Problems with Apps on my Ipod Touch

When My Ipod touch battery dies I have to redownload my apps. When the battery completly dies the apps no longer open adn I must reset all the settings and redownload. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix this?

You can try restoring the iPod, first from backup and then if problem persists, to factory defaults/new iPod.

Two awkward problems with my 2ND Gen iPod Touch 8GB

1) I can not update my apps. It tells me I do not have write access to the itunes media folder, I do, and I constantly add music to it from sources other than itunes. I checked finder and all the folder is read and write/ as well as the several subfolders within.
2) The next problem is quite a pickle. After restoring from a time machine backup, my iPod touch, no longer is recognized on my mac. Recovery fails with itunes. Get this: it works on every other computer i tried, and im using the same cable. Keep in mind my USB ports are all 100% good, i am constanly using external HDD'S with them. So my question is here, how can I get the iPod to mount without bending over backwards, reinstalling the OS and all. Also since it is still under warrenty, and I have tried getting it restored at apple store (it worked, but to no avail on my acutal iMac at home) will apple replace my ipod with a totally different one?

1) You looked in the write place and your access seems correct. However, try repairing permissions as this will usually fix these things.
2) This one isn't as bad as you think it is. Apple Mobile Device Services is not loading properly. If you want to try a quick fix, restart your computer and try again. If that doesn't fix it, go through the troubleshooting steps in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1747 Probably the path that will work best for you is to follow the steps for uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes.

PROBLEM with iMessage (Messages) on iPod touch HELPPP

We had a problem with iMessage. We're both using iPod touch with iOS5 version.
but we can't send messages. It says our emails/apple ids are not registered on iMessage.
I checked it on already on the Settings>iMessage> ON .

Problems with iPhone 3G and iPod Touch with Car Stereos

There are three cars in our family, and every car as a stereo with built-in iPod interfaces. Car 1 has a Pioneer system, Car 2 has a Kenwood, and my car has an Alpine system. I can't hear any audio when I connect an iPod touch or iPhone 3G to the Kenwood and Pioneer systems. They can perform functions on the iPhone/iPod touch, such as change songs, randomize songs, repeat songs, etc, however, there is no audio. 80% of the time the Alpine does the same thing; 10% of the time an error is displayed on the head unit; and 10% the iPod Touch/iPhone works perfectly.
All three systems can operate my iPod Nano correctly without any problems at all. Because the same problem occurs to all the stereos and because the iPod Touch and iPhone are basically the same minus phone capabilities, I am beginning to believe that the problem is with them and not the stereo systems. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how can I fix it if it is fixable?

Which Touch (first or second generation) and which iPhone (2G or 3G)?
And what generation Nano are you testing with.
Your auto systems may not be compatible with the newer generation model iPods/Phones.

Slew of Problems with iTunes--Bonjour Service, Ipod Touch Recognition, iTunes Store Connectivity

As per the title, the problems are getting quite serious and annoying.
I have an issue with the Bonjour service not being recognized (mDNSresponder.exe doesn't appear to be running) and consequently sharing not working, an inability to connect to the iTunes store (as shown in the above diagnostic report), and an inability for iTunes or my laptop to recognize the iPod Touch. On any other PC here, it's perfectly fine.

As you can see, there are many problems here. Quicktime is apprently unavailable, when it's installed. iTunes doesn't recognize me as an administrator, when the account is indeed an admin (and can perform administrative actions).
Connection to the iTunes store is unsuccessful, when iTunes is enabled in the windows firewall. All the services iTunes needs to run, are running successfully. The sole exception being Bonjour, which iTunes doesn't seem to realize is running. I've verified the service to be running, and have restarted it. Additionally, mDNSresponder.exe is not running under task manager. Manually starting it from Bonjour's file directory doesn't work, either. I've changed my "hosts" file, and still no luck. I've also changed a couple of Internet Explorer internet properties, and the unsuccessful connectivity doesn't change. I've reinstalled the whole line of Apple software, without a change in results. Reboots are just as unsuccessful.
Ultimately, my problem is neither iTunes nor Windows recognizes my iPod Touch, whereas my old Nano used to work fine. On other computers, iTunes is fine. The problem is on this one, and whether it's an Apple or Windows problem, I don't know. Hopefully someone here can help me out, as I would be immensely appreciative.

