What problems are you having with the site?

This may not be related to your problem, but you have an old version of Flash, you should consider upgrading to the latest version.

Posting problem using safari or firefox with IMAC

Can anybody help with the following issue. I can access the labs.macromedia website, I can access the Light room posting board. But signing in using safari or firefox on a imac is troublesome and takes several minutes and is half of the time unsuccesful. When trying to post, the signing in screen shows up and asks for e-mail address and password, no problem after pressing the button "continue" the system hangs for so long that safari reports a time out. I have no problems with other websites on the same imac machine I have tried this whole routine on a windows machines from the same location and internet connection set up and no problems at all. A report from another safari user shows also no problem at all. I assume that it is a combination of safari/firefox, this website and my machine settings. Probably I have to change something on the settings for safari or firefox or Imac, but I don't know what. Is there any experience with same problems and a solution out there?

I have problems using gmail with firefox

When I get connected in internet using Firefox, and then I open my e-mail, which is g-mail, I see my entrance mailbox, and I received e-mails, but I cannot write a new e-mail, or print, or send, etc. I cannot do anything with my e-mails.
My g-mail works with Internet Explorer but not with Firefox.

What kind of problems do you have?

Problems using orkut in Firefox 3.6.13 . Chat window get blank most of the time & some issue while loding page (Signout tab get disappear)

I am facing multiple issue while using orkut on mozilla firefox 3.6.13.
I have windows 7 ultimate edition installed on my laptop.
First issue is while i using orkut in firefoz, most of the time chat window will not referesh (as webpage refresh) and all the contact of chat window will get disappear (blank) from there.
second issue is sometimes logout page will get disppear from webpage and that time we are not able to get there while refreshing the page also.
Please suggest...

Well, the computer stopped starting up at all. It could never find the operating system. I tried safe mode and virtually every other non-standard start-up option. I then did target disk mode with another MBP and got the message: "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." I then tried using disk utility and it couldn't retrieve retrieve the data using restore (writing to an external drive). I suspect that this means the hard drive would need to be replaced. In your expert opinions, is this necessarily true? Could this still be just a software problem, or perhaps some other piece of hardware?
Part of the reason I ask is that this laptop is now nearly five years old. It's needed a new battery for two years. If it's a virtual certainty that the hard drive is toast, I don't want to pay $150 for someone to take it out and try to recover any remaining data from it, only to reveal that the data is indeed irretrievable (since the computer itself is probably only worth $300-400 at this point). The nearest Genius Bar is also more than 2 hours away. Am I going about this the right way by using disk utility, given that the hard drive won't mount to the desktop of the other computer? If the hard drive can't be reat in target disk mode, does that confirm that it is the hard drive?

Oh also, it does still make the startup noise, even though I can't run the AHT since I can't get it to start up in safemode. I thought this mean that it passing various hardware tests. Does this not apply to the hard drive?

Problem using Twitter in Firefox

Untill last week I could twitter without problems. Now my twitterpage is not fully loaded. I can see only the top-banner saying: Home, Profile, Messages, Who te follow and my account-name. The rest of the page is blank. I can't click on any of the displayed items. What can I do to make it function again?
All other pages load without problems.

Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
Also, update Java via Windows Control Panel | Java | Update Now.

Problems using yahoo in firefox, constantly crashes and freezes up. says 'server cannot be found'

I'm having the same problem as above with the message displayed 'Cannot Open Page -Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found'. The problem has only started occurring since I updated the operating system on my 3GS to iOS 4.
For information I'm on the Orange network in the UK.
Generally speaking, after a few refreshes the page does display. I have tried viewing the same webpage on my iMac and it displays without any problems whilst the iPhone continues to display the same error message - Strangely it doesn't happen on all websites!!! Ideas anyone?

Does anyone have problems using Dragon NaturallySpeaking with Firefox

I have just started using Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 13 premium and I am encountering a few problems using it with Firefox. Completing text fields to login to various websites seems to be a major problem. With the cursor in the actual text field Dragon seems to not recognise the username or password that I dictate. I have made sure that the Dragon add-on within Firefox is activated and most of the other commands within the browser seem to work perfectly well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is most likely more of a Dragon problem than Firefox. I would suggest also opening a ticket on their end to. Most likely it just is not familiar with new versions of Firefox and has yet to be updated.

When I use Firefox and Hotmail at startup, Firefox freezes for about 1 minute, and then I can continue. First I though it was my computer but 2 other girls in my class have the same problem with Hotmail and Firefox. What can I do to change this?

When I start Firefox, about 15 seconds after I start it, my Firefox freezes for about 1 minute. I found out that it is my Hotmail that makes Firefox freeze.
First I thought it was my computer, but I have 2 other girls in my class that use Hotmail and Firefox and their computer also freezes for 1 full minute.
This is very annoying, what can I do to change this?

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever release for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and earlier versions, but that may not work any better because some large websites are blocking those older browsers or dropping support for older browsers like IE6 & earlier, and Firefox 2 & earlier due to security issues.
Using Safari on those websites ''(not enough total users for websites to be concerned about)'', or installing a new version of MacOSX are two solutions; or getting a new computer.

Do others have a some problems using Firefox together with Charter? Mine is with my search.

I have used and enjoyed Firefox for years. I have Charter cable and my homepage is Charter.net. When I try to use the Google search on that homepage screen, the results are terrible, giving me nothing more than Google search box (its entry) and a blank white screen.
Is there a way I can take care of this problem?

On ebay, firefox will not respond to "shipping and payment" and "read more" links. no problem using IE.

when on Ebay and looking at an auction, the links for 'shipping and payment' and 'read more' (in the item specifics block) do not respond. all other links on auction pages work. and they also work using IE. this is the only website that i have this problem with.
i did a refresh of Firefox, but the problem persists.

FormsCentral problem using Firefox v24 & 25beta

Today I have received extensive feedback from my clients that those using the Mozilla Firefox browser have been unable to Submit the form as the Submit button does nothing. I have tested this for myself and can confirm the problem which then also persisted after uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox v24 and then subsequently upgrading to Firefox v25beta. I have now tested all the forms that I have in use currently using IE, Chrome, Opera, Sea Monkey and Lunascape browsers and they all work perfectly. I have sent out advice to my clients suggesting they use an alternative browser until the Firefox problem has been sorted out.Because it seems to work fine with every other browser I have tested I suspect the problems lies in Firefox but I thought that I would bring it to your attention!

After further investigation we've determined that the reason for the form not being able to submit in Firefox was related to local storage setting in Firefox and this is now working for this user (thanks for your time investigating this with us). We're looking into how to address this rather than relaying the "fix" to the community we'll likely make a change on our side. We do not know how/why some users would end up with settings that result in this behavior.

Unable to use firefox to axcess bank or pay online, bank tells me the problem is only with firefox.

I use a norwegian bank called Sr-bank (www.sparebank1.no).
The error i recived trying to pay told me to contact the bank and give them the error code "BID-2031" if the problem persisted, so i did.
I recived an e-mail from the bank saying that this was a Mozilla firefox problem and suggested that i switched to internet explorer or chrome. They also sent me a link on theyr bank page, which "explained" the problem. Directly translated it said:
"You use the Mozilla Firefox browser
Our experience is that the BID 2031 occurs for those who use Mozilla Firefox browser. We recommend you to try using a different browser such as Google Chrome, until further notice."
I wan't to keep using firefox, and i know that if i start using other browsers to axcess bank, it woun't be long before i don't bother using firefox at all. Please tell me you have a solution to this problem?

Anyway, my other bank (a local bank) dosn't seem to have any problem with firefox, so if the problem persist, I will probably switch permanentlly to the other bank.

I have recently been having problems using Firefox: it continually gives a "Not Responding" message.

Whenever I log on, I get a "Not Responding" message, and Firefox "freezes." I then have to "click" my mouse several times to again be able to use Firefox - but only for a few minutes. Firefox then freezes again and shows another "Not Responding" message.
Because of this repeated "crashing," I have been using I.E. as my browser, because it does NOT have any such problems.
