Problems uploading photobook from Elements 10

In attempting to upload a photobook to Kodak from PSE10, I consistently receive an error message telling me that my firewall is blocking access. My W7 firewall is disabled, as I have a router.
A similar thread in 2010 about PSE9 suggested it was the size of the book, while others said it was a coding issue that would be resolved.
Does anyone know what has happened with this problem or how to fix it? I have successfully ordered numerous photo books in the past using PSE8 and earlier versions.

Go to Edit >> Preferences >> Backup/Sync and check your settings.
Use the option “Also Share on Photoshop.com” to make your albums show up on your Gallery page.
Log on to Photoshop.com where you can change Album Permissions to “Shared”
That will enable other people to access the Album if they have the URL.
You could also check your settings in the on-line Organizer if you want friends & family to view/print. Go to the album and in the left pane click on the settings “gear” icon. Then open the album properties dialog.
Make sure that the options "allow viewers to print" and "allow viewers to save" are both checked.
It can be a little confusing as there are the over arching settings of “private” and “public” and other sharing methods such as friends lists and group albums; so explore all the options.

    Rixonruss,
    The size of your photos and videos you mark in Elements for upload depicts how much data is being uploaded. However for download, only small size previews get downloaded first unless you download the originals from Elements whenever needed in any Elements workflows.

  • How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

    How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

    There is no direct link from PSE 9 to revel the way there was to photoshop.com. Revel didn't exist when PSE 9 was written and there's nothing in PSE 9 that can understand or connect with Revel. You are not going to be able to do everything you could do with photoshop.com, like keep your catalog synced. You use a web browser and find your photos to share exactly the same way you would if they were not in the organizer at all.

  • Problem uploading pictures from my computer to internet

    I just got my new imac. I have since uploaded two "events" in iPhoto and wanted to upload some of these pictures from my computer to some online programs (flikr etc..). But when I go to choose the photos to upload, I go to user - pictures - and then there is iPhoto Library and Photobooth. But photobooth is the only one that has a little arrow allowing me to choose the pictures in that folder. Iphoto library doesn't have an arrow and therefore doesn't even seem to read that there are indeed photos in the library. What is going on??
    PLEASE HELP.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
    There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
    1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
    If you're uploading to a site via a web browser, the procedure is to use the File -> Export option and export the pics to the desktop. Then upload them from there. After the upload you can trash the pics on the desktop - they are only copies and the originals are safe in iphoto.

  • Has anyone had a problem with printing from Elements 9 on a MAC?

    When I first installed Elements 9 and tried to print, all I got were blank pages.  I contacted adobe support and after an hour on the  phone, she referred me to the next level.  I then received an email from them asking me to call them and in the meantime, they suggested things I shoud do.  I did what they suggested and it worked.  I was able to print.  However, I was unable to indicate the type of paper or resolution that I wanted to print in.  So, I called them again.  It seems that on a windows PC, they give you five options for printing:  1.  Select printer, 2.  Select Settings, 3.  Select paper size, 4.  Type of print, and 5.  Select Print size.  On a MAC,  You get only three options:  Select printer, Select paper size and Select print size.  Does anyone know another way to select the settings and type of print.  I have been using Elements 4 for years with no problems.  Elements 4 gives all the  options.  I don't understand why it is not the same in Elements 9.

    Thank you so much.  You have solved my problem.  I never thought to click the down arrow.  In all the time I have been printing, on any program, the entire window opened up when I clicked on the print button.  This one never did.  I don't understand why Adobe support never told me about that when I called them.

  • Problem uploading pictures from my pc to iphone.  I get  run error -69

    I have tried many times to upload my pictures from my pc to my iphone and I get the same error every time. Ive tried only uploading one group of pictures and i does not work. The first time I synced the phone I had no problems. Now its going nuts. Anyone please help

    Much easier with iCloud Control Panel: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455
    You'll need an iCloud account (free up to 5GB).
    Using PhotoStream the iCloud control panel will create an "Uploads" folder on your PC.  Then any pic you drop in this folder will automatically upload to any iOS device you have setup with iCloud & PhotoStream turned on.

