there is no loud noise in the acoustics! In the old "iMac24 Snow Leopard" was not like this!
Just bought the iMac21 lion, installed the new drivers and the two interfaces of different firms is presented, this acoustic problem.
I understand it comes from a usb and firewire!?
    Help Me_____
    Sorry for my english

Well, it's been a few days and with no response I thought I'd look for another solution. I've been trying this software called iVPN, apparently it's like a front-end to OS X's built-in VPN server. Anyway, I disabled the VPN Server from the Server app, turned on iVPN and was VPN-ing from my iPhone over 3G in notime. It's a great app, though it kinda ***** that the server can't do what it's built to do. Since VPN was the big reason I got Server in the first place, I'll probably uninstall it and stick with OS X's built-in file sharing and iVPN.

  • Difference  Between Provide and RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST  in ABAP-HR

what is the Difference Between Provide and RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST  IN hR. IF I want to retrieve data in BETTWEEN BEGDA AND ENDDA. what these 2 ill return.
Both ill return the LAtest record. plz  let me know what ill happen.
      With Regards,
       Venkata Suresh K

PROVIDE is like a loop statement and it reads records between BEGDA and ENDDA. There is a lot to it, you can read doc...
RP-PROVIDE-.. _> This is like read table.
It is similar to : Sort itab descending. read itab index 1.
If you want data between BEGDA and ENDDA and you have 2 internal tables, you can use PROVIDE. Otherwise, you can use a normal LOOP statement. Provide is helpful if you want to get data from more than 1 table.
For eg: Infotype 0000 has 2 records from 1.1.2000 to 1.1.2006, and 2.1.2006 to 31.12.9999, and Infotype 0185 has 1 record from 1.1.2005 to 31.12.9999.
If you use a provide BETWEEN BEGDA and endda in this case, it will run through the loop 3 times with these dates :
    1.1.2000 to 31.12.2004.
    1.1.2005 to 1.1.2006
    2.1.2006 to 31.12.9999
If a record is not there in one of the internal tables during the date, there is a PNNNN_VALID flag which is filled up (4.6c) and in mySAP onwards, you have explicit valid flags.
Hope it helps. Please reward points if helpful.
    Regards.

  • Difference between RP_PROVIDE_FROM_LAST and RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST

Can anyone tell me the difference between RP_PROVIDE_FROM_LAST and RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST?  Both the macros are same difference is with underscore(_) and hiphen(-).  Both are working fine for the functionality without any difference.  Then why there are two macros for a single functionality?

Just providing the links are considered as link farming ( which are against the rules of the forums ), the links would be removed for the following reasons:
    1) If a link is provided( not many ) , then you must point out the explanation in it
    2) If the links were easily searchable by the OP
    3) If the links just direct you to sap documentation
    4) If the reply consists only bunch of link references.
I think the 3rd & 4th point made your post to be deleted.
There are no links which states the differences between these two Macro's. Mod's are doing their right job, please join them and make this forum clean

  • I have problem to connect iChat. Sometime work and some time not working. When it was not working, there was a message on screen and said the mobile be server was not working. I needed to turn off computer and restarted the computer. Then it might. work

    To whom it may help,

However, After Mobil Me account closed, I accounted connection problems frequently. Sometime, I had to turn-off my computer then re-started the computer to make it work again. . When I had this problem to connect on iChat (the Mac did not allow me to choose "available"), the poped out window message said that " the iChat lost the Mobil Me account [email protected]" "The server connection was unexplected disconnect". Do you know what is my problem? My Apple ID for iCloud and previous Mobil Me account should be [email protected] I am no longer using [email protected] for Mobil Me e-mail address. My current iCloud e-mail address is [email protected] is no longer of using [email protected] account for my e-mail. If this is the problem, please let me know how to remove the [email protected] account from your system. Thanks!

