Problems uploading new software

AAHHHHHHHHH!!!Please help i can not upgrade the software on my ipod from 1.1.1 to 1.2 I have downloaded itunes 7 and when i connect my ipod up it asks me if i would like to upgrade to the newer software. But after a few minutes it says i have had an unknown error (1417). I have tried removing and re-installing itunes but nothing works. Any suggestions??????

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

I have a problem uploading a new recording promt
THe elements are
UC520
CCA 1.9
300M available in flash
Windows 7
The wav file is about 20 sec and 170K
The link is excelent (remote configruation with a great BW)
I am configuring the AA from the CCA remotely, it permits recording and saving the file . wav, but when I click "Appy", it shows a message error telling me that there is a FTP server error, (image attached), bur there is no other TFP server up in the laptop
I have tried:
Rebboting the laptop in Windows 7, and having just the CCA open
Reloading the router
Reloading the software
In a laptop with Windows Vista
Upgrading CCA version to 2.1
Changing the selection in AA from the day and night schedule (complex) to the one schedule (simple)
I have checked "windows services started" in botht laptops
Upload the wav file to the router, but I couldn't find the other wav files for the AA, this is my dir

I'm going to agree with the previous poster. The web gui has always worked for me. Anyhow you should upgrade to the latest CCA version since this is a bug related to CCA bug which I reported in october which makes it impossible to upload prompts using CCA (

Also there might be a problem when using Windows 7/Vista. I've encountered a couple of interesting malfunctions when using these OS's with CCA. So I'm stuck with XP on my CCA/UC computer.

Computer running slow, and problems downloading new software

i have a powerbook g4 and it running slow at times. my dad bought a new one and gave me this one and my powerbook runs half of the speed of his. this is my 1st mac and i am trying to figure it out. my mac tends to freeze up sometimes when i am online. my cursor indicates that it is loading, but it takes a long time to load. most of the times i just force quit safari and try it again. also, when i try to install software off of the net, it ask me to pick a software to use to open it. i have tried almost every software on the computer and i have yet to run the installer. my email account is on hotmail, and my mac will not allow me to go straight to hotmail.com to retrieve emails. hotmail tells me that i have to download new software to be able to retrieve my mail, and that brings me to the above problem with downloading software. my mac runs on mac OS X version 10.3.9 if that is any help to you, thanks

Welcome! You bring up a lot of issues but most suggest simply a need for some routine file maintenance. One of the best resources is here:

There are a lot of articles; focus on those with titles about maintenance, tuning, and freeing space on the hard drive
It would be helpful to know a little more about your PB, like the processor speed and the amount of RAM installed. Both are available by selecting "About the Mac..." from the blue Apple menu at the let end of the menubar.

Problem installing new software (stuffit, haven't tried others yet)

I'm the happy owner of a brand new (the laptop pro, 17") but I have a little problem:
I wanted to install Stuffit (I downloaded it from the Internet), but when I try to drag it to the Applications folder, it says "the operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items".
I don't understand, because the computer is mine, I'm the only user, and I've checked, I have read & right access to the folders.
Could someone tell me what's wrong or how I can get to finish installing this software?
(I want to buy some softwares online, but what's the pointif I can't install them!)

Problems with new software upgrade to 6.0 bundle 2534 v6.0.0.570

Hi - I hope someone can help me with this:
I synchronised my Bold 9700 with my desktop yesterday and the desktop manager requested I complete a software upgrade for the device.
When my BB 9700 had fully rebooted from this process, there was a completely different interface and many of my settings had changed. I have not had enough time to fully explore all the changes, but the most annoying is the loss of my "classic ring tone". I have gone into the menu for ring tones, which seems to have slimmed down considerably from the previous version. The new set of ring tones are not to my liking and there is nothing like my old ring tone available. The nearest one rings only once and the volume is insufficient - I have already missed several calls as a result.
I am with O2 via Carphone Warehouse, whose customer support were unable to assist yesterday.
Grateful for any advice as to how I can get my ringtone back - and also curious to know why BB think the new ring tones are good enough for this new release. They are sub-standard in my opinion.

Itunes and Iphoto not responding after uploading new software

Hi
Afew days ago I did the Apple Software Update and since then I haven't been able to get onto my Itunes or Iphoto, both of which I use quite often. Itunes just doesn't load at all and Iphoto starts to open the page but then doesn't respond at all. I am just wondering why this is happening and whether it's happened to anyone else at all? Ideally I'd like to get rid of this new update but don't know how to go about it. I'm a bit of a computer dunce so if you could offer any solution in a straightforward way I would be so grateful. Problems after new software install - 5800

Yesterday I installed software v 40.0.005 to my 5800 Music Express and I have found a few issues that I cannot seem to resolve:
1 - The appearance of the stop/snooze buttons for the Alarm Clock changed, but the stop button no longer works. Although the button actuates (turns red), no phone action follows. The only option is to snooze the alarm then go deactivate the alarm.
2 - When I scan for new music the phone does not pick up any of the music (mp3) that is on the 8gb memory chip in the phone.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

Don't tap on SNOOZE , JUST SWIPE your finger on it in the same direction of the arrow, if the colour from left to rightso swipe your finger from left to right , that's it

HT4972 I have lost photos after uploading new software, restoring took several attempts as error kept coming up , can retrieve my files

I upgraded to latest software iOS 5.11 and after following instructions and several attempts at restoring I restored but lost some photos.
These are not on the computer in sync (hard to check as computer cannot open ithmb files).
Is there a straight forward way to retrieve.
Starting to hate the iPad and will probably try the new Microsoft tablet as that will be easier to function with other devices

Problem uploading new firmware - Zen to

I thought the solution to sycronise my Zen touch with Windows Media Player was to update the firmware to version Creative Zen Touch PlaysForSure Firmware 2..0.?But this seems to have backfired on me - I am now stuck in recovery mode and I think have deleted the old firmware!?When I run either the new or old firmware it does not recognise my devise??Has anyone else encountered this problem??I now have a redundant MP3 player!?Please help!

E90 Bluetooth problem w/ new software update

Can someone help me with this. I updated to latest software and can't get bluetooth to work. I tried to re-install and etc.

Thanks for your imput. I tried your suggestion and after a few tries my keyboard was again coupled to the E90 and worked very well. But, as with earlier sucesses, closing down the phone and starting again resulted in loss of coupling. "Unable to couple..." comes every time. It looks as though the software cannot handle passwords. Authorized devices just are responded to as "unable to couple...". Frustrating!! I have really enjoyed using the E90 as a kind of netbook. 300xxx has ruined that! Nokia, do something!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem with new software 7.1

After doing the latest update on my iPhone 4S, I have experienced major problems such as; not being able to use my wifi and also my phone keeps freezing etc, has anyone else had these issues? Also how can I resolve them?
