Problems playing itunes videos continuosly in Full Screen

Hi guys,
I have a small problem. I started to buy Videos in itunes music store and building my own MTV. So far, so good. My problem started when I started to buy some DVDs, converting the videos to MP4 format and then adding them to my itunes library. I have kept the same resolution than the original itunes videos, but I have changed the frame rate to have a little bit more quality.
When I select a video, iTunes plays it in full screen (as it is selected in the preferences). If the second video is another original iTunes, it continues in full screen. But as soon as one of the non iTunes videos starts, it goes to the main window and plays the video in the small section at the bottom-left of the screen (selected as "Now Playing"). Then, the next video goes back to full screen, even if it is a non-itunes one. It is very anoying since I have to put it back in Full screen manually.
Does anybody have the same issue? I am using the last release and patch level of Mac OS and itunes. I think that it might be related with the way that I imported the videos (using Handbrake 7). May be I need to use exactly the same format that Apple uses in itunes. Does anybody knows the exact video format that Apples uses? Do you think that it may be related with issue?
One last point. I have experienced the same problem in two different Macs. One Power PC and one Intel... I have already given up...

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!
I too was experiencing non-full screen playback between music videos / movies. I discovered that this only happened if I had en EQUALIZER setting for the music video / movie. Once I had NONE as the EQUALIZER setting my music videos / movies all played back full screen from one to the next.
Change your settings in the equalizer column as suggested and see if this works for you. It solved my problem, although I do not have my desired equalizer settings in operation!

When i export from lightroom slideshow and choose the 1920x1080 resolution the end product is a very small video in the middle of a black background. i have double checked and do not have any borders turned on. Another option would be to export from the library but lr mogrify does not seem to put text overlays on video either. Any input would be welcome.

Hide video before going full screen

I have a button which launches a video and is set to play full screen. How can I hide the video prior to full screen playback? I've tried putting it off stage, but that doesn't work. Hiding it on the layer also doesn't work.
Any ideas?

Yes, Mohammed, that was the trick!
So, I am doing some pretty nifty navigation with masked image sequences which are on auto play and looping, the mask is also a button which launches the video. This is also a great way to draw attention to a particular item on the page.
Anyway, I'm wondering if you know a work around to this - whenever a video is launched and user returns to the page, the image sequences are no longer looping. Is there a way around this? If not, future feature request! ;-)

This could be several things, but let's get the obvious ones out of the way, first:
1. Judging from your text, there's no problem with anything stuck in the mechanism; it's more an issue of no being to put in a disk. In other words, you're sure that there isn't a disk stuck in your MBP. (That happens a lot for all computers.)
2. Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility, and repair the disk. This should take under 10 minutes.
3. Perform the procedure outlined here:

Oh, unless you shot tall.
If you shoot vertical/tall video it cannot be zoomed all the way out in the exit.
Shoot wide, or edit in a different editing app.

Playing iTunes videos to a personal DVD player

I'd like to play iTunes videos on my DVD player. I copied them on to a USB, then tried to play them on the DVD player. But they show up as "MPEG4" files and a red circle with a line through it appears. Guess that means it's a No Go. Any suggestions? Advice? Help? Thanks.

Well, I wondered...I tried playing the videos off the USB while it was plugged into my computer, and the video file in iTunes opened. Does that make sense to you? Yes, they do play on my iPod, but I hear you telling me I am NOT going to be able to play them on the DVD player. I also tried burning them onto a DVD disc, but that didn't work either.

Playing ITunes video on TV

I have a laptop that does not have a S video or composite video out. So in order to play video from my laptop on a TV I need to purchase something. I'm considering getting a wireless media adaptor. Will I be able to play ITunes videos on this type of device?

Apple themselves sell a DVI to coax/Svideo adaptor. Results were acceptable. I used one to display the desktop of my MacMini on my TV until I got a new HDTV with DVI input. You may need a mini DVI version on your iBook (Guess I'm being presumptious there...).

Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 Vista 32bit video driver (NVidia) full screen video problem

Hi, would appreciate an update from Lenovo about this.
The NVidia VGA driver just displays a blank screen when playing video in full screen mode when hardware acceleration is turned on (the default setting). Obviously it's a pain to turn off the hardware acceleration just to get full screen video working.
There is a generic version of the driver available from Nvidia but they advise not to use it as the oem versions are apparently modified for features like turning the screen off when the lid is closed. Maybe someone's tried the generic NVidia driver and can let me know if it's worth a go. Ideally it would be nice to hear if Lenovo are aware of the problem and are going to release an update.

Problems with itunes videos playing on NVidia Graphics/SATA controllers FIX

Hi folks just wanted to let you know there is a hotfix for all you folks that have a Vista Computer that has Nvidia Graphics cards GEFORCE series, and Nvidia SATA Drive Controllers.... Go to this website and do al the hoit fixes listed there... http://www.nvidia.com/object/windowsvistahotfixes.html
This will update the firmware for your graphics card and some vista incompatibility issues. Not all of the hotfixes may apply to your system however try downloading all four and it will tell you if it applies to your system or not after you try to install them. After that go to your Control panel and go to device manager and go to your storage card section.. Click on the Nvidia SATA controller device click on the driver section and click on update driver... this will bring up a screen that asks you to have the computer search for the correct driver "click it". It will search the internet for you and download the NEW SATA driver you will have to restart after downloading. THEN go back into the control panel again and make sure the driver is updated to 7/2007 if not reapeat the update driver part. It will then pull the information from your hard drive and the driver will be installed. It takes like 4 seconds to do this... then restart your system and all the problems have been fixed... this works with quicktime in itunes video problems as well as the kodak camera video problems.. I hope this helps it worked great for me..... Good Luck...

I've experienced a similar problem with my mid-2010 MBP freezing when on battery power. I've traced the problem to gfxCardStatus switching the GPU to the Intel HD when there are still dependencies for the NVIDIA 330. I stopped using the application and seems to have solved the problem.
I agree that the problem is prevelant on Lion and didn't occur in Snow Leopard. Your advice to turn off the AGS feature in Energy Saver is a smart one, at least until engineering at Apple resolves this problem, since both gfxCardStatus and AGS are doing the same graphics card switching without reference to actual need of the running apps.
