Problems when trying to move a paragraph with a heading to the next page

When i try to move a paragraph with a heading (generally style 2) to the next page by pressing the enter key, rather than the whole paragraph moving to the top of the next page it moves to pretty well every where but the top. i have attached a video because im sure what i have said doesn't make much sense.

i have talked to an apple technician through apple care and we came to the conclusion after reseting iwork to default settings still with no changes all i could do was completely remove iwork from my computer and try to start over. Or come to the forums to see if there is a work around.

Without commentary, or other explanation, it's difficult to determine what actions you are taking to produce the results in the video.
In the first instance, it appears that you have placed the insertion point at the beginning of the line following the header, then pressed and held return. this action pushes that line (and anything below it) down until it crosses the page boundary and jumps to a second page. That's expected behaviour.
At approximately 0:57, you have deleted the return characters, returning the first and second lines after the header to a position immediately following the header. The insertion point is then moved to the point at the beginning of the header line, and returns are inserted as before. About 1:04, a number of unreadable alert boxes appear. At 1:07, the second line below the heading moves to the second page, followed by the first line, then by the heading itself at about 1:10. Again this is expected behaviour.
Only after that are there any 'odd' behaviours, and without knowing what actions you are taking to produce those oddities, it's (at least) difficult to say what is causing the results you see.

Pull the power cable from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cable back into the back of the Tme Capsule
Wait a few minutes, then try a backup again.

Need help with repeating Subforms on the next page

I have created two different flowable repeating subforms, for example - subform1 and subform2 in a document with an action button for each to add another subform on the next page. After subform2, I have two buttons - one to add subform1 again or add subform2 on the next page. When I click the button, Livecycle adds the new subform as commanded but the subform is added directly after the previous same subform not on the next page as requested. I have tried to change the pagination settings but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me define how to get the repeating subform to add to the next page and not after the same subform?

OK, so here's what I would do.
1. Wrap your subform1 and subform2 in a subform. I'll call it sfMaster.
2. Change your minimum instance for subform1 and 2 to 0 or uncheck the box, and set the initial count to 1. (That way you get at least one of each when we start.)
3. have the buttons create a new instance of sfMaster, then remove the instance of the subform you didn't want within that most recent instance.
So, what the user sees is a new subform1 or 2 each time they hit a button. And they'll appear in whatever order they choose it. The user doesn't have to know that what is actually happening is the creation of a new "master" subform that holds both subform1 and 2.
To help illustrate what I mean, I've added a pink border around sfMaster and colored subform1 and 2.

If you want to guarantee it appears on the next page, you'll need to add the conditional break from earlier. Keep working with it to get the settings just right. You may even want a docReady() event that creates two sfMaster's and sets one to have Subform1 and the other to have Subform2.

Problem when trying to move icons on desktop

Hello experts,
I have a macbook Air with OS X 10.9.2.
I have a problem when I try to move any icon on the desktop.
To move an icon I need to select it, and drag it to the new positon, it then returns to the same position, after iff I unselect it and select it again, it apears on the position I drag it before.
could any one give me some help about this?

Take these steps if the cursor changes from an arrow to a white "prohibited" symbol when you try to move an icon on the Desktop.
Sometimes the problem may be solved just by logging out or rebooting. Try that first, if you haven't already done it. Otherwise, continue.
Select the icon of your home folder (a house) in the sidebar of a Finder window and open it. The Desktop folder is one of the subfolders. Select it and open the Info window. In the General section of the window, the Kind will be either Folder or something else, such as Anything.
If the Kind is Folder, uncheck the box marked Locked. Close the Info window and test.
If the Kind is not Folder, make sure the Locked box is not checked and that you have Read & Write privileges in the Sharing & Permissions section. Then close the Info window and do as follows.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
xattr -d com.apple.FinderInfo Desktop
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You should get a new line ending in a dollar sign ($). Quit Terminal.
Relaunch the Finder.
If the problem is now resolved, and if you use iPhoto, continue.
Quit iPhoto if it's running. Launch it while holding down the option key. It will prompt you to select a library. Choose the one you want to use (not the Desktop folder.)

Problems when trying to move 3 stepper motors

Hello,
I am having problems when I try to build a program to control 3 stepper motors.
I have 3 steeper motors and the controller (3 SMCP33 + SMCP33-EVA) from nanotec.com they provide also a Vi example to control one motor that works successfully but the problems come up when I try to adapt the program to try to run the 3 motors. The final application for that is going to be a Cartesian robot XYZ so eventually I will need to program coordinates to move the 3 motors.
I am new in LabVIEW so what I am doing is trying to adapt the nanotec example to control the 3 motors doing the following.
- I assign each motor a different address, doing that I can run each motor separately. But when I try to run 3 programs at the same time, they work but all of them move the same motor (the first that was run).
- If I try to do a kind of subVi the same thing happens, only one motor is driven.
- Furthermore, I get back a warning when I try this, I enclose a screenshot of that.
I enclose the Vi and screeshots to enhance my description.
I woul be grateful if someona can aport some help.

