I have serious problems with my tv tuner since i installed my new soundblaster card!! I reinstalled both softwared and drivers...but there always comes an error message when i want to start my ATI-Tv Programm!!!(Immediately the "windows error message report send" appears!!! what should i do i payed for tv-...but i also payed for my new sound blaster card!!!! help me plz!!! what coukd be the problem?

I had the same problem with Xtrememusic + ATI 800XT.
When you uninstall and reinstall the ATI software make sure you unplug your remote wonder first and install it last.
Leave ATI a message....they were surprisingly great fixing at the problem. They recommended a different version of MMC and it's now working better then before I installed the soundcard.

Hi. Anyone having problems with the mentioned combination. (I've heard about incompatibility issue with creative and nforce4 chipsets) and since I have the mentioned board I would like to avoid future problems and maybe go with Audigy 4 instead. Thanks in advance.

Here's MSIs technical support answer:
Sometimes before, there was incompatibility issues between the X-FI Xtreme card and motherboards based on nforce 4 chipset. And then, Creative official has stated it existed on almost noforce4 motherboard, not only some or one manufacturer, so user met this issue should contact Creative.
But from Creative's official statement as you find, they thought it caused by nforce4 chip, but our motherboard chipset is from NVIDIA. If NVIDIA had no plan to change the chipset architecture, we can't solve this issue. So we suggest you'd better not use this audio card if you use this MB.

Now when I think about it, I have been using SB live 5.1 for years now and I have changed several platforms (VIA KT 400, Nforce2 (Soltek, Epox), Nforce 3 (soltek) and finaly Nforce 4 and have noticed strange behaviour with many of them in combination with mentioned card (I had to remove additional raid controller card because of skipping video and audio during video capturing on Nforce 2 platform). Now with SB live 5.1 removed, on MSI neo 4-FI it seems that occasional freezing of video on my DVB-T Pinnacle card has gone. I was convinced that the reason was weak reception (although my neighbour from just a few blocks away had excellent picture), but now I am not so shure. I don't know if I want to risk the possibility of repeating all those problems again even if it' "The most powerful audio processor in the world".

To use the powersaving features, I have

in /etc/rc.local. This works as expected, but when I load the vbox-modules on startup, I get the following errors:

ich habe seit meiner Neuinstallation Probleme mit meiner Audigy 2 Karte.
Ich habe auf meinem Rechner WinXP Prof. SP2 , DX 9.0c ,neuinstalliert und direkt danach die Soundkarten Treiber ?ber das Internet von Creative.com installiert.
Ich habe das File "SBAX_WEBUP_LB2_08_0004" ( 34,2 MB ) installiert.
Anschliessend neugestartet und noch einmal ?ber Creative.com ein Autoupdate durchgef?hrt, dabei habe ich folgende Files downgeloaded & Installiert.
"Creative SoundFont Bank Manager Web Update ver .00.2__" ( 6,09 MB )
"Creative MediaSource Player_Organizer 3.30.2__" ( 52,2 MB )
"Creative MediaSource Go! 3.0.5__" ( 2,3 MB )
Neustart. Anschliessend noch :
Gracenote "CDDB_PCApp_LB_2_40_02" ( 3,99MB )
Neustart.
Nun hab ich das Problem das ich leider meinen "alten" SURROUND MIXER und mein SPEAKER SETUP nicht mehr installieren kann. Beide brechen mit der Fehlermeldung " Die Erforderlichen Komponenten wurden vom Installationsprogramm nicht erkannt. Das Installationsprogramm wird beendet " ab. Was kann ich da tun ? Genau DIESE BEIDEN Programme sind recht Wichtig f?r mich.
w?re Super wenn mir jemand helfen k?nnte ?

