Problems publishing catalog CCM 2.0

Hi All,
I'm trying to publish a procurement catalog in CCM 2.0 I'm receiving the following errors:
- Error in search index update; discarding existing changes
- Index for catalog <catalogid> and locale EN- does not exist
- Error when deleting TREX metadata for catalog CCM2.0, locale EN-
I have run TREX_RFC_CREATE_INDEX and everything was ok. Can anyone provide any suggestions?
Thanks,
Paula.

Hi
do you obtain any other information in report /CCM/CHECK_TREX
Have you tried SAP Note  923213
Other possibility, execute report /CCM/CLEANUP_TREX. First with test activate in order to get moer information.
I hope that helps you.
Good luck
Jorge

Thanks so much for your response...
We ran Report TREX_RFC_CREATE_INDEX and it is telling us that the Index already exists.
We then ran /CCM/CHECK_TREX and we get the following results: (Note: We are running this check in our QSR400 environment)

  • Merge times in publisher catalog merge

I using Publisher Catalog merge to create certificates for our swimming club with the kids times recorded on them. But when I merge times with hundreds of seconds that are over 60 seconds the hundreds of seconds are rounded up - for example 1.75 will become
2.15. I'm merging out of excel where the cells are formatted as mm:ss.00 and appear correct - it's only when they are merge that this happens - I'm sure I've had this problems in previous years I just can't remember how I solved it!

How did you set the time as 1.75 in Excel? Does 1.75 means 1 minute and 75 seconds?

  • Problems publishing to iweb

I just want to thank everyone who post on here as your advice really does help.
I had problems publishing to iweb and the following suggestions made by you all helped me overcome the difficulties I was having. I am posting this so that others who may be having the same problems as I was may sort their iweb out too!
Obviously not all of these will help everyone and some people may disagree with what I have said but (touch wood) these ALL sorted out my iweb
    1. Empty your cache frequently.
    2. Do not use web counter/email me buttons
    3. rename your photos so that you are not using !@£$%^&*()_
    4. keep trying
    iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.5)   http://web.mac.com/gillianward/iWeb/Site/Welcome.html

No, its not strange at all. When you set up a MobileMe account and publish a site from iWeb it publishes to your iDisk, which is your Apple server that host your site.
Your url for an iWeb published site to MobileMe will be http://web.me.com/username/sitename. You don't actually need the sitename if you only have one site, so as OT has said http://web.me.com/username.
No - reggie88.com is not your username, this is a domain name. www.reggie88.com is a domain name also, not a MobileMe username. Have you actually gone to a domain name registrar and registered a domain name? If you want to use a domain name with MobileMe, then you need to go and purchase one first from a domain name registrar.
No - iWeb does not tell you in iWeb that you username is www.reggie.com. The only way that iWeb will have this at the bottom, is if you have logged into your MobileMe account and gone to the Personal Domain name settings section and entered a personal domain into here. Log into your MobileMe account and check whether you have done this - this is the only reason why iWeb will display this.
Next question, do you actually own or have you purchased a domain name - reggie88.com? If you have, then you can use this domain with a MobileMe account, but there are other steps that you need to go through first to link the two.
In the meantime, find your site by entering the url http://web.me.com/username which in your case is probably going to be http://web.me.com/reggie88 and you should get to your site.

  • How to configure CSWP on Category page to show the Published Catalog-item page on Publishing site in a Cross Site Publishing scenario?

I have created a Cross Site Publishing Environment in SharePoint Online. After connected
to my catalog. 2 pages automatically created. But in "Category" page, if i click on an item it will bring me to the original path/item located in Authoring site. How to configure Content Search Web Part on Category page to show the Published Catalog-item
    page on Publishing site?
Can we do this by changing the property mappings?

    Hi,
According to my understanding, you want users to be redirected to pages in the current site instead of the source page of the search results in a Content Search Web
    Part.
By default, the hyperlinks of the search results in a Content Search Web Part will point to the source page where the data comes from, when the hyperlink of each result
is clicked, user will be redirected to the corresponding source page.
If the data comes from other sites, what page do you want to display when user clicks a search result in the Content Search Web Part?
Property Mappings can help to control the content of each part of a display template, however, there seems no such property in the search result can help to redirect
to the pages of the current site, thus, it might not be able to meet your requirement.

