Problems playing music in Honda with iOS 7

Honda say phone is unsupported device since I've installed iOS 7. And suggestions

I work for Honda and have used my iPhone in a 2012 Honda Civic with no issues. Try to hard reset the phone and see if that helps.
I know at times when the iPhone I am using was on iOS 6.1.3 and I would connect to an Alpine CD player is would not register, I would simply disconnect and reconnect to it and then it would be fine.
When you are dealing with these kind of systems and they can get out of sync with each other is where you would run into this problem. You will have to disconnect and reconnect to reinitialize the syncing of the two systems.

  • Problems playing music in iTunes with Front Row

    Hey Everyone,
For some reason when I try and use itunes in front row I either get a message saying "iTunes is not responding" or "this music is not authorized to play on this machine" all the music on my mac IS authorized to me...I dont know why its doing this. Somebody please help me.
BTW I do have the latest version of itunes....
    Thanks

Elsewhere in this forum I've read that if your music is on an external drive you need to first EJECT the drive from the finder then, using disk utility, MOUNT the drive. This worked for me one time. Then I deleted my iApps preference and my frontrow pref and this trick hasn't worked.

  • Is anyone having problems playing music on their iPhone? At times, particularly when you've got headphones in songs sound like a badly scratched CD, continually skipping in various sections of the song. Problem occured post-IOS 5 update.

  • Problems playing music on Sony ICF-C1iP docking station

Had this docking station a couple of years and it's great, but since i downloaded the latest i-tunes on Friday I can't play music through it with my i-phone (but my phone still charges and an old old i-pod still works) - has anyone else had problems, is it anything to do with the update or not, any ideas?

Downloaded i-phone 4.1 at it seems to have resolved the issue.

  • Music App Issues with iOS 5

Ever since I've updated to iOS 5, I am having issues with the Music app. First issue is that when playing songs in a playlist, the music will just stop playing although the "play" icon is still active. The second issue is that the app will just crash when playing music in a playlist. Anybody else have this problem?

Sounds like something got corrupted with the update process, try:
    1- Power off/on.
    2- Reset
    3- Restore from backup
4- Restore, then load last backup
5- Restore, then set up as new iPhone
Hopefully one of the first 3 will work since they're fast.  The 5th one is the last resort since you'll have to re-do everything on your phone.

  • Problem Playing music videos

I just bought the Apple TV and downloaed 76 music videos along with a playlist for the videos. I go through the menu to play the music video Playlist. I have 2 problems here.
1 - Within the playlist, the shuffle feature won't work. I get a message that says the song can't be played.
2 - When I select and play the first song on the playlist it plays fine but when it is over I have to manually play the next song...which *****. hat am I doing wrong - or what do I need to do to have the ATV play the entire playlist of music videos without my intervention?
    HP   Windows XP

I agree this is crazy, and surely an easy fix for Apple. It's also a problem in Frontrow which I'd hoped would be fixed for Leopard. Perhaps it will be, but given that Frontrow 2.0 is meant to be identical to the Apple TV interface I'm not too hopeful.
Here's something interesting though... try a google search on "front row playlist popcorn". What you get as the top hit is a link to Apple's page on the iMac, which includes the line "hit play and pass the popcorn". Fine. BUT... look at the google preview of the page before you click on that link. It says something different: "Put together a humorous video playlist and pass the popcorn."
Looks like the page once contained false advertising and was then edited by Apple. Even they're copy writers couldn't believe they had to check whether it played video playlists!

  • No sound when playing music through dock with third party apps

    Hello,
When I try to play music on my Iphone (3G, OS 3) through dock connected external speaker devices (like the B&W Zeppelin) using third party apps, i get no sound at all. Example of external third party apps are : wifi radios, alarm-clock programs, video viewers,...
So i get no sound at all through the dock connector using that kind of apps. Sound is ok only with Ipod, Itune (or other apple apps).
Has anyone encountered similar problems ? Any solution would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

I have done that from the first day (contacting the makers of 3rd party apps)- They say they use standard components provided by Apple. So I would like to know if anybody has succeded in listening, for example, any internet radio app though a dock station connection (zeppelin, or whatever speaker system that is not using the jack), or is this functionnaly actually blocked by Apple.
    Thanks for your answers.

  • Problems Playing Music Files...

