EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (mandatory group/segment missing)
hi EDI/IDoc experts,
Need you help urgently. According to the requirement, i need populate a segement E1IDT01 of basic type PEXR2002 . I added the code , then run and generate an idoc , the new segment
E1IDT01 was populated, but Syntax error 26 happend. Error message as below. It also strange that i can see E1IDKU5 populate out as usual, but some others segment disappeared , i am sure that in my code ,i didn't changed any variable related to other segement . how can i fix this problem?
EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (mandatory group missing)
Message no. E0079
Diagnosis
The segment group E1IDKU5 has the attribute 'Mandatory' in the syntax description of the basic type PEXR2002 (customer enhancement ). However, the segment group is missing in the IDoc. The segment number logged in the status record identifies the item before which the segment group is missing.
Procedure
Please check the IDoc or the syntax description of the basic type PEXR2002 (customer enhancement ).Hi all,
Thanks so much for your concern!
Finally ,this problem has been figured out .
Requirement is user want to use segment E1IDT01 in idoc to populate the long text they maintained in accounting document vendor item line (use FB01 to create accounting doc).
Why I made out " EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (mandatory group/segment missing)" this message out ,because I didn't fill data correctly. I missed to keep SY-TABIX in momory .
when we use Function module ,or do..enddo...or read table it_table. we should be careful that SY-TABIX is changed .So we can't just use MODIFY EDIDD_TABLE INDEX SY-TABIX in the last . we should define a local variable to keep SY-TABIX in memory and then use it to modify EDIDD_TABLE.
Follow is the final code.
IF SEGMENT_NAME = 'E1IDT01'.
TABLES :STXL.
* Define for long text getting
DATA: LIT_TLINE LIKE TLINE OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
DATA: LV_STRING(2000) TYPE C.

Appreciate your inputs in resolving this issue.
Raised message with SAP support but didn't hear anything till now - so seeking your experise.
Best Regards
DavinderHello Experts,
Further investigation on system showed that we had implemented SNOTE 1374978 - which seems to be causing the problem.
Now as Support packages (SPAM) has locked SNOTE transactions also - is there any way that we can deimplement the above sap note from our system.
Thanks
Davinder -
Syntax error in my code and I can't figure out the problem
When I try to compile a program, I get this message:
Syntax error on token "(", "Identifier" expected
This is the part of the code that is giving me trouble:
JTextPane textPane = createTextPane();
JScrollPane paneScrollPane = new JScrollPane(textPane);
paneScrollPane.setVerticalScrollBarPolicy(
JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_ALWAYS);
paneScrollPane.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(250, 155));
paneScrollPane.setMinimumSize(new Dimension(10, 10));Can you see what's wrong?
ThanksThe code's syntax is perfectly fine. The compiler is not falgging an error message in this part of your code. One silly thing you can do:
Try out this silly change...I don't think it will make any difference but still.
paneScrollPane.setVerticalScrollBarPolicy(JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_ALWAYS);That is, put it all in a single line.
If it is already in a single line then you can be sure that the problem is being flagged from elsewhere in your code and this portion.