Vielleicht habe ich das auch mit der Installation der Audigy verwechselt. Sorry.
Wenn ich derzeit die Treiber der X-Fi installiere, installiere ich immer die ben?tigten Anwendungen von der Original-CD. Erst danach mache ich die Updates von der Web-Seite drauf - allerdings immer manuell. Das Autoupdate habe ich leider noch nie probiert.
Bei der Audigy und 2 habe ich am Schluss auch immer nur die Treiber installiert, sonst nichts. Die Lautsprecher-Einstellungen habe ich dann einfach mit der Audio-Console vorgenommen. Lautst?rke, Bass, H?hen kann man ja genausogut mit den Standard-Windows-Programm vornehmen, den Sinn der zus?tzlichen Creatve-Programme ging mir zunehmend verloren. Bei der X-Fi kann ich leider nicht alles mit Board-Mitteln einstellen, deshalb installiere ich nun wieder die Software..
An Deiner Stelle w?rde ich alles mal deinstallieren. Dann Original-CD und die heruntergeladenen Updates installieren. So klappts bei der X-Fi wunderbar.

Problems with ATI drivers and gnome3?

I've tried to install gnome3 off of the gnome-unstable repo (sudo pacman -S gnome-unstable/gnome gnome-unstable/gdm I'm assuming that's the proper command). However, when GDM starts, my screen just flashes a cursor, goes blank, turns off, and repeats. Is there a problem with ATI drivers or is the package just not working at all right now?

I'm also having troubles with Catalyst and gnome3 (I'm ussually in i3 btw) just playing with it tho. Seems to detect my graphics as 'VESA: JUNIPER" which probably means it's using some sort of fallback, eitherway it's not very functional and messes with my X server a bit
EDIT: I can get into gnome, but there's a lot of flickering doing anything, should proabaly check for bugs on their tracker

Problems with ATI Radeon HD 2600, electrical interference or flickering pixels
I have a Macro 8 core purchased just 4 months ago with the ATI Radeon HD 2600. Just started getting what looks like electrical interference or flickering pixels all over the screen. It gets worse and worse to the point where i see and cant work then clears up for an hour and then comes back.
If I change the resolution from 1680x1050 to 1600x1200 everything looks fine and the problem goes away.
Monitor works fine on two other computers, driver is up to date.
Would like to upgrade at some point just disappointed that I’m already having problems.
Any suggestions would be very helpful, in the mean time I’ll searching the forums.

Problem with Indesign CC 2014 and tables. The text rearranges itself when I delete or add something in a table; the footnotes to the text associated with the overlap even getting unreadable. Just click on the chain symbol in the window and everything is fine. Why?

I hada problem with ATI in my xorg 7 and my solution was to change the xorg.conf driver to ...vesa.
I don't know if your card supports fglrx but I suspect it may not and the ati-drivers are for that function.
Just a thought...

Eli nuo arvot löytyy todennäköisesti sen virtalähteen kupeessa olevasta tarrasta. Se 12 volttia pitäisi olla vähintään 12 amppeeria että se riittäisi kunnolla radeonin näytönohjaimelle. Yleensä 300 wattinen poweri on riittävä, eli siinä tarrassa pitäisi olla maininta ainakin siitä kokonaistehosta, esim total output 300w tai jotain vastaavaa. Vika voi aivan hyvin olla jossain muuallakin, mutta yleensä täällä aina ensimmäiseksi syylliseksi arvellaan virtalähdettä, itselläni kyllä toisessa koneessa radeon 9200se näytönohjain toimii vaikka virtalähde on vain 200 wattinen. Firefox 6.0.1 causes extreme problems with ATI Catalyst 10.x drivers on a Win7 x64 system. Took me quite awhile to identify, but when I roll back to Firefox 6.0, no problems. Once Firefox recognizes this and reinstalls the 6.0.1 update then severe display driver problems occur causing very erratic display behavior and ultimately rendering the system inoperative. The problem appears to occur within a minute or two after Firefox has been opened and it occurs even if Firefox has been subsequently closed prior to the actual event taking place. I have attempted this 6 times just to ensure that the problem was associated with the 6.0.1 update.

On Mac OS, plugins are installed to a common location, usually ''' /Library/Internet Plugins''' for system-wide availability or to '''~/Library/Internet Plugins''' for a specific user. Ref: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_plugins#Background

iTunes is a mess! It couldn't find it's own libraries and I was forced to create a new one. Now I don't know where my music is or if any's missing.