When I try to play music in iTunes, the progress diamond moves, but there is not sounds. Videos work properly, and the music files play in other applications (WMP, Real, and Quicktime). I have read the help articles in the Apple Support section and a few similar posts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

Thanks so MUCH for writing AGAIN. Obviously, you're not understanding my problem.
Please check this thread: http://forums.creative.com/creativel...id=24057#M5295?for your personal research purposes. It's pretty frustrating when someone who has never experienced the same computer problem as you tells you it'scan/cannot be experiencing. I bought an X-FI Xtreme Audio last night, just to compare...put it in, and voila...mono files correctly upmixed with CMSS-3D.
?...anyways, enough is enough. But PLEASE don't be so PRESUMPTUOUS next time. Michael

  • Problems playing music on iPhone5

What's going on? When I play music loaded on my iPhone 5 through the "Music" app that comes with the phone my songs first of all, don't play in the order they are listed in the playlists, and second they often stop in the middle and jump to another song or even jump back to the beginning of the same song that has been playing when the "jump" occurs. I DO NOT HAVE "SHUFFLE" SELECTED in settings. Even if I did, why do songs stop before they end and jump to another song. It's acting like "shuffle" has been asked for, but it has NOT.
Is there something in settings or elsewhere that needs to be set so that songs play in order and play completely without being cut off? As things stand now, playing music on my iPhone is frustrating to the point of being useless to even try.

Never mind. I think I figured it out, thanks to reading threads by other who report the same problem.

  • TS1538 I have an iPod Touch IOS 4.2.1 that Windows 7 home premium can't see.  Says there's a driver problem.  My other one with IOS 5.1.1 works on the same cable and computer. I don't know where to go.

I have an iPod Touch with 4.2.1 that won't connect to my Windows 7 Home Premium laptop.  It gives a "USB Device Not Recognized" error when I plug it in to a USB port.  My wife's (newer) iPod Touch with IOS 5.1.1 works just fine with no errors.  I'm using the same port - I just moved the cable from one iPod to the other. I've tried the various different drivers using Update Drivers.  I let it search the internet and it says "The best driver software is already installed", but the device shows as "Unknown Device".  I did the browse my computer, unchecked the "Show compatible hardware", and selected Apple, Inc..  There were two Apple iPod USB Drivers.  One was 6.0.9999.53 and the other was 6.0.9999.61.  Neither of these works.  I'm thinking that the maybe I need to upgrade the iPod touch software version - but I don't know how to get to it.  Can this be loaded over WiFi?  Any other ideas?

    Does the iPod work OK?
Does it charge when connect to the computer?
Does it appear in My Computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Compare with the iPod that does work/connect.
I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1

    iPod touch (3rd generation)
iPod touch (3rd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 32 GB or 64 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.
The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.

  • Lumia 925 volume problem playing music

when playing music the volume decreases after 15-20 minutes, I have to keep increasing volume so i can hear anything. Using headphones I have to increase volume to 30 for reasonable sound, but only happens after 15-20 minutes...soft reset does not help. Hardware issue or software? Anyone had this problem? It did happen once after a warning on screen about hearing damage at high volume...

It is not a software or hardware fault/bug. It is a generic warning. I hear music at volume 15-18 and it very audible, as I use a noise cancelling ear-phones I don't have to increase the volume higher when I'm outside.

  • Problem Playing music in iTunes

Hi. I play music directly from iTunes on my computer quite a bit. Recently I've noticed that the last 5-10 seconds of a song are cut off as iTunes skips to the next song on the playlist. It's become a big annoyance. Has anyone heard of this before/knows how to fix it. Or, is it just one of those quirks that Apple will never get around to fixing?
    Thanks.

Downloaded/purchased music usually delivers as DRMed files: afaik the only solution is to burn those tracks from MusicMatch to an AudioCD + re-import the resulting CD into iTunes.

  • Bluetooth connection problem in '13 Subaru Legacy with iOS 8.1

Bluetooth for my '13 Legacy has ALWAYS automatically connected to my Bluetooth stereo for car with my prior iPhone 5, iOS 7-iOS 8. After I upgraded to iPhone 6 with iOS 8-8.0.2 Bluetooth never connected automatically and when trying to connect from iPhone settings it would take up to 3 tries for it to connect, currently this issue seems to be resolved (needs more time). Before 8.1 I had to use stereo option to manually connect right away. After 8.1 update I still can not connect automatically.

checked today the subaru canada website, iphone 5s, ios 8 is LISTED NOT COMPATIBLE FOR INCOMING/HANDSFREE DIALING
