Problems with auto-cap of I on ios6?

I upgraded my 4s to iOS6 and not my auto capitalization of "I" is not working. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Yeah I tried making a shortcut to make i into I, but it has to be two characters. I guess I'll just go into the store tomorrow and see if anyone else has had problems with it with iOS6. I haven't heard that anyone has had any wonderful experiences with it yet

Problems with auto upgrade Anyconnect 3.1

Hello,
I'm having problem with auto upgrade of Anyconnect 2.5 to 3.1.
Here is the situation :
I have ASA5510 running ASA 8.4.5 and clients are running Anyconnect 2.5.3055 and 3.1.00495 with 2 different profiles.
Clients with 2.5 can upgrade to 3.1 but then receive an "Invalid host entry" when they try to connect with new client. It works if they use FQDN instead of profiles. It's the same situation with Windows 7, Mac OS X and linux.
If I configure client software back to 2.5 on ASA, it works again for every client.
Do you have an idea ?

I have seen the same behavior on Mac OS X. A couple of points for me:
If I delete the profiles from /opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile then I can connect once (using the FQDN) but it then downloads the client profile and on next attempted connection it receives "invalid host entry." My profiles use the FQDN of my ASA and both forward and reverse DNS resolution are configured properly.
My workaround is to remove the AnyConnect Client Profile entirely, but I can get away with that because I have a very simple setup, with all users in one default group. If I had to pass different profile information to different users that would not be a solution.
Second, better workaround: I just exported the client profile, imported it under a different name, edited the new client profile to remove the server address, and assigned the new profile to the group policy. At their next login, users get all the profile settings and since the client remembers the FQDN they used to connect it doesn't adversely affect the user experience.

Problem with Small Caps

I have a problem with small caps when using Times New Roman and Helvetica, but not when using Adobe Garamond Pro, and would like to find out why.
I generate the small caps within InDesign by the "TT" box in the Control Window. Adobe Garamond comes up with beautiful small caps that blend in with the surrounding text. When I do the same with Helvetica, the small caps, especially if they have normal caps amongst them, are quite inelegant looking because of different letter widths.
So I did some experiments with half a dozen other serif and sans-serif fonts and none of them were as elegant as Adobe Garamond Pro. For a sample of what I mean, download:

which compares three fonts: Adobe Garmond, Heletica, and Times New Roman.
Unfortunately, I did not pick up this problem until I received my first proof from the printers, and now I will have to change all the Helvetica small caps to normal caps, as I can see no other way of overcoming this inelegancy.
I checked in New Scientist magazine (it uses a serif and sans-serif font throughout, and what I thought I remembered as small caps to begin their stories) to see what they do, but they actually use caps instead of small-caps at the beginning of stories.
Three questions:
Q1: Is the way I generate small caps the correct way?
Q2: Is there something wrong with my Helvetica and Times New Roman fonts?
Q3: Could it be that only Adobe Garamond has an internal, properly designed small caps?
I have checked the attributes of the fonts: Garamond is Open Type Postscript, Helvetica is PostScript Type 1 , and Times New Roman is TrueType.
Any comments most appreciated.

Thanks for the hints. I tried Scott's method and it works with a bit of extra adjustment. The settings I obtained for 12 point Helvetica were:
Horizontal and vertical scaling: 70.5%;
Stroke: 0.1 pt
Tracking: +25 em
Baseline shift: +0.1 pt
The steps to obtain small-caps 12 pt Helvetica are:
Step 1: Type text as normal.
Step 2: Select only the lower-case text you want to convert to small caps. i.e if what is to become small caps already has a capital (such as a place name) do not apply the settings to the capitals, unless that's the effect you want.
Step 3: Apply the above settings manually or via or Character Style.
Problem 1: How do I rid my Character Style of the font size so that only the scaling factors remain? As it is, if I want to apply small-caps to a different font size than the one I have set up, I have to manually change the font size after applying the style.
Problem 2: The scaling factors do not appear to work for changes in font size. When I used 24 pt and applied the above settings, the small-caps were too thin. The method only really works for a particular size, which in reality is all you would normally require.

Mail has problem with auto address.

My mail recently has had a problem with auto addressing. Sometimes it fills in the address, at other times it will not. I have checked mail preferences often...making sure auto-address is on. I CAN use the address book to click on an address when auto addressing doesn't work. Mail is also quirky about quitting and sometimes preferences have to be re-edited to send. Basically, it is behaving badly. What to do? Thanks ACE

Later...12/03. Autofill not working with mail or safari. Autofill icon, when touched says something like...autofill has no infomation. this is weird, since it had been working nicely for 2.5 years. I've tried everything I could think of. Need a pro's help...MNICE

after few days of setting up the ZESM , but then i was unable to find is there any setting which can "AUTO PUBLISH " into the Client side . Without the Client need to use the manual "UPDATE POLICY " button ?
Because , we find it that to make it silent update without the CLIENT side need to manually click the UPDATE POLICY , so i would wonder is there any way to have the AUTO UPDATE the policy from SERVER side ?

