Problems when I try to,to change applet

}This applet works fine,but when I try to change it,the old applet is alone reffered to by my html page.Even if I delete this class file,still the applet continues to be used

Do you mean the old Appletfortree5 applet is still displayed in the web page even after you've replaced the implementation of the applet with a completely new one? If so, it's probably cached by the browser. Bring up the Java Console the next time you open the web page containing the applet, and press 'x' on the console to clear up the classloader cache. Then refresh the web page.
There's also a setting in the Java Plug-in Control Panel to disable caching. Hth.
