Problems updating Photoshop CS6 - Error U44M1I210

Hi Everyone.  I'm trying to update my Photoshop CS6 Extended with associated bridge and camera Raw but I keep getting a U44M1I210 error message. It's VERY frustrating.  When I search the Adobe website for the update it says I must do the update from within the program - back to the U44M1I210 error every  time :-(  Can anyone please help me?

    I have same setup as you.
    USE THIS PROCEDURE:
         FIRST BE CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL, PRE CLOUD, INSTALL DMG OR CD in case something      goes badly.
    THEN, DEACTIVATE YOUR RUNNING COPY OF PS6.
    UNINSTALL THAT VERSION.
    LOG ON TO CREATIVE CLOUD AND CLICK ON "APPS" DOWNLOAD PHOTOSHOP.
    ONCE INSTALLED, OPEN IT AND GO TO HELP>update.WHEN THIS IS DONE YOU WILL HAVE VERSION 13.1.2

  • Adobe Error Code: U46M2P6 when trying to update Photoshop CS6.

    I have tried updating Photoshop CS6 three times now and have gotten this message each time:
    Of course there is no record of this error code online. I have installed and RE-installed CS6 and fussed with all of the
    font issues. My photoshop STILL will not update and STILL crashes on a whim whenever it feels like it.
    Any help?!??? I'm BEYOND FRUSTRATED at this point!! I would just forget it, but I need Photoshop for my work.

    You need to provide much more info: What files are you trying to place into what document? What are the document sizes, resolution, color mode etc.? Anything else we should know about? This could be a million things from color profile issues to color space mismatches to the files to be placed being damaged or badly structured or a importer module being broken. Also provide exact system info and crash logs:

    I am not able to update photoshop CS6 to the latest version. I have this problem on two computers. I get an error message which refers me to a file in the ../common files\adobe\installer directory, but the file is not readable (gz).
    I have repeatedly tried to install the update. I have de-installed the program and re-installed it, but am still unable to apply the update. I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Nobody can tell anything without system information. As a start, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall, try again.

  • Is there any reasonable way to update Photoshop CS6 to 13.1.2?

    I never had a problem updating my CS6 products until I signed up for CC. I run both versions of Photoshop, CC because it is more capable, and CS6 because ALL my plug-ins work. Now that CC has decided to do my CS6 updating for me,  I can't get the new version to install.
    Let me editorialize a moment; in a more forthright world, the CC installers should be advertised as the betaware that they are. A casual glance at the forum posts more than proves this.
    To be fair, I did remove the non US English localizations and legal files. Those were nothing more than 'Dust bunnies' on my hard drive, which would never have been left in place if the original CS6 installer had offered that rather obvious option. Adobe has offered nothing in the way of solutions except the speculative answers that removal of this 'cruft' is PROBABLY the cause of the update failure, and that uninstalling CS6 and reinstalling MIGHT remedy the problem. If not, it has been suggested to run a CS6 cleanup utility prior to reinstallation. Nowhere is there mention of collateral damage (loss of plug-ins, actions, etc.) which might result from following this approach. Such a blunderbuss solution is the equivalent of a medical team removing a lung and kidney to alleviate the discomfort of an ingrown toenail.
    First, my CS6 is a perpetually licensed product. What gives Adobe the right to lump it in with a cloud product that needs to be reactivated far too frequently. Secondly, how do such poorly written installers make it through in-house quality assurance?
    Any software suite will have components that a user will never want to install, and many will leave garbage like language files, of use only in other corners of the world. These things beg to be removed, and until CC came along, there was never a penalty for doing so.
    If there are any real experts at Adobe, perhaps they can lobby the designers to write better installers or perhaps come up with a far less painful workaround.
    Finally, browsing the forums has convinced me that the cloud-only approach has left many of Adobe's customers monumentally dissatisfied. I count myself among them.
    The ultimate test of the cloud will be server response, security and down-time. So far, the jury remains out on security and down-time, but server response is already dreadful at certain times of day. For example, it took me almost five minutes to log in this evening. What will happen when someone needs to reactivate prior to an important rush project, and some hacker, internal foul-up or an act of God has brought the servers to their knees?

  • Font / text edit problem in photoshop CS6

    Hi there,
    I have a strange text edit problem in Photoshop CS6 running on Mavericks.
    Every time I use the text-tool in PS, write a sentence, mark it and change something like color, font size etc., the marked text vanishes.
    I have to "undo" the last step and the changed text appears again.
    Every time!
    I have a clean installed CS6 with no plugins and no other than system fonts installed.
    Everything on a new Mac Pro with OS X 10.9.5
    Any clues? Thanks.

    Do you have the latest updates for photoshop cs6?
    You can use Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6 to check if there are any available.
    Also, if you go to Help>System Info from within photoshop cs6, you can see the Photoshop Version in the top line.
    You should be on version 13.0.6
    See if turning off Dictation solves the issue.
    Go to System Preferences ---> Dictation and Speech -----> select OFF radio button .

    The problem was not about permission issues.
    I solve the problem by:
    install photoshop CS5 (it is launched without any problem)
    Install photoshop CS6 where I have always the same problem as before.
    I copy  theCS5  "Workspaces" and "Presets" files into theCS6 corresponding directories.
    Launch photoshop cs6 with the "CTRL+SHIFT+ALT" and modify the "Preferences" entry about performances (for workspaces) bedore to quit Photoshop CS6.
    Now it is ok.