  • Problem uploading reports from CR XI to R3.1

    Hi,
    I'm running into an issue trying to upload a report from CRXI (desktop) to our R3.1 server.
    The R3.1 install was done on the system drive (C:\), but we have tried to point the FRS to a FileStore directory on a secondary drive (D:\).  Both are local drives.
    When trying to upload, there is a pause of 10 seconds (sometimes less) or so, and finally CRXI responds:
                                  Error with BusinessObjects Enterprise: File Repository Server Input is down.
    When trying to pull a report down (from server to local machine), the error is:
                                  The report could not be opened from BusinessObjects Enterprise.
                                  Possibly the report is on a different BusinessObjects Enterprise system than the one you are
                                  currently logged onto.  If this problem persists please contact your administrator.
    I get this message even though the InputRepositoryServer is up and running (looking both in the CCM and CMC).
    Under the InputFileRepository Properties in the CMC, I have tried changing the Temporary Directory and the File Store Directory, then restarting the InputFileRepository, but changing these values doesn't seem to make a difference.
    We have a firewall and virus scanner (McAfee) in place on the server, but I get the same error even when both of these are disabled/turned off.
    The only time when I can successfully upload a file from CR XI is when I run CR XI directly on the server itself, and then it goes through without a hitch.
    Based on that, I'm guessing it is network-related, but I do not have network admin rights, only local admin rights on the server, so there are places that I cannot look for problems.
    Can anyone offer any recommendations?

    I added an entry to the 'Inbound Rules' list on the firewall for the fileserver process, and it seems to work just fine.
    I used the following as the path for the program which would be allowed access:
                            %ProgramFiles%\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\fileserver.exe
    I am allowing it on all ports, though I might be able to allow it explicitly for ports 55961 and 55960, which were the ports being used by the Output and Input servers respectively.
    I will also check the other services to make sure they are allowed through also (for connectivity with Designer, etc.).
    Thanks for the help!

  • Problems uploading in Photoshop Elements 12

    Hi, I was wondering if someone can help. I have just started my free trial of photoshop elements 12 and am unable to upload pics to facebook or any of my other social media accounts. I keep receiving a message saying there is a problem with my internet connection or that a firewall may be blocking the upload. My internet connection is fine and I have disabled my avg internet security and firewall; however, I am still receiving the same message. Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

    Thanks for getting back to me Andaleeb,
    I  have tried what you have said but still no luck. I have discovered  though that unedited files will upload to facebook, but edited files  will not: am I not finishing the edit correctly? When I edit the file I  adjust what I need to adjust, save it and then go back to the organizer;  however, my photo has a red line with a padlock on it saying edit in  process, does this mean it's finished or do I need to do something else  to finish the edit?
    Thanks
    Simon.

