I sent an e-mail with pictures. It seems there were many pics or it was too heavy. It didn't sent, but I cannot receive any e-mails either. It seems as the laptop is still trying to send the pictures

two Firmware updates back I never had this issue. weather its apple or the att update i do not know.. but its really pain and bad service when you pay mega bucks for a service that used to work, you pay for the unlimited Data plan to get all the bells whisles and all you get is this please try again.. I can use Youtube to post my videos no problem. but if i MMS pictures/ videos to anyone always fails.(3x repeat before works). well lets see reset my phone check.. delete all my network setting which will take me about 45 mins to redo because yes i have that many. check. doesn't work I think ATT has started filtering and or slowing MMS service way down and its very buggy..
yeah let me unplug my tv blow on it and then put the nentendo game back and it it should work.. Really If it dont work correctly just ask support for some smoke and mirros to solve your major intermitting problems.

Help, I ehave iphone5, boyfriend has Motorola Android, I can send him texts, with and without photos, he receives them right away. When he sends me a text, with or without pictures, I get nothing until I do a hard shutdown of my phone and when it comes back on, messages older than 4-5 hours pop up. Sometimes they don't arrive at all and he is forcecd to use email.
Please tell me how to fix this problem. I have gone through Technical Support many, many times, resetting networks etc., trouble with voicemail, now getting text messages "blank" from Unknown. AT&T says it is there software problem. I have had so many problems since receiving this phone, on-going daily calls to AT&T.
Can anyone out there help me with the issue of being able to receive text messages from my boyfriends Anroid?

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Problem sending MMS/Picture messages

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem:
I'm finding that if i try to send someone a picture message along with a typed message, as soon as i hit send i get a little message saying its converting and then it just stays stuck on "sending". It never actually sends the message.
I realized this two days later when a friend said they had not received my text. I resent the picture without a typed message and then they suddenly received BOTH pictures (the original with the message and the new one).
Sounds like a weird software to me? Any thoughts?

Thank you everyone for reporting this issue. I can understand that it would be frustrating to have to try multiple times to send the same message. I have a Nexus myself and tried with a few other Nexus' here and was not able to duplicate the issue. Since there are multiple people having this issue, I will escalate this issue to our product team to further investigate this issue. I will need more details to troubleshoot. Do you notice this only happening in a certain location? Does it happen when picking up 3G, 4G or both? Do you get an error message or what exactly happens when trying to send MMS? Does this happen only when the signal is low, or with full signal?
Also, try removing the battery and SIM card for about 30 seconds. Toggle airplane mode and network mode for a few seconds, then retest.

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

Problem sending pictures by text

When I send a photo by text message, it does not work. It is always coming up with 'General Problems'. I have tried everything and I cannot figure it out. I can send the pictures to my Facebook, just not by text. Any suggestions??

Oh. I did not realize that. I am sure that I used to send images by text before. So, BBM can only be used with other BlackBerry users? Can it be used somehow with someone has an iphone or samsung?

A while ago I asked why I could send pictures thru my verizon/outlook email, but I send it thru gmail now no problems.

I asked before why I could not send pictures thru my verizon email or my work (outlook email thru my phone) but only by wifi.
If I took it off wifi the pictures go through, no problem. SO I go through gmail no problems but never got an answer why it doesn't go through in the first place.
Anyway, wondering if the following is related. Once a day, I do get a message on my phone, "sign in failed", which has to do with my verizon account.
I have tried to google this question but I am getting no where. my password has not changed, its not affecting my receiving emails.

The issues outlined in your message appear to be associated with authentincation lucass1428! Try changing the password for the email rendering the sign in failed error, and test. Keep us posted.

I have recently tried sending pictures through BBM to other contacts with various BlackBerry devices. There seems to be a problem when trying to send pictures that I have saved on my memory card (Lexar 8GB MicroSD) that have been sourced from the internet (via the Mobile Browser). The pictures have been saved from websites such as wikipedia and facebook and I haven't been able to send any of the pictures over BBM. I also tried saving other pictures from the internet to my computer and transferring them onto my memory card with a USB cord and then trying to send the pictures with BBM; same result: they would not send.
There are two processes I have followed and they are detailed below:
1) Through BBM Chat Window
- Conversation window with contact is open
- Hit Menu Key > Send Picture
- Picture Selected
- Set Caption window displayed, caption selected. Press Send
- Select Image Size window displayed
- Image Size selected (I've tried selecting different image sizes with no change in result)
- Press OK
- Nothing happens, screen returns normal. No loading sign, nothing. Its like nothing ever happened
2) Through Media Browser
- Picture Selected in Browser
- Hit Menu Key > Send or Share > Send to Messenger Contact
- Dialogue Box appears: "Send File 'file name here' to Contact Name"
- Select OK
- Select Image Size window displayed
- Image Size Selected (I've tried selecting different image sizes with no change in result)
- Press OK
- Nothing happens, screen returns normal. No loading sign, nothing. Its like nothing ever happened
Also this ONLY happens when I'm trying to send pictures that have been saved from the internet (through mobile browser). Pictures that I have taken with the camera have always sent to contacts fine, please note that pictures from the camera are saved to the same memory card (Lexar 4GB MicroSD).

I've never seen that error before. I suggest you do a backup first, Ensure the BlackBerry smartphone is running the most current version of BlackBerry Device Software. For more information on updating the BlackBerry Device Software, see KB16068.

when I could open iPhoto the library had tripled... photos from years ago from my iPhone and iPhoto had somehow come back onto it (even though I deleted them), the "faces" files had turned into their own photos, photos tripled (some smaller versions some bigger), and loads of random clip art and images I had never seen was on it. There was over 40,000 photos. It was so weird
Nothing weird. That happens when you import one iPhoto Library into another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
As for deletions:
Drag the image from the Event to the iPhoto Trash. Empty it. Then Empty the System Trash. That removes it from the hard disk.
If that has failed in the past it was due to the Library being corrupted.

Has anyone experienced problems sending pictures on Imessage today? Even mail has been taking a long time to receive. I work near newark airport.

Last I checked you could not access RoadRunner outgoing mail servers from outside of the RoadRunner network (i.e., the AT&T EDGE network). You can use cwmx.com as your outgoing mail server, with no ID or password, and that will work while you are on EDGE (but now when you are on WiFi).
As for junk mail, that is the scourge of the internet. Many people have many solutions - I can share with you mine. I had all my email forwarded to a free GMail account. GMail has amazingly efficient SPAM filters, and it has cut down my spam 99%. You can configure your account on the iPhone using the "Other" shortuct in such a way that emails seem to come from your Roadrunner account. The added bonus is that the GMail outgoing server works on both EDGE and WiFi, so you dont have to worry about where you are at.

Problems sending pictures on mms (BB8320)

Before i had no problems sending pictures in mms. now all of a sudden i cant seem to send any picture mms. everytime i try to send one, it shows a clock or something left of the message and doesnt send. i hit resend but nothing happens. ive tried reducing the size, but no picture will send no matter what the size is. im really in a jam, hope you guys can help me. thanks in advance.

Look in your Options > Advanced > Service Books. Do you see the two [mms] service books, transport and client? If so, delete them both. Then...
On your BlackBerry device, go to:
1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:
