Problems with watching video content in Safari
After updat to Lion, I have problems watching video conent on webpages with Safari. On some pages it doesn't work at all while at other it stops intermittently. I have tested same pages with Chrome without having problems. Who can help with this annoying problem.
In addition there is an involuntary zoom while reading page in Safari
WhileI am typing in text or Safari ther is also an involuntary switch to in finder there is an involuntary to Launchpad.
Does anybody else encounter similar problems, and if so how did you solve this?Yeah, I'm beginning to think that flash is more hassle than
it's worth. It's just so unbelievable to me that such a widely used
technology on the Web still has no way to be used in a validated
XHTML document! It's really quite absurd actually! I tried
uploading my original flash heading (without the satay method that
is) and it looks fine in Safari. The down side is that all my pages
now contain errors when I try to validate them as XHTML 1.0 Strict.
I guess that unless someone can help with another alternative
to the satay method that actually works across all the main
browsers, I'm just going to have to have pages that won't validate.
How incredibly disappointing... -
I have a iPhone 4S and when watching videos on the internet sound cuts out as the video is playing. The rest of the video plays with no sound. Sometimes when I pause It and play again sound comes back but not all the time. can anyone help?
The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check. -

All of a sudden I have a problem watching video downloaded from the web. The videos seems to download fine, but when they begin to play in Safari, all I get is the audio. No video image plays at all. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Safari crashes whenever I try to watch video content
In the last week, I have noticed that Safari (6.0.1) crashes whenever I try to watch video content on Youtube, or indeed Apple (like for instance the iPhone 5 keynote). Originally I thought this was a Flash bug, but now I'm thinking that it isn't. Most pure Flash content works fine, like videos on lego.com (which my kids acces constantly). But youtube = instant crash.
Any idea on what I should do? Upgrade to Mountain Lion, perhaps? (But I guess ML uses the same Safari that I do.) Or just give up and use Chrome? Here's a crash report from when I try to open the iPhone 5 keynote page. It says that Thread 8 Crashed:: com.apple.coremedia.networkbuffering whatever that might mean.

Can't watch Video's on internet
I need some help. I can't seem to watch video's from Youtube or places like that. I have extra memory installed so that's not the problem. I see on Youtube my E62 isn't a supported type of phone yet. Is there someone place else we can go to watch video's on the internet?
Not sure whether it works with the E62, as I don't have one, but there's a mobile version of YouTube too. Try it here:
http://m.youtube.com
It still allows you to search for videos like the main site, and it plays the content great on the E71 ... just make sure you're either on WiFi (if the E62 has it), or on a fixed rate data plan and it can use quite a lot of bandwidth ;-)
My previous phones:
6310i --> SE K750i --> E50 --> E61i --> E71
... much prefer the Nokia phones, especially the E71 -
Help - SYNC problem watching video on Fancast
On both of my computers , When I watch a video on Fancast and other sites that use Flash Player the video and voice is not in sync. The longer you watch the farther the voice and video gets out of sync. The voice is ahead of the video. The video is also a little choppy. I use Firefox and Explorer browsers and both have the same problem. I have updated both as well as Flash Player on both computers. When I watch videos that use other players I do not have this problem. So if anyone can help please do ,it is not good to watch shows so out of sync.
ThanksBest post this in the iTunes section.

Growing problem watching videos in Elements 7
I initially installed PSE5 and Premiere 3 as part of a package a couple years ago. At the time I was easily able to watch videos in Elements 5, including relatively unusual formats such as .m2t, as well of course as .avis.
I upgraded to PSE7 a few months back (no upgrade for Premiere however). Around about that time I found I could no longer watch or import .m2ts or .mp4s. I cant say for sure if it was at the time of the upgrade the problem occurred, as I hadn’t tried using either PSE5 or PSE7 for that purpose for a while.
Within the last week or so, I have found that I can no longer even view .avis. I definitely have been able to do so in PSE7 in the past. Now whenever I try, the whole of Elements will crash (one of the few times I have seen PSE7 do that). .
Other possibly relevant changes to my computer that have occurred over that time are the installation of Sony Vegas Movie Studio and some Pixela viewing software for that came with a Canon AVCHD Camcorder.
I appreciate that this could be a highly technical, highly tedious question dealing with codecs and the like. Any direct help would of course be fantastic, but barring that even some help on the basics as I try to sort it out would be great.
1. Is the viewer in PSE7 dependant in any way on having Premiere installed?
2. What other programs could possibly be interfering with PSE7s ability to show video? Is there a way to troubleshoot something like that without ‘Uninstall other software first….’
3. Is there a codec pack I can download or buy that would solve these issues? I don’t mind spending a bit more money, just want to get it to work.
4. Can anyone suggest a Photoshop Elements website or book that deals with video issues such as this, or have people who deal a lot in watching videos within PSE7 itself. Every time I try to search for PSE7 and ‘video’ or ‘movie’ I am inundated with links to generic training videos etc. And the 446 page Adobe PSE help PDF was no help, neither was Kelby’s PSE7 book. 99.999% of the info out there that I have been able to find deals with pictures not video. I understand most people use PSE7 for photos, but I like to use it to organize my videos as well.
Any help, any at all, that can be given, even if its just pointing me in the right direction, would be great.Maybe there are compatibilty issue between the PSE7 and PRE3.Try upgrading PRE also.