[SOLVED] Php.ini syntax error, unexpected '&'
Hi guys,
I'm having a trouble setting up a local hosted LAMP, I want to enable the error reporting and display, but it's giving me this error:
[root@albert albert]# php
PHP: syntax error, unexpected '&' in /etc/php/php.ini on line 105
Line 105:
; error_reporting
Default Value: E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT & ~E_DEPRECATED ; this is the 105
Development Value: E_ALL
Production Value: E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_STRICT
And when I access to on localhost/phpmyadmin:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function PMA_DBI_num_rows() in /usr/share/webapps/phpMyAdmin/libraries/navigation/Nodes/Node.class.php on line 408
When I comment the line 105,106,107, it works as I expected, but I can't see any error output...
Here it's the entire php.ini:
[PHP]
; About php.ini ;
; PHP's initialization file, generally called php.ini, is responsible for
; configuring many of the aspects of PHP's behavior.
; PHP attempts to find and load this configuration from a number of locations.
; The following is a summary of its search order:
; 1. SAPI module specific location.
; 2. The PHPRC environment variable. (As of PHP 5.2.0)
; 3. A number of predefined registry keys on Windows (As of PHP 5.2.0)
; 4. Current working directory (except CLI)
; 5. The web server's directory (for SAPI modules), or directory of PHP
; (otherwise in Windows)
; 6. The directory from the --with-config-file-path compile time option, or the
; Windows directory (C:\windows or C:\winnt)
; See the PHP docs for more specific information.
; http://php.net/configuration.file
; The syntax of the file is extremely simple. Whitespace and lines
; beginning with a semicolon are silently ignored (as you probably guessed).
; Section headers (e.g. [Foo]) are also silently ignored, even though
; they might mean something in the future.
; Directives following the section heading [PATH=/www/mysite] only
; apply to PHP files in the /www/mysite directory. Directives
; following the section heading [HOST=www.example.com] only apply to
; PHP files served from www.example.com. Directives set in these
; special sections cannot be overridden by user-defined INI files or
; at runtime. Currently, [PATH=] and [HOST=] sections only work under
; CGI/FastCGI.
; http://php.net/ini.sections
; Directives are specified using the following syntax:
; directive = value
; Directive names are *case sensitive* - foo=bar is different from FOO=bar.
; Directives are variables used to configure PHP or PHP extensions.
; There is no name validation. If PHP can't find an expected
; directive because it is not set or is mistyped, a default value will be used.
; The value can be a string, a number, a PHP constant (e.g. E_ALL or M_PI), one
; of the INI constants (On, Off, True, False, Yes, No and None) or an expression
; (e.g. E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE), a quoted string ("bar"), or a reference to a
; previously set variable or directive (e.g. ${foo})
; Expressions in the INI file are limited to bitwise operators and parentheses:
; | bitwise OR
; ^ bitwise XOR
; & bitwise AND
; ~ bitwise NOT
; ! boolean NOT
; Boolean flags can be turned on using the values 1, On, True or Yes.
; They can be turned off using the values 0, Off, False or No.
; An empty string can be denoted by simply not writing anything after the equal
; sign, or by using the None keyword:
; foo = ; sets foo to an empty string
; foo = None ; sets foo to an empty string
; foo = "None" ; sets foo to the string 'None'
; If you use constants in your value, and these constants belong to a
; dynamically loaded extension (either a PHP extension or a Zend extension),
; you may only use these constants *after* the line that loads the extension.
; About this file ;
; PHP comes packaged with two INI files. One that is recommended to be used
; in production environments and one that is recommended to be used in
; development environments.
; php.ini-production contains settings which hold security, performance and
; best practices at its core. But please be aware, these settings may break
; compatibility with older or less security conscience applications. We
; recommending using the production ini in production and testing environments.
; php.ini-development is very similar to its production variant, except it's
; much more verbose when it comes to errors. We recommending using the
; development version only in development environments as errors shown to
; application users can inadvertently leak otherwise secure information.
; Quick Reference ;
; The following are all the settings which are different in either the production
; or development versions of the INIs with respect to PHP's default behavior.
; Please see the actual settings later in the document for more details as to why

; Output buffering is a mechanism for controlling how much output data
; (excluding headers and cookies) PHP should keep internally before pushing that
; data to the client. If your application's output exceeds this setting, PHP
; will send that data in chunks of roughly the size you specify.
; Turning on this setting and managing its maximum buffer size can yield some
; interesting side-effects depending on your application and web server.
; You may be able to send headers and cookies after you've already sent output
; through print or echo. You also may see performance benefits if your server is
; emitting less packets due to buffered output versus PHP streaming the output

; E_ERROR - fatal run-time errors
; E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR - almost fatal run-time errors
; E_WARNING - run-time warnings (non-fatal errors)

; E_NOTICE - run-time notices (these are warnings which often result
; from a bug in your code, but it's possible that it was
; intentional (e.g., using an uninitialized variable and
; relying on the fact it's automatically initialized to an
; empty string)
; E_STRICT - run-time notices, enable to have PHP suggest changes
; to your code which will ensure the best interoperability
; and forward compatibility of your code
; E_CORE_ERROR - fatal errors that occur during PHP's initial startup
; E_CORE_WARNING - warnings (non-fatal errors) that occur during PHP's

; E_COMPILE_WARNING - compile-time warnings (non-fatal errors)