  • Problem uploading file from mobile device to tomcat server

    Hi guys, here's how it goes.
    I'm designing a site using JSP for wireless devices like PDAs, Smartphones etc, basically any mobile device that has browser capabilities. There's a page where the user is allowed to upload a file from the mobile device, which works perfectly fine when I access the site using a PC. But when I try to upload a file from a mobile device, ( I tried using a Nokia 6680 ) , there wasn't any error but the file just wasn't stored in my server.
    Here's how the upload form looks like :
    <FORM name="filesForm" action="ProcessFileUpload.jsp" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
            <font size="1" face="arial">File :</font><br>
    <input type="file" name="file1" size="10" style="font-size: 9px;"/><br><br>
            <input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Upload Files" style="font-size: 9px;"/>
        </FORM>Here's the gist of ProcessFileUpload.jsp:
    <%
         System.out.println("");
            System.out.println("Content Type ="+request.getContentType());
            DiskFileUpload fu = new DiskFileUpload();
            // If file size exceeds, a FileUploadException will be thrown
            fu.setSizeMax(1000000);
            List fileItems = fu.parseRequest(request);
            Iterator itr = fileItems.iterator();
            while(itr.hasNext()) {
              FileItem fi = (FileItem)itr.next();
              //Check if not form field so as to only handle the file inputs
              //else condition handles the submit button input
              if(!fi.isFormField()) {
                System.out.println("NAME: "+fi.getName());
                System.out.println("SIZE: "+fi.getSize());
                System.out.println(fi.getOutputStream().toString());
               // File fNew= new File(application.getRealPath("/"), fi.getName());
             File tempFileRef  = new File(fi.getName());
             File fNew = new File(filepath.toString(),tempFileRef.getName());
         String MM_Overall_DRIVER = "org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver";
         String MM_Overall_USERNAME = "****";
         String MM_Overall_PASSWORD = "*********";
         String MM_Overall_STRING = "jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/";
         Driver DriverRecordset1 = (Driver)Class.forName(MM_Overall_DRIVER).newInstance();
         Connection ConnRecordset1 = DriverManager.getConnection(MM_Overall_STRING,MM_Overall_USERNAME,MM_Overall_PASSWORD);
         PreparedStatement StatementRecordset1 = ConnRecordset1.prepareStatement("use " + domain);
         ResultSet Recordset1 = StatementRecordset1.executeQuery();
         filepath.append("/").append(tempFileRef.getName());
         StringBuffer fp = new StringBuffer("insert into ");
         fp.append(domain).append(".filepaths (path) values ('").append(filepath).append("')");
         PreparedStatement ps = ConnRecordset1.prepareStatement(fp.toString());
         ps.executeUpdate();
                System.out.println(fNew.getAbsolutePath());
                fi.write(fNew);
              else {
                System.out.println("Field ="+fi.getFieldName());
            }Basically I store the file uploaded in the tomcat server and the path of the file is saved in a table in MySQL.
    When I upload a file using a PC, the tomcat console displays the content type file name yada yada yada. However, when I upload a file from the Nokia 6680, I get just the content type then things just stop there and nothing else happens. No file name no file size whatsoever. The path of the file is not inserted into MySQL and the file is not stored in the server.
    Can anyone please enlighten me on this issue and hopefully gimme a solution to this problem? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Uploading files from Elements Plus to Kodak

    Hi, I'm hoping that someone has an answer for this problem..I've made a calendar in Elements Plus and whenever I click the order button and the form comes up, it just keeps asking me for recipient's name and addy over and over. I can't get passed that. I would really appreciate any help anyone might have with this issue. Thanks in advance!

    Unfortunatly it is a bit more complicated than this as it involves sending the correct headers, indicating the boundaries of the multipart/form-data content, etc.
    I am not sure on the exact format of how this should be done in order for CGI to understand what I am sending to it.
    I have tried going through http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1867.txt
    but it's still not working :(

  • How/Where do i upload pictures from Elements into Picasa?

    When i first installed the software PS8, i was very pleased to find out that it did this.  I used this functionality to create and upload photos right to my picasa online webalbums.
    Fast forward a few weeks, and for the life of me i cant find anywhere on how to do this.  I only seem able to share to flicker.  Its like the option disappeared from my program.

    I am very limited in my knowledge, so I hope you excuse my question if it seems dumb.
    Where do you find photoshop.com to link to?

  • Is anyone having problems uploading photos from iPhone 5 to Facebook/Instagram?

    since this morning when I try to upload a photo to instagram or Facebook the phone crashes. Can anyone help? Thanks

    This is probably an issue with the person's contact. Try temporarily writing down their contact details, and then delete the person's contact, and try sending it again. Since you can send the message if you copy and paste, it is not likely to be an issue with the actually MMS message, this is probably a problem with your contacts. Make sure that their phone number in their contact has a full area code, like 1(702)###-###