N85 - interesting problem watching videos
Hi Guys,
Daft question - but when I'm watching videos (either mp4's or self-shot) the screen goes dark like when you have the keypad locked (bit like power saving mode) - except it happens when the keypad is unlocked or locked, watching landscape or portrait at anytime.
It's been doing it ever since I've had it (over a year) & it's annoying but wondered if there was a bug or a workaround as I'm trying to watch The Pacific and it's quite dark already.......
SW running: 31.002
ThanksFirst thing to try is disable Hardware Acceleration (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337).
If that does not fix the issue, please post some details (operating system, browser, Flash Player version, ...). -
Problems watching videos stored on TC
I recently moved my video library from a firewire external hard drive to my new TC (dual band). My movies are stored as .avi files (ca. 700mb) and I watch them using VLC. Now, when watching files stored on the TC the video pauses, and has other inconsistent viewing errors that happen approximately every 1-2 minutes and last for less than a second. It is very annoying-and not a product of the file. When i move the file to my desktop it plays just fine.
Is this a problem anyone else has seen or knows how to fix? It seems like maybe the TC is not broadcasting a consistent signal over wireless or that the internal HD of the TC has errors.
ThanksWelcome to the discussion area, LC 630!
The Time Capsule's drive was designed primarily as a destination for Time Capsule backups, not for primary storage for files that will be accessed on a regular basis. In other words, the Time Capsule does not function very well when called upon to work as a media server.
If at all possible, I would suggest connecting the Time Capsule to your computer using an ethernet connection to see if performance might improve with that type of setup.
Please let us know how the ethernet connection works if you elect to try this. -
Problem Watching Videos Online
About two or three days ago, I started having trouble viewing videos online from Youtube and others. It seems not to matter which website I try, but the video will start and stop every 10 seconds or so, buffer some more, and then start playing again, stop again etc. I tried using different browsers and it had no effect. The browsers are not causing the problem. It's obviously not the individual websites either. So I suspect it's something in OS X, but I don't know what. The first browser I had the problem in was Chrome, and I tried clearing the cache----no effect.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.Well I think I found the problem. iIhave a wireless router, and I had lost the connection. I just noticed my Menu bar wireless icon was almost greyed out completely. Two or three days ago I had restarted the computer, and I believe that had something to do with it. The videos seem to play just fine now. I was still getting internet though, because it seems I was picking up the signal from one of my neighbor's routers in the same building I live in that's not password protected. Just a much weaker signal, and that is what was causing the erratic video viewing.
Thanks for your time anyway if you read this. -
I Got a new IPad Air and have problems running videos from the internet
i'm having problem to run videos from internet news's site
If you are running from Safari, it may be the site requires Flash player which most mobile devices don't have.
Try downloading a mobile news app for your local network TV station. -
Problem viewing video-content folders in Adobe Bridge
Hi there.
I have problem browsing folders inside Adobe Bridge CS6. When I get into a folder that contains files that are not just images, Adobe Bridge would not responding and would have to be closed. With the folders contains only images I have no freezing issue and Adobe Bridge run very fast and normal. I usually store images and videos inside the same folder on my image-video albums. I am running windows 8.1 on my laptop computer. I have selected several files with diverse formats inside a test folder each time to check if the program is able to represent the folder or not. I choose a mp4 file inside an image album and it did not response. I replaced mp4 with a ts video file, a wma (audio) file and a docx file (Microsoft word) to see if Bridge can show the folder or not. Only in case of Microsoft word file the program worked but with the mouse indicator twinkling. Is there any solution to the problem? Should I use a newer version of PS to overcome this drawback?
Thanks for your attention.Even the latest versions of Photoshop do not support all types of video files, only some.
