Problems removing Call Connect for Cisco

Hi, I have a problem trying to uninstall this app. I get a message that applications need closing, I say ok, gets to finalising uninstallation then has an error. The app gets removed from installed applications list however my contacts still have Cisco VOIP call option and I cannot get rid. Any ideas or anyone seen this?

  • E71x & Call Connect for Cisco

    After getting the runaround from both Nokia and AT&T regarding the functionality of Call Connect for Cisco on this model of device (Nokia bounced me to AT&T, saying the E71x was AT&T's custom model, AT&T bounced me back to Nokia, saying that Nokia was the manufacturer), I finally got someone that told me Call Connect would function.
    On that advice, we ordered (4) E71x's from AT&T.
    They arrived today, and I'm trying to install the .SIS Call Connect package.
    PC Suite is installed, the phone is talking to my PC.
    I attempt to install CC, and I get:
    "Application not compatible with phone.  Continue anyway?"
    I go ahead and continue, it checks certificate validity, gives me details on "License Manager".
    I click continue, checks certificate validity again, and starts installing (progress bar time).
    I wait.
    The Nokia CC Cisco EULA comes up, I click "OK" to agree to it, and receive the warning:
    "Nokia CC Cisco
    Phone model is not supported!  Press Cancel to abort installation."
    Obviously, cancel aborts.  If I continue, the progress bar returns, grows, and eventually errors out with an odd tone:
    "Unable to install.  No access."
    Then dumps me back to the menu.
    Has anyone played with this yet?

    I see that it doesn't show the Nokia VoIP 2.3 - is that required for Call Connect?  I thought Nokia VoIP was a seperate functionality.
    When speaking with both AT&T and Nokia prior to our purchase of these phones, I was assured that they had the VoIP capabilities.
    That list appears to be inaccurate in some aspects for the E71x - it doesn't list the following for the E71x:
    Nokia AV 2.5mm
    Nokia microUSB Cable CA-101
    USB Mass Storage
    The E71x has all of these. 
    I'm having another problem too, locating any 802.1X configuration, which is also advertised on this model...

  • E66 Nokia Call Connect for Cisco

    Help! Does anyone knows if E66 support Nokia call connect. Downloaded the latest version available under Nokia Business site but the software won't load. What version of Nokia CC needed to be use to support the e66. Where can the file be downloaded.

    So you tried to install the NCC but something went wrong? Did you see any error notification?

  • Cisco Call Connect for Cisco 2.0 and E52

    Hello,
    We have a lot of Eserie, old models, using Call Connect for Cisco 1.1 registered to Cisco Communications Manager 6.1. They are well registered in SCCP protocol to the CallManager, and we use the phone model type 7970 to register them.
    Now, we received new model E52 which requires Call Connect for Cisco 2.0 release. But we experienced issues registering them into the CallManager 6.1 and phone model type 7970. Apparently there is a model mismatch. 
    I would like to know if everyone found the right model type to register them without installing the COP addon adding the Nokia CC model.

  • Can't remove Nokia Call Connect for Cisco 2.02(705...

    Hello,
    I installed the app Nokia CC for Cisco but i want to remove it. When i try to uninstall it in the application manager i get the message "removing canceled" when the progress bar is at the end.
    In the file swilog.log on the phone memory is an entry:
    Nokia CC Cisco : Failed with -3
    Nokia N8 with Anna product code 059C640

    finally i did uninstall for nokia cc cisco, i found it on the program documentation on nokia, and states as follow
    Some S60 5.0 and new Symbian OS versions do not allow NCC uninstallation via App
    Manager. If you need to remove/uninstall NCC 2.2 manually from these devices device it
    can be done following way
    - Menu => Applications => Options => Edit
    - Long key press over “Nokia CC Cisco” => Delete => Done

    HI All, I see that the above software has been released with version 1.1.1 to support the E90, but it mentions in the release notes that the E90 needs 200.x.x firmware, I am running 7.40.1.2, would this mean i need 7.200.x.x and when is this available?

    This software is something you dont wanna download on your phone without any help from Nokia. I bought my brand new E-90 installed this software the very night and next day boom phone went dead. Within 48 (the SLA) got me a new phone as a replacement after which i didnt try this software i have tried several others phone works good.
    So beware!!!

  • Problem with call connect license

    Hi to all,
    recently we purchased some call connect cisco software licenses. We first install those licenses without any problems. Weeks ago the customer bought some new nokia phone and we had to free old licenses to enter them in the new phones.
    We entered it 7 licenses with no problems. the probme is with the eight one. Seems to be occupied so i cannot register the software. We have problem with just one license key.
    I need to contact with somebody that can help me fron the nokia support team.
    I got a copy of this license right here, so the only thing i jus need is to free this key.

