Problems texting and send pics

My boyfriend has a Andriod cellphone and I have a Iphone 5. About 3 days ago he couldn't text me, but I still could text him, what is the problem. I now can't send him pics now either. This is so frustrating. I don't know who has the problem I keep thinking its his phone and not mine. Most everyone else I text and coommunicate with has a Iphone and can text and send pics to them? Please help. Any ideas????????

Ask your phone carrier, as SMS and MMS is a carrier feature.
Make sure MMS is turn on in message settings.

I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

Hi I had the same problem and spent some time trying to get through to support, when I did they couldn't answer my querey but since then....
Every time a message is sent the indicator stops 90% along its journey and goes no farther?
The answer is simple, Apple don't seem to know it yet....
In Settings goto messages and right at the bottom click the 'Show Subject Field' to OFF.
The new upgrade has made a dogs dinner of this, you can leave it on, but DO NOT USE IT it prevents the messages from going and its far easier to turn the dammed thing off, it makes no difference to the content of the message.
Apple had me turning on 'Mobile Data' which was never needed in the past. and it is not necessary we will no doubt get an update 7.04 soon where it will either be fixed or discarded..

Downloading and sending pic message

My phone (incred 2) will not download incoming pic message at first I just thought it was the ones from the i phone but apparently it is from all phone the message i receive is unable or error downloading i have just about had it with this phone, it has been replaced twice for manufacturer damage

I can see how frustrating it can be to not be able to use a feature that is available on your phone and plan. Especially being SMS/MMS features. When did this start happening? Can you please make sure your message settings are set to the following steps: Go to Messages application > Settings > MMS > Auto Receive checked > Maximum message size 1200K. You can also dial *228 [send], option 1 to re-program. Once completed, delete all text messages, and restart phone.

Mobile Numbers not showing up for group messages and sending pics

When I want to send a picture from my albums, the cell phone numbers for my contacts are not an option....any idea why? When I go to my messages and then choose the photo it is okay. All users I am sending to are iphone users.

Lets figure out just where those texts are going! There are many apps that can be downloaded from the Play Store for Android phones that will allow messages to be sent over the internet, and therefore they are not actually text messages and will not show up in our records. Even Facebook has their own messaging app available that does this.
If you have an iPhone, they come with a service called iMessage that allows for messages to other Apple devices be sent via the internet, and this will also not show up on our records. These are all ways to bypass our actual texting services, and since these messages are not being sent as texts they do not show up on our records.

Problem viewing and saving pics on iphone 4s

Just got the phone yesterday and went to att store to transfer my contacts and pictures from my old LG phone. Now, I cannot save or preview any pictures on my 4s! Also, when I go to open the photo app it crashes autoatically! I just did the update and no success! please help!

I have an IPhone 5. I am having difficulty getting and sending texts. Some I don't get until I completely shut down the phone and turn it back on.

I have an IPhone 5. Software is up to date. Having problems receiving texts and sending them. Sometimes it take for the phone to be shut down and restarted before the texts are received.

The basic way malware works is that it runs a program on the device. However, the iOS does not allow any program to be downloaded or installed onto the device, unless they are from the App Store. You didn't come from the App Store? Then you can't come in. It's as simple as that.

I am just trying to confirm this for a friend---that texting and sending photos via text does not use up my data allowance. Can anyone confirm this for me?

After thinking about this a bit more, we would need to know HOW you text and send photos.
Sending SMS/MMS text/photos DOES NOT use up your data allowance. This is what I assumed when you simply said "texting and sending photos via text".
After thinking further, SMS/MMS is not the only way people "text and send photos via text. For example, iPhones can use iMessage and THOSE messages would use up your data allowance for actual messages sent via iMessage to/from other iPhones.
Other apps have their own texting capabilities which will ALSO use up your data allowance. Examples would be Facebook, Skype, Twitter, Instagram, Tango, etc...
If you are simply sending via SMS/MMS, then no you are not using up your data allowance. If you are utilizing some other method, then the answer could very well be yes.

How do I take an IPhoto and send it as a FILE to someone?

This may very well be a profound delimma to some. To others a raison d'etre and serch caves in the Andes for a wiseman. To me, it's a matter of getting published in a guitar magazine. Seriously. Use Apple mail - in your applications folder or can be set in the iPhoto preferences as the e-mail client - attach the photo and set the mail format to plain text and send - it will go as an attached file
1 - Launch Apple Mail
2 - create an e-mail
3 - using the photo browser near the upper right hand corner of the message header to browse photos find the photo you and and attach it
4 - under the format menu set message format to "Plain text"
5 - Click on Send

Can it be done? I am having a hard time figuring that out. Can I send a picture I take using text feature? Not having to send via email or using bluetooth? You know how other phones, you just choose a picture and choose to send the picture and then you choose the contact to send to.... How do I do that with the curve? I need to send pictures and sending via email doesnt work when I need the picture to go through right away. Help!
Also, I have been having this huge problem... I get a phone call or make a phone call and the phone goes back to my screen saver and not the phone call screen where it shows how long you are on the phone, the screen where it shows you are on a phone call. It has been that sometimes the phone doesnt hang up and since the call stays on the screen saver screen I dont realize it and people on the phone are listening to my conversations. Or i accidently hit a button without realizing it and it calls someone but I dont know this because the phone doesnt show me its making a phone call and I hear voices.... not in my head, coming from the phone. Or i make a phone call and think the call didnt go through and start going through phone book and other options on my phone without realizing the person I called is already on the phone. I hope I made sense.

The problem is with the new operating system and sending photo via email when used in my iPad. From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow.

Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