Syntax error while executing Key Figure routine
Hello,
I am posting my question again, as I have not got any solution. Please help it will be really appreciated. Here's the description
I am loading data from flatfile to an Infocube with 3 keyfigures: Sales Price , Sales Quantity, Sales Revune. Getting values for Sales Price and Salea Quantity from flatfile and calculating for Sales Revunue IO_VB_REV using routine
- I created Transformations, and under Rule Group: Standard Group box I have not mapped IO_VB_REV any datasource field and see 'X' sign against the field.
- In rules detail screen, I add two source fields of Rule , IO_VB_QU and IO_VB_PRC. I see IO_VB_REV already added under 'Target fields of Rule' section
- I then add the only following line to routine
RESULT = SOURCE_FIELDS_RULE-/BIC/IO_VB_QU * SOURCE_FIELDS_RULE-/BIC/IO_VB_PRC .
- Clicking on check button it gives no syntax error message. I save and exit back to Rule Details page.
- For IO_VB_REV field If I select any of 2 options i.e. Fixed Unit or No conversion it gives me a dump. So I select 'from conversion' option. In that case I enter USD against 'Conversion Type' field. It gives me information box popup with 'Incorrect Input Message'
- When check button hit on 'Rule Details' page, it gives me error message ' Syntax error in routine '
Why is it giving me syntax error, inspite of the fact that I get 'no syntax error' message on routine page. Also why am I getting short dumps on changing Conversion TypeHi Olivier,
I really thank you for ur efforts in helping me solving this problem. Below is complete description of KF defined,
1. Created InfoObjects for Sales Quantity, Sales Price, Sales Revunue
Definition of <b>Sales Quantity</b>
Name: IO_VB_QU
Type/Data Type : Quantity
Data Type: QUAN - Quantity field, points to unit field with format UN
Currency / unit of measure
Unit / Currency: 0UNIT
Definition of <b>Sales Price</b>
Name: IO_VB_PRC
Type/Data Type : Amount
Data Type: CURR - Currency field, stored as DEC
Currency / unit of measure
Fixed Currency: USD
Definition of <b>Sales Revunue</b>
Name: IO_VB_REV
Type/Data Type : Amount
Data Type: CURR - Currency field, stored as DEC
Currency / unit of measure
Fixed Currency: USD
2. As the data is being read from flatfile, created DataSource with fields for Sales ID, Sales Price, Sales Quantity. As I am reading unit for quantity from file (has values EA,BOX,CSE), I have a corresponding field UNIT in DataSource. No field for Sales Revunue.
3. I use 'Create Transformation' functionality to automatically create transformations.
4. Rule Details page of each of 3 KFs has following values
<b>Rule Details page of Sales Quantity</b>
Rule Type: Direct Assignment
Aggregation : Summation
Target Unit: 0UNIT
Unit: from Source
Source Unit: UNIT
Source Fields of Rule: /BIC/IO_VB_QU, UNIT
Target Fields of Rule: 0UNIT, IO_VB_QU
<b>Rule Details page of Sales Price</b>
Rule Type: Direct Assignment
Aggregation : Maximum
Fixed Target Currency : USD
Currency: No Conversion
Source Fields of Rule: /BIC/IO_VB_PRC
Target Fields of Rule: IO_VB_PRC
<b>Rule Details page of Sales Revunue</b>
Rule Type: Routine
Aggregation : Summation
Fixed Target Currency : USD
Currency: from Conversion
Conversion Type: ??????.....(I entered USD it gives me Incorrect Input message)
Source Fields of Rule: /BIC/IO_VB_PRC, /BIC/IO_VB_QU, UNIT
Target Fields of Rule: IO_VB_REV
I have this line is the routine
RESULT = SOURCE_FIELDS_RULE-/BIC/IO_VB_QU * SOURCE_FIELDS_RULE-/BIC/IO_VB_PRC.
Let me know if u need any other info......
I really appreciate u trying to help me

Syntax Error after creating enhancements for subroutine
Problem:
Creating enhancement sections gives a syntax error when creating enhancement options and implementations for a subroutine and then ceating enhancement options and implementations for the call to that same subroutine.
<p>
Syntax Error:
"Different number of parameters in FORM and PERFORM (routine: SET_LAYOUT, number of formal parameters: 2, number of actual parameters: 1)
</p>
<p>
Here's the following scenario:
</p>
<p>
A subroutine is defined in a program.
The subroutine is called within the same program.
</p>
<p>
I then executed these steps:
<br> 1. Defined an enhancement section around the subroutine definition
<br> 2. Defined an enhancement section around the subroutine call.
<br> 3. Implemented the enhancement section around the subroutine definition and add an additional parameter.
</p>
<p>
Currently, this gives a syntax error as expected, since the call to the subroutine needs 1 more parameter.
</p>
<p>
4. Implemented the enhancement section for the subroutine call. I change the call in the implementation so it passes the new parameter.
</p>
<p>
A syntax check to this gives an error. The syntax checker is not only checking the new implementation, but also the original subroutine that should have been overwritten.
</p>
<p>
The enhancement sections use the same enhancement spot, and the enhancement implementations use the same implementation.
</p>
<p>
I tried various combinations of using different enhancement spots and/or implementations, but all give the same syntax error. I tried separating the subroutine in a different include and retried my testing, but it still gave the same syntax error.
</p>
<p>
Here's the sample code I first created to try troubleshooting the problem:
</p>
<p>
<pre>
ENHANCEMENT-SECTION ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_02 SPOTS ZES_Z_MICHAEL .
PERFORM set_layout
CHANGING
wa_layout.
END-ENHANCEMENT-SECTION.

