Problems while importing SAP Content

Hi,
we actually import some content provided by SAP for German VAT (Elster). Now the import works fine, but when I click on some elements f.e. message mapping XI result with error:
Target message Message Type: VATDeclarationConfirmation does not exist in software component version 6d53e350-a97d-11d8-a2dd-d61d0a114c15 Check whether the software component version 6d53e350-a97d-11d8-a2dd-d61d0a114c15 is in the Integration Repository. If necessary, install the software component version 6d53e350-a97d-11d8-a2dd-d61d0a114c15 or a newer version
But its nothing we imported by our own - its all from SAP anyone a idea how to fix it?

Hi Matt,
actually you will need to import SWCV SAP APPL 470 with at least patch level 22 as well. This SWCV contains the RFC structures which are used in the mappings and might not be referenced in your case....

Hi,
I would check the following:
1. That you have the correct CIM model and CR content versions for this content. Try updating your SLD to the latest versions.
2. Does this component have dependencies with other components? If so you should import them first. You can check if it has in the SLD.

Problem while importing a Crystal Report in SAP Business One

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem while importing a Crystal Report in SAP Business One, it displaying an error "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]" , and there is no use of this table OUQR in the Query.
Kindly let me know the solution.

Hi Rhaul,
i don't exactly know why this is a problem, but if your not on latest (881 p10) then upgrade and try again.
Or as a workaround,
try saveing from CR to SAP with the CR add-on. That usualy works better then the import.

After I got this error I upgraded the Kernel from patch level 159 to 179,
After that I restarted the update again but the system is still running on u201CIMPORT_PROPERu201D and dose not given any update,

We are applying in support packages in SAP R/3 4.6C HR Development
(TFI) environment. We planned with installing all the SP stacks
starting from 1 to 9.
-Updated kernel, tp , r3trans and SPAM level to latest level.
We received the following error in Import_Proper step of Support
package upgrade. Though the step has been repeated after making sure
that we have all the required files at OS level, we go this error
repeatedly.

While playing around I have deleted the transport from the tp buffer
and added manually, before doing so I made a backup of tp buffer at OS
level and I got following error though I reverted back to backed-up
copy.
- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
- Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
- Return code: 0008
- Error message: Wrong sequence of Packages in the tp buffer (e.g.
SAPKB46C52 )
I then tried to disassemble the package separately and reran the
import queue. Now I have RC 8 on that support package.
When I did R3trans -l on the datafile it completed successfully.
D:\>R3trans -l \usr\sap\trans\data\RB46C52.SAP
This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46D - 27.10.08 - 16:32:00).
R3trans finished (0000).
I verified the size of file "CSR0120031469_0023301.PAT" and it is the
same as mentioned in SSP.
Let us know is there is a workaround.

MII 14.0 SP4 :Migration error while importing SAP BM Templates

I am facing some migration errors while importing SAP Batch Manufacturing Templates into MII 14.0 SP4.
There are almost 23 transactions which are not getting imported and the error message for all of them is-
"Unable to migrate transaction Unable to import file

Got the solution. The STARTUP.BAT file is been placed in the installation directory(usr/sap) and then it works fine. Also I have installed the patches and all working fine.

Problem in importing SAP Exchange profile (BASIS settings) - Urgent

Hi,
I am currently facing problem in importing SAP Exchange profiles manually.
When i enter into http://<J2EE_host>:<J2EE_port>/exchangeProfile with username as PISUPER, the page is getting loaded but
1.it shows a error message stating, Name or password is incorrect
2. When i ignore that error and proceed with the connections tab to edit the server settings, i cannot set the password for PILDUSER. It again says, Name or Password is incorrect..
What could be the reason for these errors. Please help me... This is very urgent....

Problems were encountered during import:
Failed to read the project description file (.project) for LocalDevelopmentpapermtcs.com. The file has been changed on disk, and it now contains invalid information. The project will not function properly until the description file is restored to a valid state.

From development i released activities and able to see them in NWDI(CMS). I was able to successfully import in consolidation and even approved it without any errors. But when I tried to import in production tab , I am facing above problem.
Can any one explain me do I need to deploy directly into production (through NWDS) in WebDynpro perspective before importing into production from NWDI?
As far as my understanding if I import successfully into production I may need not to deploy it again.

Error while importing XI Content for Software compnent version

Hello All
We have Installed XI system and working on Post Installation Activities.
As per the Installation Guide We are trying to import XI Content for Software Component version in to the Integration Builder,
In the integration builder , when we select
tools-->import design objects , we are able select ".tpz" file and when we hit "Import" button we are getting the following message.
" Attempt to save object "Adapter Metadata XiConnectivity | http://sap.com/xi/XI" failed You can proceed with the transport though objects with errors will be ignored. This may cause inconsistencies in other objects after import. Do you want to proceed?"
Can you help us how to resolve this problem?

Modification problems while applying SAP Note manually

Hi Guys,
I am facing some problems while applying a SAP note manually (it cannot be applied without manual changes).
There is one standard program which I am trying to change for this purpose, but it does not allow me to do so saying "Carry out modification comparison for REPS RPCT8AR1_01 first. No changes possible" !!
Now I can go to SPAU and reset the object, but it will lose all its changes which was done
by 2 SAP notes previously.
How can I apply my SAP Note without reverting the changes ? If I revert the changes, I lose
the changes for other 2 notes !!
Is there a solution for this? please help asap.

If you did not modified the program manually, you dont have to worry. implement your note from SNOTE transaction.
even if you loose previous modifications, you can always get them back by going SPAU transaction and import the transport numbers.
I had the same problem but we had manual changes to the program that is why didnt allow to implement note
