Problems with accessing Light room through Creative Cloud

I've just bought Creative Cloud after my trial version of Light room expired. I can't however access any of the apps including light room. When I do try to access Light room, a message comes up asking me to purchase a licence. I wasn't issued with a licence so don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated as I need it for this new contract.

EsJayFolks if you are unable to close the Photoshop.exe process then please reboot your computer.  Please then apply the update prior to reopening Photoshop.

    I'm trying to download Illustrator CC but a window keeps popping up saying for me to close out the conflicting process/application for Photoshop ("Photoshop.exe"). So I closed out the Photoshop program, right clicked on my toolbar at the bottom of my screen to "Start Task Manager" then went to "Processes" tab, checked off the "Show processes from all users" box and scrolled down to find this "Photoshop.exe" file to end the process but I was unable to find it. Can anyone please help me with this? I need Illustrator as well as InDesign to download it so I can work on my various projects for clients. I'm working off of a Gateway Windows 7 laptop to do all of this.

  • Problem with accessing Transaction iViews through ITS

      I am trying to access Transaction iViews through ITS, we are getting sap easy access menu instead of transaction which we had given during the configuration. Recently we have upgraded ITS 6.20 to Patch level 19. Before applying patch everything was working fine.
    Anyone please help me in solving this problem as it is very urgent.

    I had this same error and managed to get around it by running the .msi file that the CC app downloaded to a temp folder on my own. Steps were:
    1. Find the location Adobe_Lightroom_X64.msi (in a a temp folder)
    2. Run it and install (serial number was already pre-filled out)
    3. Restart the CC desktop app
    It then appeared as installed under ‘Your Apps’ and works as usual.

    You do not need ?&promoid=KRUVP at the end of the url but it should not matter.
    One thing to check is if your hosts file is modified. Open the Command Prompt and type: notepad %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    This will open a read-only copy of your host file in Notepad. Are there any entries in this file regarding adobe.com?
    The other thing you can do is open the Developer Tools in the Chrome browser. On Windows press Ctrl + Shift to open them. Switch to the Network tab. Reload the page by pressing Ctrl + r. Check for any 4xx or 5xx errors which should be colored red.

    If you have a DVD version then you have to use the serial number that is associated with the DVD version.  A Cloud subscription number has no relationship to a DVD serial number.

    Downloads have built-in "checksums" (I think that's the correct term that basically check to make sure the bits of data are being downloaded correctly.
    Sometimes the previous check has to redownload the previous bits. That can cause the time to go up.
    Also, it may be that your bandwidth speed is slowing down or lots of others are accessing the bandwidth.
    BUT if the download goes way, way up—like instead of 12 minutes, it goes to 6 hours, something's wrong with the installation.

    I have a previous version of Photoshop C6  and bought a creative Cloud account to access current C6 content/updates. I do not see any other C6 installed on my Mac Mavericks 10.9.4 through Creative Cloud other then the previous installed C6! Am I simply duplicating the software? The reason I have purchased Creative Cloud subscription is to access new content also I have few issues with HDR toning and ruler for example which I can not rectify on my original version. What am I doing wrong with the Creative Cloud or worth just cancelling subscription? Your assistance will be appreciated?

    Have you checked for program updates from within CS6, or checked the manual update page?

  • Can I get Premiere Pro CC 8.2 through Creative Cloud?

    Through my work I have access to creative cloud, which allows me to download Premiere Pro CC 8.0.  But I have a project I started editing on a different computer in Premiere Pro CC 8.2.  Is there any way for me to get an 8.2 update through creative cloud, or am I now forced to only edit that project on that one computer?

    This is perhaps a question better asked on the specific forum for Creative Cloud installation & general questions forum ... but I'll give you a response. Your work license will have specific numbers of computers the programs may be used on. Many such licenses handle all updating through the central control of the license holder's administrative team. If that's the case for you, then you'd need to talk with your in-house administrator of the license for upgrading. They'd be able tell you whether or not you could have your work computer upgraded.
    You would I'm assuming note to this person you're being asked to work on a project created on a newer version than the one on your machine, so due to things beyond your control, you can't do the job asked of you. In whatever nicest and most professional way you can. Note ... if you've other projects ongoing within 8.0, the update to 8.2 might cause you some ... difficulties? Not always wise to upgrade mid-project.

    No, I do not mean just the music.  Copying just the media/music files or the media folder creates problems.

  • Acrobat keeps crashing after installing through creative cloud and Im at a loss!

    I had Acrobat installed before I purchased creative cloud and it worked fine.  Ever since I installed it through creative cloud I can't get it to work. It launches, and lets me scan though a few pages with the page down and then just quits unexpectedly.
    I've updated all the software as it has come through application manager. I need to be able to get into the software and edit some PDFs for a client but Im at a loss as to what it could be.
    Hardware: Macbook Air 11" 1.6 Ghz 4GB ram
    Mac OSX 10.7.4

    We have purged the system of all adobe files using adobe cleaner and have re-installed after fixing permissions and other minor disk issues, and then running a full course of maintenance and cleaning tasks with Oynx but still no luck.
    We too have no real use for Reader, but in the moment all we needed to do was open a pdf but Reader had the same sympoms as Acrobat, thank god for Preview!

  • Problem with Access Policies (create multiple resources)

    I'm having a problem with Access Policies:
    The first policy must create a resource.
    And the following policies should create childs on the resource.
    The problem here is that when policies will add the childs, the resource is not provisioned yet.
    And then each one will create a resource but i just want one resource with the childs.
    When the resource is already provisioned, the policies update this resource properly.
    How can I fix this?

    I had a similar problem. In a post-process handler I was managing the user membership in specific roles through the removeMemberUser and the addMemberUser of the tcGroupOperationsIntf class.
    The last parameter of this method was a boolean which, when true, would automatically trigger the access policies programmatically in the post-process.
    The problem is that there also is an OOTB event handler for triggering access policies, so I was basically triggering the access policies twice and duplicated resources were appearing.
