Problems printing from LR 4.4 to Epson printer

Mac 10.9.5; Lightroom 4.4; I just got an Epson Printer Stylus Photo R2000; when I print from LR it will only print a 5x7 rectangle of the picture and not the whole thing; trying to print letter size or larger; set all sizes correctly. Printer prints whole page from Apple programs but not from Light Room; I spent an hr with Epson who initially said it was an apple problem; spent another hour with Apple support which got the printer printing correctly from Apple programs but it continues to have same problem from Lightroom. So Apple said it's an Adobe problem. What do I do to get LR to work correctly?

I am back and still having trouble with Lightroom. Someone suggested I downgrade to LR 4.1 (from 4.4) but that didn't help. To reiterate: I have a MacBook Pro, using 10.9.5. I got a new Epson Stylus Photo R2000 printer and LR is having trouble communicating with the printer. When I try to print a letter size (or other size) picture, a 5x7 partial tile of the picture prints off center bleeding to the top. The only way I can print a whole picture is the size it 5x7; then it prints the whole picture but it is still off center, not as it appears in LR print view. I have talked with Epson who said I had Mac conflicts; I spoke with Mac who got rid of the conflicts so it can print fine from Apple programs like Pages, or the internet. It is only LR that won't print right. Obviously I got a photo printer to print photos so I would like help resolving this. It has been very frustrating that although I could talk with both Apple and Epson support, when I tried to contact Adobe both by phone and Live chat I was told that LR is not supported except on this forum. this is exactly the kind of response i expected, almost begged support to please not do this to me and yet there it is another meaningless, non helpful, standard template response to restart my apple tv.
this does NOT work which is why i am contacting you. i have tried all suggestions about unplugging and restarting and nothing works.
i live in an apartment and logon to the provided wifi wireless. so i do not have access to a router. however, management says they have talked with their provider and have been assured that the required ports are available.
remember all the jokes about how bad windows was because the solution was always to re boot. funny huh? how is apple any different.
i have been to the local apple care store and they are clueless, too.

Did you check software update or App Store to see if the printer is among
those Epson models who may have an update download available now?
Of course, some of these printers, even though wi-fi, may require the wire
to set them up for first-use, to be identified. Both my Epsons appear twice,
for wi-fi and again with USB. So I named each appearance, different. So it
is possible to tell in more than one way, which setup that was selected. A few
features do not correctly work in instances where drivers differ.
The latest Epson update helped my newer computer connect to oldest Epson.
Even though a 1.3GB huge Epson drivers file did not help, & OS X didn't see it.
Hopefully the they included an adequate quick-setup guide, though that may
have been for Mavericks, etc. Yet your iPhoto issue may be something else.

Problems to print from Flex to a dot matrix printer

I'm having problems when a try to print from Flex in a dot
matrix printer. With ink jet printer there's no problem-
the problem is that it shrinks the printing, and adds a
column of dots at the end. I mean it splits the page in 2, first
the shrinked data, and on the other side, a column of dots, i don't
know if this is a problem between Flex and dot matrix
printers.

If your printer is Aiprint capable you only have to go to the share tab, click it and you should see the name of your printer. Most AirPrint printers are very easy to set up. My HP recognized my wireless network when I turned it on and I simply followed the printers prompts to finish the setup. Apple has a list of AirPrint capable printers. Is yours on the list? As a alternate you can buy devices like xPrintServer by Lantronix which are supposed to allow you to use your existing printer. The device is hard wired to your printer but communicates wirelessly with your idevice.
Other options have companies like HP have services that basically allow you to send your material you want to print to HP and they in turn route it to your printer.

Can't print from a windows pc to network printer

I am having a network printer problem.
I have a Canon printer plugged into the usb port of my Mac-Mini. I can print fine from the Mac to the printer. I have network sharing enabled for the printer.
I have a Dell PC connected to an Airport Express via internet cable as part of my network.
I have bonjour installed on the Dell
Bonjour can see the networked canon printer and will install it as the default printer for the Dell PC.
However, I can not print from the Dell unless I have the wrong printer driver (an HP driver) installed. As long as the wrong driver is installed I can print the first page of a document only.
If I install the correct Canon driver, the printer ceases to function.
I tried connecting the printer to the airport express via usb. Once I did this, I was able to print from the Dell pc with no problem using the correct driver. But then, I could no longer print from the Mac-mini via the Airport Express connected printer. The Mac could see the printer and identify that it was connected via Airport. And the Mac will allow me to connect to the Airport connected printer . But as soon as I trie to print something from the Mac, it fails and gives an error message or pauses and says the drivers may not be correct.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

You've reset the printer system in the Mini? Eventually consider deleting the Canon drivers manually afterwards, and only then add the printer again and re-install its software.

I wanted to print a Word document using the pdf printer but sounds this printer doesn’t provide a dialogue box to choose where to save the printed pdf file. It prints the document but couldn’t know where does the acrobat stick it!

If you select the properties (or preferences) when right clicking on the Adobe PDF printer, there is a Settings tab (if not select the Advanced button on the general tab) and select the settings tab. There are selections there for requestion the file name and other items related to PDF creation. Sorry if my selections are not clear, I am on the wrong computer to check the correct selections for you, so give it a shot and try various selections until you find the settings.

I downloaded OpenOffice and am able to print documents (in particular, the same document I created in MS Word). I guess MS Word is to blame. I believe the issue is concluded, but I'd welcome any comments about the Active Directory, as I might have a problem

This can happen when Firefox has misread the paper size from the information supplied by Windows. Clearing it can involve finding some obscure settings, but here goes:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''print''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) For each setting for the problem printer, right-click and Reset it. The fastest way is to right-click with the mouse and then press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.
Note: In a couple other threads involving Brother printers, the preference '''printer_printer_name.print_paper_data''' was set to 256 and when the user edited it to 1 that fixed the paper size problem. If you see a 256 there, you can edit the value by doubling-clicking it or using right-click>Modify.

I have a wireless HP printer, but it is not an E Printer and cannot print directly from my mobile device. I purchased an Epson all in one E Printer so that I could print from my tablet. THe printer cost me less than $90 at Walmart.