$$-End: ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_02----

p_wa_layout-zebra = 'X'.
wa_layout-no_colhead = 'X'..
p_wa_layout-colwidth_optimize ='X'.
wa_layout-window_titlebar = 'Woot'.
ENDFORM. "set_layout
END-ENHANCEMENT-SECTION.
$$-Start: ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_01----
$$

CHANGING p_wa_layout TYPE slis_layout_alv.
p_wa_layout-zebra = 'X'.
wa_layout-no_colhead = 'X'..
p_wa_layout-colwidth_optimize ='X'.
wa_layout-window_titlebar = 'Woot'.
ENDFORM. "set_layout
ENDENHANCEMENT.
$$-End: ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_01----
$$
</pre>
</p>
<p>
Please let me know if you think I am doing something wrong.
</p>
<p>
Thanks, <br>
Mike
</p>
Edited by: Michael Herman on Mar 8, 2010 8:11 PMYes, Sandra. That is what did and it worked with no syntax errors!
I'm not sure if this is getting off topic or not, but the SAP documentation(taken from the SAP help after pressing F1 on the keyword static in ERP6) seems misleading:
"The STATIC addition is intended for the enhancement of data declarations, while the statement ENHANCEMENT-POINT without the STATIC addition is designed for the enhancement of executable coding."
I would think the enhancement section ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_02 would fall under the category of executable code, while the enhancement section ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_01 would fall under the category of declarative code.
Unfortunately, all the SAP enhancement sections I come accross are dynamic. The SAP help explains the reasoning for this:
"In contrast to the statement ENHANCEMENT-POINT, the addition STATIC of the statement ENHANCEMENT-SECTION can only be used with maximum caution for changes of data declarations, because a replacement and no completion is carried out. Especially application development within SAP should not use the addition STATIC at all with ENHANCEMENT-SECTION as the change will be active in the entire customer system. "
I do not know what the word "completion" means in the previous quote, so I can't determine why it would matter. Regardless, if a developer wanted to change a standard subroutine declaration, they would also have to mod an enhancement section to change it to static. This seems to defeat the purpose of using enhancements, but maybe this scenario is not what enhancements were intended for. -

SSHi Friend,
Please check whether or not there is view missing error recorded in dev_w0 trace file.
if there is , you can try to follow this procedure in order to manually
import the missing view definitions.
All steps must be carried out with the <sid>adm user of the target
system and from the install-directory:
1. In the install-directory
<sapinst_instdir>\...COPY\IMPORTT\SYSTEM\ABAP\ORA\UC\DB
create a file SAPVIEW.cmd with the following content:
tsk: "<sapinst_instdir>\...\COPY\IMPORT\SYSTEM\ABAP\ORA\UC\DB\SAPVIEW.TSK"
icf: "
<YOUR_EXPORT_DIRECTORY>\export\DATA\SAPVIEW.STR"
dcf: "<sapinst_instdir>\...\COPY\IMPORT\SYSTEM\ABAP\ORA\UC\DB\DDLORA.TPL"
dat: null
dir: null
ext: null
Please make sure that all paths are written correctly (in one line) and
the refered files are existant and readable. One exception:
The SAPVIEW.TSK file is created with step 2.:
2. Run from the command-line:
R3load -ctf I
<YOUR_EXPORT_DIRECTORY>\export\DATA\SAPVIEW.STR <sapinst_instdir>\...\COPY\IMPORT\SYSTEM\ABAP\ORA\UC\DB\DDLORA.TPL SAPVIEW.TSK ORA -l SAPVIEW.log
If there's a problem reading the 'SAPVIEW.STR' file, copy the
file to the install directory and adapt the path accordingly.
3. Run the view import by:
R3load.exe -i SAPVIEW.cmd -dbcodepage <YOUR_CODE_PAGE> -l SAPVIEW.log
-stop_on_error
4. Check both the SAPVIEW.log and the SAPVIEW.TSK file whether all views
have been created successfully.
If 4. is okay, restart the central instance and check whether you are
able to log on now. If yes, continue 'sapinst' by the option 'retry' or
'continue old installation'.
I Hope It can be helpful.
With Best Regards

hi,
when I tried to connect a oracle database and access the table content, error occured as follows:
The following syntax error occurred in program "GP_CREATE_STRUCTURE_DBCON_023 "
in include "GP_CREATE_STRUCTURE_DBCON_023 " in line 25:
"For type "C", a maximum length specification of 65535 is allowed."
I checked the length of each field, none exceeds 200. Could you ever tried to connect a database system, and encountered such kind of problem? Any idea or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
Best Regards,
Grace PanChar with 0 length would be denied.