  • Problem Publishing Handouts to Word 2003

I am having a problem publishing from Adobe Captivate 4 to Word 2003.  I have followed all steps to create the file:
    Open an Adobe Captivate project.
    Select File > Publish.
In the Publish dialog box, select Print.
In Project Title, enter the desired name without the filename extension (.doc).
In Folder, enter the full path for the folder in which to save the file or click Browse to locate the folder.
Select an Export range. The export range is made up of the slides that you want to export to Word. You can select all slides, the current slide, a selection, or a range of slides.
    In Type, select Handouts.
Select from the following Handout Layout options:  Use Tables In The Output, Slides Per Page, Caption Text, Add Blank Lines For Notes, etc.
    When you finish, click Publish.
The problem occurs when I open the Word doc--all slide notes and info is there, but the images themselves are not in the Word doc.  I have tried publishing as a storyboard, lesson, handout and step by step--the issue occurs in all scenarios.
    Thank you!

    Hello
Perhaps you already checked it, but I did not read it in your posting: in the Handout Layout Options, did you activate 'Include objects and Question slides'? Those objects are all the 'graphical' things like images, the captions (not the text in the captions), the drawings...

  • Hyperlinks on SAP MDM Publisher Catalog

    Hello Friends,
I need to create a catalog having hyper links.
Can I define hyperlinks in console or some otherplace, so  that in the final  publisher catalog,  I have a hyperlink.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sameer.
Edited by: SAMEER CHOPRA on Nov 26, 2009 10:12 AM

    Hi Sameer,
Generaly, it is recommended saving URLs in the Text HTMLs table in MDM.
Referencing URLs of the Text HTMLs table enables you to preview the website (right click on the text html record->view detail-> preview tab).
However, I agree with Markus's comment. Accessing hyperlinks In a printed publication seems to me less relevant.
If the requirement is only displaying the URL in the printed catalogue you may also consider storing them as plain texts.
    Regards,
    Hedda

  • Peculiar Problem: Corrupt Catalog?

    1. The Basic Problem: In Lightroom 3.2 and now 3.3, when new images are downloaded, the folders appear in the list of folders (in the left-hand panel) and the same folders appear in the Lightroom_Library folder on my N drive. However, when Lightroom is closed and reopened, these folders no longer appear in the list of folders in the left-hand panel of Lightroom. The folders and their images are still on the N drive and can be accessed with Photoshop.
    2. The two sets of imported images that have been a problem were shot in late October and late November. I had not taken any photos prior to that since August. I made three backups of my catalog in August long before I began to have the current problem.
    3. I have synchronized my 2010 folder (which contains the problematic folders) in the list of folders in the left-hand panel. This action replaced the two missing folders shot in October and November in the list of folders; however, they both disappeared again when Lightroom was shut down and reopened.
    4. I noticed that when I import test images and the folder name appears correctly in the list of folders in the left-hand panel and then turn Lightroom off and then on again, even though the folder disappears from the list of folders, the images themselves still appear on the screen, which means, does it not, that the images are in the catalog even though they are not showing in the folders list.
Following up on this, I imported some test images and gave them a unique keyword. I then shut Lightroom down and reopened it and that folder was missing from the list of folders in the left-hand column, but I was able to bring the images up by searching for the photos using the unique keyword that I had given them, which is, I think, more evidence that the images are in the catalog.
    5. I spoke with an Adobe customer support representative, and as a last resort, he created a test catalog into which he imported new images. The images appeared in the list of folders. Lightroom was then shut down and reopened, and the folder was still in the list of folders in the left-hand panel. Based on this experiment, the Adobe representative concluded that my catalog was corrupt, and that I would need to import my current catalog into a new catalog to solve this problem.
    6. Except for this one problem, the catalog seems to function normally, and I have checked the integrity of the catalog and this has turned up no problems. I have not received any warnings from Lightroom 3 to indicate that the catalog is corrupted.
    6. Since I thought I was dealing with a corrupt catalog, I substituted one of my backups from August, which was made at a time when I was having no problems with the catalog; however, I am having the same problem with this backup catalog. Does this suggest that the problem may not be that the catalog which first showed the problem is corrupt?
    7. The support representatives that I spoke with gave me somewhat different recommendations for transferring this catalog to a new catalog. One suggested that I create a new empty catalog and then combine the corrupt catalog with the new one. In this case wouldn’t the new catalog be corrupted too?
If I have to accept that the problematic catalog is corrupt, how exactly do I transfer the contents of the corrupt catalog to a new catalog without losing anything?
    Thanks.
    Roger

Create a brand-new test catalog and try importing the two folders into it.  If they still disappear it is something to do with those folders or their contents.  If they seem ok, then it could be something wrong with your catalog.  When importing make sure you've done right-click Include Parent Folder enough times to make it the same relative depth of folders as your regular catalog.
I assume you've done an optimize catalog with test-integrity enabled.
I have seen problems in the past with folders that had some weird character or were longer than the rest so see if that is the case for these two.  When the folders do happen to be visible, you might try renaming them (within LR) to something much shorter and see if they work, then.
Before messing around too much, I'd write XMP files (select all / Metadata / Write Metadata for Files) for all the photos in these two folders, so at some point if things go completely haywire, you can at least reimport the photos with their current set of adjustments applied although linkages to them in collections and keywords and such may not be as lucky.
You can also use File / Import from Catalog... and File / Export to Catalog... to create working copies of just those two folders in another catalog but if the catalog, itself, is corrupted, that may only propagate the corruption.