    This software is my personal software, so my main machine is my home machine, I use the software at work as a convenience to myself since the most my company has ever bought is Acrobat Professional, even though I find myself tasked with website work, graphics etc.
    I purchase all of my software and it is never used by anyone other than myself so that's not a concern - again my complaint was based on a wish to be able to manage my licenses from my Adobe account.
    I don't quite understand how a feature like this would be a problem from "some countries" especially when my Adobe account already has "identifying" information about my previous registrations and contact info? Not to mention the majority of the world is internet connected?
    You're saying it's easier to call Adobe 7:30pm (from "some country") on a Sunday nite (when a client is scheduled to come and review some work - which most likely means that there WON'T be any answer to the call to Adobe when you need it the most) compared to just accessing my Adobe account over the internet and turning off a license?
    I don't understand that one?...
    Yes, I plan on calling Adobe as I quoted since this seems to be the only answer to exactly WHY I was here searching last nite.
    Again I appreciate your reply and I do HOPE that Adobe would take my suggestion into consideration.
    Anytime a legit customer is prevented from using his own software is not a good look and obviously it creates not only problems such as I outlined but fosters ill will towards legitimate software licensing in general.

  • Maximum concurrent call connections for our Call Manager v7.15

    Hi everyone,
    Hope you can help! I was just asked one question I should have known how to answer...
    We are using CM 7.15. Have 1 publisher and 1 subscriber. We have 2 pri T1 (24 slots).  One connects to 1 2821 Voice gateway and another one is connection to another 2821 voice gateway in another location. I do not think we use SIP trunk...but I am not sure if we are using mpcp or H323.... so how do I check which protocol I use?
    The most important question is... I would like to ask how I can find out what the maximum concurrent sessions of the call connections are? How do I find it out?
    Please help...thank you very much for your help.

    Hi Bobson Lam,
     in CUCM Administration > Device > Gateway, you have a list of configured Gateways ... in this list there is a column called 'Device Type', this column shows the 'H.323 Gateway' or the Gateway Model (for ex.: 2821) if it's MGCP.
     For Maximum Concurrent Sessions ... have you try RTMT (CUCM Administration > Administrations > Plugin > RTMT for Windows)? There are some System - Performance, that shows, for example, Call Active for H.323.

  • Problem with JDBC Connection for HDB hanadb 02

    Hi folks,
    Ok I have an instance based on the 7.4 SP5 HANA CAL solution.
    But when I suspend and restart the R3 system doesn't start again.
    I've followed the instructions in the user guide and can access the backend instance and see that for HDB GetProcessList everything is GREEN, running
    while for A4H GetProcessList everything is GREY, stopped
    When I try to start the A4H instance I get
    Checking HDB database
    Database is not available via R3trans
    Database must be started first
    The messages I found on SCN suggested this might be a license problem with the HANA database, so I tried to follow the install license instructions for the HANA database via the HANA studio, but when I try to open the HDB(SYSTEM) > Properties > Licence, I then get the messages
    Error while reading the licence information from system HDB hanadb 02
    Reason:
    Cannot retrieve JDBC Connection for HDB hanadb 02
    So what do I try now? 
    Any suggestions?

  • Problem Load Balancing connections for Grid Control Console on port 80!

    I have two OMS and I'm balancing connections for Grid Control Console using a Software Load Balancer according with "Oracle Enterprise Manager Advanced Configuration". I have success where the load balancer is listening on port different to 80. When I configure Load Balancer to listen on port 80(architecture requirement) and distribute load between the two OMS(Port 7779), when login to Enterprise Manager Console the URL on the web browser changes to the port configured for HTTP server (port 7780) wich produces an "unable to connect" error message; and this behaviour also happends in some of the internal links of Grid Control Console too. Any ideas?

    I got it working, changing the "Port" directive to 80 on httpd.conf on HTTP Server

    Actually  we have UCS 6248 fabric interconnect - first twelve ports are enabled  and same in Cisco UCS Manager.
    But when more port will be active by expansion module  then UCSM can manage that too or need any other licence  for UCSM too?

  • Unable to Remove Metal Casing for Cisco 1924 Switch

    I just bought a Cisco 1924 switch and would like to check out its insides but I can't seem to work out how to remove the metal cover.
    I have removed all the visable screws and have also checked out the Cisco Support site and Internet but considering that the 1924 switch is an end of line product, I'm finding it extremely to find any support resources for the 1924 switch.
    I don't really want to force it open as I don't want to crack or snap anything.

  • Problem in Calling URL for Line Item of Perticular Purchase Requisition.

    Hi Experts,
       I am calling a external window from the web dynpro which is working fine. I am trying to open transaction ME53 in the browser and i am successful in that. But now when i open that transaction there were two requirements:
    *1) It should open the purchase requisition directly bypassing the initial screen {which is completed while posting this query}*
    *2) and it should open the purchase requisition according to the specific line item. eg. for PR 1234569 Line Item 0010 should only be visible.
    Please help me out with this.

    Currently the URL is as follows:

      concatenate  lv_url lv_banfn into lv_url.
      concatenate  lv_url '&~OKCODE=/00' into lv_url.
    this is opening transaction ME 53 skipping the initial screen with all the line item.
    i want to use it for specific line item how to do it?