  • The problem about Secure Reliable Messaging between WCF and Weblogic

I'm doing a project for testing the interoperability between WCF and Weblogic with secure reliable messaging.
When WCF client talk to Weblogic service with Secure Reliable feature enabled. We got error when CreateSequence, the error message is below:
The incoming message was signed with a token which was different from what used to encrypt the body. This was not expected.
The remote endpoint requested an address for acknowledgements that is not the same as the address for application messages. The channel could not be opened because this is not supported. Ensure the endpoint address used to create the channel is identical to the one the remote endpoint was set up with.
My understanding is that the client accepted the RSTR from weblogic (so both sides now share the secure conversation token) and moved on to CreateSequence (and failed due to config mismatches). But I don't how the error happen and how to get it fixed.
-- below is the wsdl you are using --
    Any ideas about it?

    Hi Michael,
The short answer, at this time, OOTB, WS-RM interop with an unknown

Thank you Bruce. I will look at these docs.

    Hello,

Recently we have received a request/query on providing reliable SOAPmessaging

I have read the documentation on Reliable messaging support and havenoted that
it is only supported between two WebLogic Application servers.
My questions are, since we do not have control of the 3rd party's application,
and it may not be based on a WebLogic App Server:
    1. Will this work?
    2. Does anyone have any idea of the type of issues that may be experienced?
    3. How close is the implementation to the WS Reliable Messaging specification?
So, if the other party was based on an IBM or Microsoft implementationis this
    likely to work?
It goes without saying that any work done would need to be very throughlytested
    and qualified.
I have looked through the WebLogic Documentation on WebServices aswell as searching
this newgroup for other posts on this topic, hopefully I have not missedanything
    (If so, my apologies.)

  • Lost notes after my iPad didn't back up for 2 weeks due to lack of space in the iCloud, bought extra space today and no notes from last 2 weeks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Lost notes from last 2 weeks, coincides with when I began receiving iCloud notification that iPhone 5 and iPad 2 could not be backed up due to limited space.  Purchased additional space on iCloud today and still no notes.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Problem setting up shared printer between PC and Mac with 10.6

I am trying to setup a shared printer between my Mac and PC. I have a HP K80 attached to my PC (which has Vista Home Premium). I have a Macbook pro with 10.6. I have shared the printer on the PC side. From the Mac I have added the printer via Windows Printer sharing, but for some reason I cannot print to the printer. Everytime I try to print, the job just pauses. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks I installed the gutenprint drivers and tried this, and now all working:
    http://guides.macrumors.com/Printingto_a_Shared_PCPrinter
Printing to a Shared PC Printer
This article describes how to print from Mac OS X to a shared printer connected to a Windows XP machine. It assumes the computers are already networked and that you can access the PC's files. These instructions are relevant for Mac OS X 10.2 upwards. The instructions may work with Vista. I don't have the means to try it.
    1. Find the IP address of your PC - go on Start > Run. Type in cmd and click run. Now type in ipconfig /all and hit enter. This should give you the machine's IP address.
    2. Share the printer. Open up Printers and find the one you want to share. Right-click and choose Share. Now click the 'Share this printer' radio button. Now choose a sharing name. Keep it simple - e.g. HP, Office, PC etc.
    3. Open a web browser on your Mac and type localhost:631 in the address bar
    4. You should now have the Common UNIX Printing System web interface up. Click the 'Add Printer' link.
    5. Type a name for the printer, making sure you don't include /, # or space characters. Click continue.
    6. Select Windows Printer via SAMBA from the Device list and click continue.
    7. For the URI, you need to include a username and password for an account on your PC. You then need to enter a URI in the following format: smb://username:password@ipaddress/printer. So for example smb://johndoe:[email protected]/HP
    8. Choose your printer's make, or if you have a PPD file for the printer, choose that. Click continue and choose your printer's model. Now click Add Printer.
    9. Done! You now have a list of options for changing the various properties of the printer.
You don't need to be on the same workgroup or domain as your PC, just the same subnet. If both your Mac and PC are connected to the same router, either wired or wirelessly, then you should be on the same subnet.
    Thanks guys