I'd like to doublecheck something you mentioned earlier:
I've verified the service to be running, and have restarted it. Additionally, mDNSresponder.exe is not running under task manager.
When you were in the processes tab, did you have "Show processes from all users" checked, as per the following screenshot? (mDNSresponder.exe runs under SYSTEM, so you don't see it in there unless that box is checked.)

Audio sync problem with videos imported from iPod Touch

I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation that I used to shoot video at a family birthday party. When I imported the footage into iMovie '11, the audio is not in sync with the video (video is about two seconds behind audio) and there is only the left channel of audio. I verified that the video on the iPod plays just fine--no audio sync problem, both left and right channels work. I just upgraded to iOS 5 on the iPod Touch. The iMac is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
As a workaround, I can import the video into iPhoto instead. When I play the video in iPhoto, there are no audio sync problems and both channels of audio can be heard. I have imported other iPod Touch videos successfully into iMovie '11 in the past few months, but this has been the first time these problems have occurred. Any help would be appreciated.

Premiere cannot handle clips with variable framerate.
Your converted clips need to have constant framerate.
Otherwise use a converter like Handbrake.

Некоторое время назад я скачал через сам Ipod некоторые подкасты, в другое время с компа, после все синхронизировал и все уровнялось (переписалось недостающее туда и обратно). Сегодня я хотел все удалить и в настройках синхронизации моего iPod я просто снял галочку синхронизации и применил. После все плейлисты касательно подкастов были очищены, а вот сами файлы остались, т.к. в первую очередь суммируя то что у меня должно было быть и что было разница была в 3 гига.
С помощью SharePod решил проверить действительно ли так то что я думаю и оказалось что он увидел эти файлы, которые должны были быть удалены, но т.к. версия базы данных иная чем то что он может понимать программа, удалить я их не могу. Прошу помочь.

Using SharePod checked their version and proved that SharePod saw no deleted files to be erased, but because version of the database other than the fact that he could understand the program, I can not remove them. Please help.

You can only sync with one computer. I would backup to one computer and then restore from backup.

Problem with my 32GB new iPod Touch storage

HHi, I have recently bought a new 32GB iPod Touch. I have configured it and synced it the first time to iTunes and everything worked well. During my second synch and while iTunes was copying new songs to my iPod something went wrong and the sync was interrupted. Since then, each time I plug my iPod to sync it with iTunes, the space manager shows me that I have 19.9 GB of data categorized as Others which is the untrue and I'm unable to put new data. I was unable to solve this problem and need your ****.

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Problem with 2.0 in Ipod touch..... eq setting messed up!!!!!!!!!

I´ve been using Ipod touch since its launch, and been updating it regulary... even with the extra paid update from January... I´ve been using the R&B and Electronic EQ settings with my different headphones and they have been working the best.. well now I updated to the 2.0 and love the extra functions but these Eq settings have been messed up... and now these settings sound just like the q n off or flat!!!!! I´m very upset cause I built all my system around this sound and now I lost it!!!!!! I contact apple support and they couldn´t help me.. they asked me to make a restore and even get a new download 2.0 from their server... but noting worked!!!!!! have anyone notice this???? what can I do???? I really want those eq settings back!!!!!

I´ve tried downgrading to 1.1.4 and then I get the proper EQ settings and sound, but I lose all the new 2.0 functions and the January paid update functions ("unknown error occurred (-4)", and I doing it on the same pc where I did all the upgrades on Itunes 7.7)... so for me it´s like going back to when I bought it!!! and I find that unacceptable....

!NEED HELP ASAP! Problem with syncing 4th generation ipod touch

I just bought a new ipod from a friend and itunes won't sync my music and apps onto it because it says it "waiting for changes to apply", what does this mean and how do I fix it? Please help ASAP so I can listen to my music before my 6 hr trip in a couple days.

I figured it out myself the easiest and best thing to do (or it was for me at least) if you already have your own music just go to settings on the ipod and then go to General, then reset, then tap Erase all Content and Settings and accept it. Now my ipod has all my music and apps on it and music cloud which it didnt have before lol. But thank you for the help its greatly appreciated .

You need a payment method on your Apple ID to use the store. Even if you're not planning to download any paid apps, you still need a method linked to your account.
I''m not sure when it changed, but I believe you used to be able to download free apps without a payment method. Maybe your friends Apple IDs are from those days.

First try a restore from backup
If problem still occurs try a restore to factory defaults/new Pod.
If still occurs likely a hardware problem and an appoitment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
