When I connect my Iphone to the computer Ai have to sync automatically my outlook calendar. Never had any issues except with the latest download that tell is doing some sync over the air with ICloud and that I can go to my Iphone and change that. So far I have not been able to sync my Iphone calendar with my outlook calendar for tge whole week

Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud?

Did you ever solve the problem? I have an iPhone 4 and don't use the Cloud. I sync the iPhone with my Windows 7 Outlook using iTunes. It worked perfectly until I upgraded the iPhone to iOS 7.0.2 and now the calendar entries from the iPhone are updated in Outlook but the calendar entries in Outlook are not synced to the iPhone. I get this message. Any help would be appreciate. I went to the "Genius Bar" at my local Apple Store, they were clueless and no help at all.

I had my suspicions about something like that. Apparently Apple wants to have FULL CONTROL of its users lives. I have been using Apple products since the late 80’s and I, so far, still do.
I find it a bit funny but mostly stupid that Apple has removed the syncing function between iPhone and Mac. So, even if you are a ’loyal’ Apple user, you now have to publish your whole life on iCloud if you want to copy your calendar and contacts to your OWN iPhone from your computer/vice versa, because that is what this is all about. Otherwise, you can’t sync between the iPhone and your computer, even if you are loyal to Apple, using both their laptop and their phone.
I do not want to do that and therefore I now have decided to leave the Apple platform for good. So, next time I choose a computer, a phone etc, it will not be an Apple product. Goodbye Apple!

Try this...
Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars. Scroll down to Calendars and set "Sync" as desired.

What program is your calendar in on your computer? What computer OS do you use? If it is a supported calendar application, you can connect the iPhone to the computer, open iTunes, on the Info page select the calendar and sync. Too many other variables right now to answer your question easily. Please answer the earlier questions.

Then ask Verizon what the issue is and why there is no option for calendar.

I am having trouble syncing calendar into my iphone. When I plug in my iphone and sync it to my computer and itunes the calendar software doesnt follow. I have tried using gmail, but I am not quite figuring out how icloud works with all of it.

I wasn't aware any such option exists. There is an option to sync calendar events with a supported calendar app on your computer.
A Yahoo account created with the Yahoo account preset on the iPhone includes options to sync Yahoo contacts, calendars, reminders, and notes over the air with your Yahoo online contacts, calendars, reminders, and notes.
If no change after deleting and recreating the account on your iPhone, contact Yahoo customer or technical support.

I can't sync my iCloud calendar with my iPhone calendar

This whole iCloud sync thing has me totally confused. I set my iPhone to sync with my Mac (I thought), yet nothing appears on my Mac computer calendar or my iCloud calendar. I use my iPhone calendar more than any other calendar so I'm constantly needing to transfer to computer and iCloud from iPhone. Why do they not sync? Then there's the issue of creating a google calendar. I can't import anything from anywhere to that. Either I'm brain dead or something is wrong.

If you sync your desktop iCal with iCLoud and your iPhone with iCloud then they will all be in sync. I do that and my desktop iCal and iPhone Cal are in sync.
If you prefer to not use iCLoud, go to your desktop iTunes, and sync you iPhone with it. On the Info tab select the Sync iCal Calendars.

There is no way to duplicate or import this to a Mac. Your Mac runs a totally different operating system.
iBooks can now import to Mac since OS X Mavericks came out about a month ago. But that does not apply to magazines or iOS Newsstand publications.

I installed the latest itunes 9.0.1 the other day, since then my ipod nano ,3rd gen, wont sync, a message comes up when you plug it in saying 'new hardware found, there was a problem with installation and may not load properly' then continues to do nothing. when i plug in my sisters ipod 6ogb 5th gen on her itunes it says 'ipod service module (32 bit) has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
tried resetting the ipods but that didnt helpnot a computer wizz so need help in simple terms please!!

Good job, Natters. On doing the same search through my own registry I find the same results and my Device manager *isn't* blank. So I'm not so inclined to think it's the SP3 problem anymore. Again.
So the other thing that I would be worried about is a malware infection. *Apropos* adware can cause a blank Device Manager, although other similar varieties may also cause similar problems.
In order to get that possibility off the table, I think you should try heading to a reputable Malware removal help forum where somewhere can have a good look through a HiJackThis log of your PC, and can advise you how to fix any problems that show up. There's a list of reputable malware help forums at the bottom of the following page (although there are others out there):