  • HotSynch Connection gets lost between TE2 and Windows Vista

I'm trying to hotsync (by bluetooth) between my Tungsten E2 and Windows Vista. I got them speaking to each other, but the hotsync starts and never gets past the Calendar. The laptop looks like it's still running, but the TE2 hotsynch log says the connection was lost.
Is there a way to keep them connected long enough to sync?
The TE2 is running Palm OS Garnet v. 5.4.7 and HotSync v. 5.0P
The laptop is running Windows Vista 7 64 bit, HotSync Manager 7.0.2 and Palm Desktop 6.2.2.
    Thanks!
    Post relates to: Tungsten E2

Oh, yeah, one more thing..the hotsync works fine by USB cable on the desktop PC running Windows XP, so I don't think there's any corrupted databases on the TE2 (because if there was, then the USB cable hotsync wouldn't work)

  • Lost audio between AIM and IChat

    Hello.
Up until a few days ago I was able to engage in A/V chats with my dad. I have an IMac G5 using IChat and he has a PC with AIM 5.9. For some unknown reason, I no longer get audio when we connect. I can see him and he can see and hear me, but his audio is gone. Any ideas??

    Hi Ralph.
Walked my dad through the re-tune procedure in the link. All went well, and during the microphone tune the lighted input bar responded as it should. All indications are that his microphone is working fine. Unfortunately, I still get no audio from him.
One note of interest. When we first establish an IChat video connection, there usually is a bit of speaker hiss on my end - as if the the PC microphone is connected and ready to transmit audio. However, the minute either one of us begins to talk, the speaker hiss is instantly silenced and I get no audio from him. Then nothing but silence.
I was beginning to suspect that his microphone/camera was defective. However, given that the tuning procedure seemed successful, I'm not so sure.
    Any more ideas?
    Regards, Michael

  • Problem getting connection to work with WRT54G and iPod Touch 4G

Hi, I just recently received a brand new iPod Touch 4G and I seem to be having connection troubles with it.  This has also happened on my previous iPod (an iPod Touch 1G).  This router has a pretty old firmware from like 2006.  The problem is not that I can connect to the router and get the ipod to show the checkmark, but it is that I cannot get any network connection through the router.  I have a Windows 7 laptop that connects perfectly fine using the router.  Also, I believe my Nintendo DS Lite can connect flawlessly as well.  I noticed that there seems to be a bit of trouble with Apple products connecting to Linksys routers in general.  Does anyone know what may be causing my connection issues?  When I got my iPod Touch 1G, it wouldn't connect from the get-go so I just ignored it and used the wifi at my university whenever I went there during the day.
If I need to provide any technical information, I can because I have access to the setup for the router.  Thanks. :-)

Try changing the security mode to WEP and see if that works.
Open the setup page of the router.
Click on Wireless tab and go to Wireless MAC filter sub tab. Make sure that Wireless MAC filter is disabled on the router.
Try to upgrade the firmware on your router.
Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the router.
Download the latest firmware from Linksys website and save it on your computer. Open the setup page of the router. Click on Administration tab and go to Firmware upgrade sub tab. Browse the firmware file that you have already downloaded and upgrade it on your router.
After upgrading the firmware on the router, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure it. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 10 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it.
Change some advanced wireless settings on the router. Click on Wireless tab and go to Advanced wireless settings. Change the Beacon interval to 75, RTS threshold to 2307 and fragmentation threshold to 2306. Save the settings.

  • Move audio between GarageBand and iTunes on iPad WITHOUT syncing to a computer?

Is it possible to transfer audio on my iPad from GarageBand to iTunes WITHOUT syncing with a computer?  Specifically, I would like to edit some audio for an iMovie project.  I feel like I should be able to take an audio track from iTunes, chop it in GarageBand, send it back to iTunes, and then use it in iMovie without being dependent on a separate machine.  Am I dreaming too big here?

I guess I wasn't completely understanding what exactly you would like to do. The article HT4972 refers to updating your software, and you are right it does not explain how to back up the contents of your ipad and restore and there should be a link within the article for that. The following article we explain how to restore your ipad software and there's link to an article expalining how to back up. Make sure your version of itunes is completely up to date, and the computer for that matter. Connect your ipad to the computer, open the summary page and choose backup to this computer.
(go to #5 for restoring from a previous backup)
