Problems to Download Dreamweaver CS4 with Akamai Download Manager!

I want to download Dreamweaver CS4 Italian Windows Trial version.
I have Internet Explorer 7, PC with OS Windows XP x64bit Corporate, Core2Quad Q9650, Motherboard MSI P45Platinum with Ethernet 10/100/1000,
4GBRAM,3 HDD 500GB WesternDigital,Nvidia GeForce 9400GT.
I have installed "Akamai Download Manager ActiveX" control asked on the top of window popup.
Clicked Yes:Installation confirmation.
But I have tried to click the button "Download" and just one window with this message appears and disappears immediately:

I can't download anything. Why?
I have disable Pop-ups Blocker, and disabled also Anti-Phishing Filter.
Disabled also Antivirus and the Firewall.
Set and lowered Security Protection from Tools>Internet Options: to "Medium"; and also, another time, set to "Personalized" with all the controls
switched to "Active".
Set Privacy>Settings>"Accetta tutti i cookie"(lowered to full bottom).
I have read this Akamai Download Manager FAQ:
-"Nothing happens when I click the download link"
If nothing happened after you clicked the download link, either your pop-up blocker or a high security setting on your web browser may have stopped
the Akamai DLM window from opening.
If you have a pop-up blocker enabled in your web browser or in your Internet toolbar (such as the Yahoo! toolbar or the Google toolbar), you will
need to disable your pop-up blocker to start your download. For additional information, and for instructions on changing your security setting, see
the "Akamai Download Manager system requirements" (ServiceNote kb400530).
Note: The download manager can sometimes take up to a minute to load. Please allow time for the initial loading before assuming there is a problem
Thus, I have followed this rules in Akamai Download Manager System Requirements:
Internet Explorer 7
1) Access your Internet options from the Windows Control Panel (Internet Options) or by selecting Tools > Internet Options in Internet Explorer
2) Select the Security Tab
3) Click Custom Level
4) Scroll through the list of security options and set:
-ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Download signed ActiveX controls > Enable or Prompt
-ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Enable or Prompt
-ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting > Enable or Prompt
-Downloads > File download > Enable
-Miscellaneous > Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints > Enable
-Scripting > Active scripting > Enable
5) Click OK
6) Click OK again
But nothing changes.
On my PC I have also this installation: "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 5" and "Java(TM)6 Update 15".
But the download doesn't start at all.
1) How can I do to download Dreamweaver CS4-Windows-ITALIAN language?
2) Is it possible to download 364.8 MegaBytes without Akamai Download Manager?

another option you may have is resettofactory
start- run- type:
cmd
press enter

cd c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
press enter
type:
loader.exe /resettofactory
press enter
please perform a backup first
test your browser before you restore your backup, and to be ssafe I would do a selective restore
open DTM, go to backup/restore- advanced
top left click on file-open
find your backup, it will load on the left side
you current working BB will be on the right side
transfer ONLY the absolute important databases from the left to the right(address, cal, phone logs, messages, sms, tasks, memo)... dont do any that you dont know and dont do any OPTIONS ones

Unable to download Enterprise Preview with Akamai Download Client

Hi,
I am unable to download the Enterprise Preview (x64) British English with the Akamai client. I keep getting "Cannt save in this location, please try another".
I have verified the usual stuff. User rights, folder redirection. I even created a Temp folder on the C drive, verified that there was enough space and that Everyone had Full access rights to it, but no luck.
The OS I am running is Windows 8.1 in an Enterprise Environment. I have successfully downloaded software with Akamai before, but it keeps failing on Microsoft stuff.
Can someone please provide me with direct download links for the ISO of the latest technical preview of Windows 10 with English GB language, clean install?

If you have this issue but need the 32bit or the US version, change gb to us for languages and x64 to x86 for 32bit.

Can't download Flash CS5 with Akamai Download Manager!!

I'm working at a company which has high security environment.
Akamai Download Manager starts to download a trial Flash CS5. However, it stops quickly and downloads nothing (zero byte).
I want to download a trial Flash CS5 without Akamai Download Manager!!
Is there other ways?

Try without Akamai, there should be something to click for that...

Setting up Dreamweaver CS4 with PHP testing server... Live View doesnt work

Im trying to setup Dreamweaver CS4 with a php website im
making. Ive setup the site information, and provided a testing site
(XAMPP), and i can see the fully rendered .php pages in the Live
View tab. However, say i change some of the text in the .php file
(say from Hello to Hi) and
then click in the Live View tab - the page does not update. It
seems to do something, bit just returns the same.
How do i set it up so, like with plain .html pages, you can
make a change to the source code and instantly see the change in
Live View?
(At the moment i have to make the change to the source code,
save it, click Live View to cancel it, and then click Live View
again).
Background:
Ive setup XAMPP (G:\XAMPP\)
Ive setup vhosts in apache.
Ive stored my websites in G:\Websites
Ive set the testing server to G:\Websites\site, where "site"
is setup as a vhost and correctly displays when entered into a
browser.
Ive set the url prefix to
http://site/
Ive set local root to G:\Websites\site
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try using F5 to refresh the page? If that doesn't
work for you,
then you'll have to drop and restart Live view. No need to
save and reload
the page.

