Problems updating billing info

I need to update the cc on file with itunes, but when I click 'done' it keeps saying it doesn't match what the bank has on file. I have verified the info several times, but this will not stop popping up. The original card was mine, the new one is my husbands (two different accounts), if that helps.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

    To purchase from iTunes you are required to fill in an address section under the billing info. You don't have to put in a credit card, just a name and address, so that iTunes can send you receipts later.
    I had to do this when I first started buying things from iTunes, you just go to Account>Billing Address> Edit

    What exactly happens when you try to buy something ? If you've already removed the card from your account then iTunes shouldn't be asking for any details about it.
    If you log into into your account is the card still shown . On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

    the security code error is actually generic and just means the card is being rejected, double check your billing info to make sure it matches the card exactly or contact the card issuer to make sure they arent blocking it because of a fraud filter or something similar

  • Error Message when updating billing info

    I need to update my billing info but I'm getting an error message that says the problem is on Adobe's end and I should try again later. Sometimes the loading signal just goes directly to the error message without letting me enter my information first, but usually I enter my information, and then I get the message.
    I've tried many times over the course of a week, on three different browsers, and while signed into both MyAdobe and the Creative Cloud. The error message came up each time.
    I've tried using the support chat twice, but the first time the tech disconnected before I could respond, and the second time I was kept on hold for an hour and half before I got an error message saying to reopen my browser.
    I'm concerned my account will be closed, or I'll get charged a late fee or something along those lines, if the Adobe website keeps preventing me from updating my billing info.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Problems With Billing Info On iTunes...

    Ok, I've read SEVERAL people on here complaining of the same exact thing that just happened to me last night.  Here's the story: apparently, i had purchased 5 songs on iTunes and put them on my iPod with the same debit card I've been using for the past 2 years I've been using it (on iTunes, among other places).  This was on 5/25.  Yesterday, I logged onto iTunes to purchase another song and it kept telling me that my security code for my card was invalid.  I kept re-entering the number several times to no avail.  Then, it went from saying my security code was invalid to saying that they cannot process my request at this time.  So I went to the support "express" lane and e-mailed a technical guy.  While waiting for a response, I figured I'd give my bank a call to see what was happening.  Apparently, they put a hold on my card because they noticed something "fishy" (a $1.00 charge and then a $1.00 credit) without notifying me.  Because my card was on this "hold", Apple/iTunes was unable to bill me for the five songs I purchased on 5/25.  So my bank then cleared the hold, and said there should be no problems after that...like I've said I've used the same card/same address everything for the past two years now without modifying or changing anything.  So I went back in, and tried entering the same card again, and this time I got the dreaded, "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction."  And that's the same message I kept getting.  I've called three different numbers (no one helped), and I've e-mailed the support express lane from two different e-mail accounts. 
    Here's the response I got from both:
    "After reviewing your account, I have contacted a supervisor for assistance.  They told me that they fixed the problem.  Please wait at least thirty minutes before accessing your account.  This is necessary to prevent the error message from returning." 
    Guess what?  I waited well over an hour, and am still getting the same **** message.  Just so I didn't have some outstanding charges, I went back and entered my credit card information (to just pay for the five songs that had yet to be billed on 5/25) and it worked and the bill went through.  So I went back in and tried to change it back to my debit card (who wants to pay interest, when you have never had to for the past 2 years??!) and I'm still receiving the same **** message.  I've read all of these horror stories of how people went back and forth with this "support" over 30 times...that is ridiculous!  Why the **** isn't there some number you can call to complain on this *** backwards "wait 24 hours before we give you a scripted response" nonsense?

    And before this problem existed, there was never an option for "NONE" at the Billing Info menu for my iTunes account.  When I logged on after the support allegedly corrected the problem, the "NONE" feature randomly appeared!  I've even tried clicking NONE and then DONE to update it, and even that gives me the "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction." message.

    A couple days ago, Itunes asked me to change my password. I did. Then it asked me to update my billing info. The problem is, I can't *get* to the billing info because it keeps asking for my password. I was technically signed in, so I went to my account and went to change the credit card information (which is still correct, btw...I was just hoping that re-entering it would fix it). However, when I clicked "edit credit card info" it tells me my session has timed out. Every time. And its only been a couple of seconds. At the suggestion of Apple Support, I've changed my password at least 5 times and am getting the same results. What can I do here?

    Same issue. I complete one purchase and on the next one I get stuck in an endless loop of it asking for my password over and over. I have to close iTunes, reopen and it's fine, but that is ridiculous to do for every purchase.

    Every time I try and buy music or applications via iTunes store I am asked to update my billing info. My billing info is correct and doesn't need updating. I've tried entering an alternate credit card, changing my password etc – as suggested on other threads – but iTunes store still won't let me purchase anything. This is really frustrating. Does anyone have an idea of how to get out of this hole?

    I think iPhone is jus a bloody rip off I downloaded a app now I can't download another app I called customer service more then 10 times today they took away 15 pounds of my call time so I would recommend everyone not to use I phone they don't give much help but they love ripping poor customers like myself

    For a credit card to be accepted (debit cards are no longer accepted as far as I know) it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and be issued by a bank in your country - so if you are now in India, and therefore have an Indian iTunes account, then the card needs to have been issued by an Indian bank. If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management