Thank you for replying. Enclosed is a picture where can be seen the motor address. This case is for motor 1, for motor 2 would be number 2 and 3 for motor 3. It works if I run the programs one by one. Anyway I enclose the generic example without any manipulation by myself.

Problem when trying to move files with NSFileManager

Hi there folks.
I am trying to use some very simple code here to move a folder into another folder on my (or a user's) computer. I have used this code before, but can't for the life of me pinpoint the issue here.
This is the code that I am using:
NSString *fromParent = [@"~/Desktop/Images" stringByExpandingTildeInPath];
NSString *toParent = [openPanel filename]; //this is the result of the user's selection in an NSOpenPanel
[[NSFileManager defaultManager] moveItemAtPath:fromParent toPath:toParent error:&error];
When I look at the Console, the error returned from the attempted move is this;
"Error = Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=512 UserInfo=0x15e65500 "“Images” could not be moved to “rickyd”"
I'll also add that there is not an issue with the folders/files I am using, as I have also tried numerous other folders/files.
Although I understand this information is pretty brief, I'd really appreciate and help you guys could lend me here.

Yes, you're correct. The toPath needs to not yet exist.
I forgot I had to specify the complete file path of the directory after the move would have occurred.
E.g - instead of having ~/Documents, I need to have ~/Documents/Images.

Problem when trying to refresh oracle screens with latest data

i have one problem,i want to refresh the oracle screen with the latest data from the data
base.
It is a two stage process.At first step one user will select a row from the screen and then he will press a button .
now the second screen will appear and the detail of the employee will be displayed.
First step has been completed and the data is coming in the second form via parameters and i can see the full information of the employee.
Now i want to refresh the oracle form i.e. suppose if my dba has made any changes in the oracle table( EMP table) i want that after pressing the refresh button user can see the
latest data from the database.
in WHEN_BUTTON_PRESSED trigger i have written this codes.
enter_query;
execute_query;
but they are not giving the expected result.
And one more thing please suggest whether in the second form i should use database item
or non database item.
When i am using database item when i am trying to close second from one pop up is appearing
and asking that whether i want to save the changes.
please suggest how can i remove this message from my application.

how did you populate the datablock in the second form ?

Problem when trying to create a template with vdi 3.2.1

I´m using vdi 3.2.1 in solaris 10 x86. I´m using Virtualbox in the same server as a desktop provider. I created a windows 7 virtual machine without any problem.
My problem appears when I´m trying to import that VM into a template, I follow "Pools --> then select the pool --> And from the tabs Bar, select TEMPLATE --> Import Template..." Then from the new window, select Hypervisor and select the VM that I want to import it as a template.
The importing process began and After the 100%, the vdi says "Job Failed" "Could not convert desktop [ide=18] to template".
The /var/adm/messages has this error:

This is probably an installation issue, where is Data Services installed? If its Program Files (x86), try re-installing in C:\SAP or similar.

hi,
you can't create a proxy for the google API because Google's webservices are RPC style and the proxy wizard of WAS ABAP on NW2004s supports document style webservices only.
Search Google for the keywords mentioned and you'll find a lot of discussions and explanations of the difference of these two styles.

I have a problem when trying to print contents fro either Email's or from web pages, the problem started after i opened Google earth and it down loaded Google Chrome i do not like Google chrome so i removed it from my pc via add and remove programmes since then when i try to print an email i get what looks like the computer settings for writing the email and not the text same for web pages, as anyone come across this problem before i can print any word or spreadsheet documents but problem is with email's and web pages.

Something changed on your system, possibly when Google Chrome installed. It could be many things, but what it boils down to, is it needs to go back to the way it was. Either by removing whatever else might still be left from the install, or maybe by reinstalling the printer itself.

Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear on what I am trying to do. I am looking for a way to do this process a lot quicker. Sometimes these agendas could be 100 pages. Since I can only select text from one page at a time from the PDF after I scan it, this takes up so much time. What I am looking for is a way to open up the PDF file after scanning and be able to select text from all the pages and cut and paste into word. For example:
I scan 20 pages and save to PDF
I can view all 20 pages - pages 1 to 20
I want to highlight text starting at the beginning of Page 1 and ending on the last word on page 20?
Cut and paste everything into word
Is there a way to do this or should I be using another Adobe product to accomplish?

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START/CONTROL PANEL/Programs n Features/highlight ASU and click REPAIR,