Does Dreamweaver Work with Serena Version Manager? If not,
what does everyone use for source control?

So once you have Serena configured in LabVIEW are you able to right-click in the project and select Show Differences? As mentioned in this tutorial the Graphical Differencing feature is only officially supported by Visual Source Safe and Perforce, however you may be able to get some information from this. I am not familiar with Serena, so it could be possible that it has something similar built in as well.

Trouble reinstalling CS4 using akamai downloader Windows 7 IE8

I have recently done an XP Professional upgrade to
Windows 7 install.
I am needing to reinstall CS$ Design premium on this machine and am having trouble with the akamai downloader. Apparently it doesnt like Windows 7 with either IE8 or Firefox 3.5.
I have disabled the popup blocker and even the protected mode on IE8 without luck.
I would be content with downloading the product with a standard download but do not know how to disable the downloader.
Does anyone know who to disable it or the steps to do it?
I have made an attempt with support but they tend to ask the most frustrating questions and the time lapse makes it worse.

I had a similar problem with CS3, but IE8 works after an un-install.

I'm looking at purchase options. SoftwareKing has a Dreamweaver CS4 download for 199.99. This this a legitimate copy of Dreamweaver? Are there other download options to save on the cost?

This is not an official answer to your question, but I can tell you about my experience. I purchased the Adobe Master Suite CS4 as a download only ($399.00) and have been very pleased with my decision. I was able to properly register it and everything. The biggest disadvantage is the fact that there is no book to go with it. I can live with that. By the way, they have Dreamweaver CS4 for $99.90. The URL is http://oem-box.com/

Downloading with Akamai Download Manager ?

Is there anyway that i can download Acrobat 8 Professional free trial without this Akamai Download Manager or adobe download manager ?
its pissing me off i can't downloading with it , I read the help and i followed the instruction but i still can't .
why don't they just put a link for people who want to download with ADM and other link for normal download ?

I had exactly the same problem with the crappy Akami download manager, my way around it was to copy out the url from the url tab found in the Akami manager (next to status) directly in to my address bar and downloaded direct. For me it was url found below...

Where to download Dreamweaver CS4

I am currently using a textbook that follows CS4, and I have downloaded CS5. But I have noticed several differences between the two. To make things simpler and easier follow, I would like to download CS4. I have searched for the link, but the only links I am getting are links to CS5. Does anyone know where I can download a trial version of CS4?

In the past when a new version comes out, Adobe takes down the earlier product trials.
If you don't have CS4 already, I don't know where you could get it except to purchase a copy from Amazon.com

Need to download Dreamweaver CS4

I purchased Dreamweaver CS4 a few years ago, and now I need to intall it on a new computer. (I will be upgrading soon to CS6, but I can't do that yet.) I can't find anywhere to download CS4. Can someone point me to a download site?

Thanks. I downloaded the .7z file and the .exe file. But when I try to run the .exe file, I am asked to "choose the program you want to use to open this file". The file is called ADBEDRWVRCS4_LS1 and it's file type just says "file", not .exe. I wasn't expecting that. Am I missing something?

I´m already registered with my valid Licence key. But now I have to install Dreamweaver CS4 (Student Edition) on my new computer and I can´t find my installation CD´s.
Can anybody help me?
I already tried to install the "normal" Dreamweaver CS4 installation files. But finally my Student Licence key was always rejected.

Also make sure that you also install the FWs updater:

If you visit a support site to find out about using your current product, the following will be most helpful. After coming up with the workaround described below, I found Adobe's non-marketing support content (i.e., the actual information someone is looking for when they want to use their current product) via this link:

A Search Engine Workaround
Found a workaround for locating PDF copies of previous versions of Adobe user's manuals: search using Google's "site:" operator. For instance, to find CS4 resources published in US English, go to your browser's search bar (make sure Google is the designated search engine), and type:

Note: Remember to put a space between the last slash and the search term.
This worked for Bridge and Version Cue, Dreamweaver (help, extending, and API reference) Extension Manager, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Media Encoder, and Photoshop (includes "Extended" features)
Found Acrobat 9 user's manual with: "site:help.adobe.com help.pdf 9" where "help.pdf" is typically at the end of each filename and, "9", would help filter down to the version I was looking for.