  • Problem publishing my iWeb site to new server

I have a problem publishing my site to a new server HostGator.
I click publish, everything continues normally, then I get an ERROR notice:
    Publish Error
There was an error communicating with the FTP server.
Try again later, or check with your service provider
Since I changed the settings for the new server all the iWeb pages symbols go pink every time I close and reopen iWeb.  Once I have tried to publish and get the ERROR notice I see that most of the pages have turned blue (suggesting they have been correctly published) and the same 5 pages remain pink (suggesting they have not been published)   I have used the HostGator link
    http://gator694.hostgator.com/~carouge1/carouge-art/Welcome.html
to look at the uploaded pages.
All the pages are on their server file BUT the pages which remain pink on iWeb have problems. These problems (missing photos etc.) don't seem to affect the pages when the site is called up normally. The site is apparently still being uploaded to people’s computers through MobileMe eventhough I have changed the server settings! So I’m assuming the page problems will show up after MobileMe stops at the end of this month?  I cannot find an explanation for the failed pages from HostGator or from the Apple online answers.
    Grateful for any advice.

I am having a similar problem trying to upload from iWeb through FTP to MacHighway web hosting.
I am using iWeb 3.0.4, the latest version.
I have followed the instructions on the MacHighway site: https://customers.machighway.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=10
When I type "public_html" into Directory/Path window in iWeb I get the following message:
    Testing failed.
The directory/path couldn't be found.  Verify your settings and try again.
When I type "/public_html" or /public_html/" into Directory/Path window in iWeb I get the following message:
    Testing failed.
A connection to mel.machighway.com couldn't be established.  Verify your settings and try again.
Unlike carougeart, however, nothing gets uploaded.

  • I'm having problems publishing my videos to You Tube

I'm having problems publishing my videos to You Tube, I keep getting the error message: 'Login failed. Specify the correct username and password, and try again.
I have tripled checked my username and password, so I know I'm entering them correctly.

Never mind I found the problem. I had Firewall set to Specific Applications instead of Allow All Incoming Traffic.

  • Problem: Publishing Category not beeing transmitted to Catalogs

    Hi people!
When i am finished doing the full deployment in BCC with merchadising the assets data in publishing schema is not being persisted in catalogs schemas(CATA and CATB).
Does anyone have pass through this problem and could give me a help.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Did you install the root CA certificate into the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities under the Current User store?
Based on my experience, it should be added into Certificates (Local Computer). The Current User certificate store is local to a user account on the computer, but the Local Computer certificate store is local to the computer and is global to all users on the
    computer.
You can follow the steps in the article below to view the certificate stores for the computer:
How to: View Certificates with the MMC Snap-in

  • Error when Publishing a CCM Catalogue

    Hello,
When publishing a new CCM Catalogue we tend to get the following message in production but not in our UAT system:
"Error when deleting TREX metadata for Catalog". It often takes 3 goes at publishing before it is successful.
Has anyone encountered this or know why it's happening?
    Thank you,
    Kind Regards,
    Jackie

    Hi Jackie,
It generally refers to an issue with the TREX engine directly, perhaps the trex engine is under-resourced or used by too many applications via the same port.
Check the transaction TREXADMIN for any evident errors in there which may explain the problem.

  • Data upload error during uploading data in catalogs ( CCM 2.0 )

    Hi ,
I am having problem during upload of data into catalogs of CCM 2.0. I think there is some problem with my file. When i click "Upload Schema" it just upload schema not the data. But if i am removing schema from file it is giving me error.
Kindly if anyone can send me sample file for data upload in CCM 2.0 or steps to upload data correctly.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kamal

    Hi,
I don't understand very well, the standard characteristic for images is /CCM/PICTURE.
It's a complex characteristic composed by
    /CCM/DESCRIPTION
    /CCM/URL
    /CCM/MIME_TYPE. (for example image/jpeg).
If your problems still exist, you can send me your file

  • Verify the published Catalog Data

Classic Scenario; CCM 2.0; SRM 5.0
    Hello everyone,
I was wondering if it's possible to extract the catalog data from CCM of what has been published with material details, etc.  Or does anyone know a way to do this in TREX?  Our requirement is enabling us to validate the product data before or after it has been published to the procurement catalog for general use.
    Thank you,
    Jay

    Hi Jay,
Can you not use the standard functionality of Approval of CCM for this purpose?
Only you will have to create a user eg.  " CATAPPROVER" with role /CCM/CATALOG_APPROVER