Syntax Error while Posting Material
Hi,
when posting material the system is throwing a message
Syntax error in program RGIMF000
in Include RGIMF000
in Line 1328
Last changed by SAP*
Author SAP
The data object "GLU1" does not have a component called
"RSPONSORED_CLASS".
Is there anyway to solve this?
Regards,
AjitPlease look at the SAP note : 656431
Hope this helps you ...
Symptom
When you post data, the system terminates with a syntax error in program RGIMF000.
The error indicates that data object GLU1 does not have a component named RSPONSORED_CLASS.
Reason and Prerequisites
The cause is for this problem not completely clear yet.
Probably program RGZZGLUX, which is to be automatically started for the postprocessing after a system copy, has not run completely or has not run at all.
Solution
Check your postprocessing logs to see whether or not program RGZZGLUX has run correctly.
If the program has not run at all or with errors, inform SAP and indicate how to find the log.
To eliminate the syntax error, call Transaction SE38 and start program RGZZGLUX for generating structure GLU1 and FI-SL programs.
It takes a maximum of 5 minutes for the program to carry out the generations.
Make sure that NO ONE is working in the PRODUCTION system at this time, otherwise documents posted then may disappear. If you are using a test system, this should not be a problem since it is only test data.
If the problems are still not solved after the successful run of program RGZZGLUX, contact SAP Support again. -
Hello, i'm getting this error
syntax error at line 5 in "rectkate.mouseout" on "Stage": Mismatched braces
but this is a copy for serval others mouseout-commands...which are getting No problem??
this is the function:
// play the timeline from the given position (ms or label)
sym.play("ckate");
and this is in an other command:
// play the timeline from the given position (ms or label)
sym.play("cdisc");
As i can see exactly the samen???
( Is there a maximum on the click and label commands? i've made several commands, most of the with mouseover en mouseout,
but when i maken a click-command, nothing happend??
When i make the exactly in a new document it works??
very strange...or does it have to do, with the other error??Thanks, i'm not so good in this code...
The animation works good, only the error is ignoring on the edit-screen...but no major problem.
strange things, the error-good, is copied from another which is good..
What you suggest, is that better, or better for the overview when you use the code?
where must i put it, or is better to do not so, when you aren't familiar with the code?
Below, you find the 415 lines of code, maybe you can see it, where it go wrong?
It is an animation of 1 minute..with use of several sound effects, and almost at the end, 1 minute: stays "play form 0"
and half-way i want to create a label, when it cliked jump after this minute.. (i've you want i can also send you the .oam ( 987kb ))
thanks anyway

DB2 9.7 DFACT.SQL syntax error in Import ABAP phase - System Copy
Hi all. I'm trying a system copy with a source system SAP ECC 6.0 ehp4 based on NW 701 and db2 LUW 9.1 .
As it seems supported by SAP, i'm using db2 LUW 9.7 in target system.
O.S. is Windows 2008.
I got an error in phase "Import ABAP".
Sapinst.log says:

Looking into import_monitor.java.log i found that the problem is in dfact import.
I've looked into sapdfact.log and i found:

So as you can see it seems that there's some syntax error in dfacl.log. The wrong SQL statement referred by sapdfact.log is

Am i missing something?
Data in referred tables (infocubes) isn't really important.
Is there a safe way to proceed?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Simone ZaffalonAnd this is the strange point: my source system is not a BI and my dataclasses .SQL files are not empty.
Me too i would expect that the files should be empty but instead they are full of object definitions.
For example i have APPL0.SQL that contains a list of all tables of ECC system, for example
tab: MAMT
sql: CREATE TABLE "MAMT"
("MANDT" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000003)
DEFAULT '000' NOT NULL,
"MATNR" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000018)
DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
"SPRAS" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000001)
DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
"MEINH" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000003)
DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
"MTXID" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000002)
DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
"LFDNR" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000002)
DEFAULT '00' NOT NULL,
"MAKTM" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000040)
DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL)
IN "&location&"
INDEX IN "&locationI&"
LONG IN "&locationL&"
COMPRESS YES;
ALTER TABLE "MAMT" LOCKSIZE ROW;
and like this for all others tables.
What would occur if i launch an import with such .SQL files?
(shuld i put this question to another thread or is fine for you to answer on this?)
Thank you again.