Problems with Auto approval workflow (WS 10000060) for shopping carts

Hi SAP Network community,
I have got a problem with the auto approval workflow for shopping carts.
Basically the workflow approves the shopping cart once it was created.
But then the related Purchase Order remains in Status held. If the PO gets ordered manually then it is not transferred to the R/3 backend system.
For testing purposes also the one step approval workflow was activated. If the shopping cart gets approved by clicking into the detail approval screen (not by approving through the green tick box in the shopping cart overview) then the PO gets ordered and transferred to the backend system as normal.
But if the shopping cart gets approved by using the green tick box in the shopping cart overview then the same problem occurs as described for the auto approval workflow.
The system version is SRM 4.00
Did anybody have the same or similar problems with the auto approval workflow and what could be the reason for this problems.

Which SRM Workflow Scenario are you using (IS it Item level workflow or Shopping cart level Workflow) ?
Are you using customized SRM Business workflow or Standard SRM Workflow ?

Aperture 3 : recurring quality problems with "auto levels"

I've been using Aperture 3 since the day of its release, and I have recurring problems with the quality of the "auto levels" output, compared to plain old Photoshop CS3. Auto-levels in Aperture 3 frequently output grainy results.

I would like to know if I'm the only one to get such crappy results in Aperture, on a not insignificant number of photos. These poor results are very visible in some photos. This is really irritating, because this lack of quality means I have to open those images in Photoshop just to apply auto-levels. And I thought Aperture would be smart enough to spare me those round-trips!
(By the way I've never had this kind of quality problems in Photoshop.)

Problem with auto install of Photoshop CS4

I'v a problem with the installation of Adobe Photoshop CS4 under Windows 7. It's working
with Windows XP. I've a Exit code: 7 (Unable to complete the silent workflow). I use the
command Setup.exe --mode=silent or Setup.exe --mode=silent --skipProcessCheck=1 or the same commande
with de response file but always the same error code.
Can you help me to resolve my problem ?

Problems with auto update

I just bought a new 60GB ipod video. When I connected to itunes on my pc, it started the automatic upload, but experienced an error after about 4,000 of the 6,000 songs in the library. It said "unknown error (Type 69)." After reading other posts, where people suggested reloading itunes, I tried the various remedies, but eventually returned the ipod to Best Buy and got a new one.
When I brought it home the new one did the same thing, at almost the exact same spot. I noticed that a few songs in my itunes could not find the files that went with them, so I tried to purge those files. When I reconnected the ipod, it synced another 200 songs and then experienced the error again.
So I know it isn't a problem with the ipod. Any ideas?

I've been having a problem with auto-fill in the email on my ipod touch.

I have updated to new email addresses, or accidnetly typed in the wrong on, and now the email addresses won't go away, even though they're not in my contacts. So when i said for instance i want to send a message to [email protected] and it just changed to [email protected], the [email protected] keeps popping up even though i dont need it anymore and it has been removed from my contacts. I have also looked on the internet if any other people have had problems, and they all have had iOS4, and all of them have the same problems except for some, the copybot.com worked, but as well a couple said it did not. I really hope apple updates the software once again and removes the autofill from all email addresses.I have updated the iOS5.1 software, i have the 4th generation ipod touch, and yes i've tried to copybot.com and selected each previous sent email address one by one and restored it, but nothing changed and it wasn't fixed. I have also went into the settings and went to change the auto-correction tab, but that as well didn't work. I dont know if im the only one with this problem, but cant you please help:/ It really is a bother. Thanks(:

TS3899 Problem with e-mails after upgrade to IOS6 on iPhone 4S

I can no longer sync my e-mails (Yahoo) on my iPhone 4S after I upgraded to IOS6. It was fine with my previous version of IOS5...
I tried all of the methods suggested already (restarting device, deleting and adding mail account again) but still no luck.
Is this a bug I can fix?

Its not the carriers its the IOS 7.0.2. I never had this problem until I did this darn update. Im getting mad and about to go back to the samsung. My hubby has the same iphone 4s but didnt do the update and has no problems. Apple needs to fix this fast or Im trashing this phone

Problems with Auto Pay Activation

Three months ago, I spoke to a Verizon person (English speaking) and signed up for Auto Bill Pay and was told it could take two billing cycles to activate. Apparently, this has never happened because I received a third bill indicated I have a past due amount due immediately along with a fee. This is the second time it's happened. The last time, I was able to get the fee waived. What is the problem? I do what I can to make sure Verizon gets paid and on time through the use of their service and was told it was being processed. Instead, I had to take additional time out of my day to wait on hold, explain the situation to a customer service rep, beg for credit on fee, and get told it's fixed only to have the same thing happen again. Why is doing business with Verizon so difficult? I'm seriously frustrated. And please, if a Verizon rep is going to reply to this post, DO NOT tell me how you understand my frustration and how Verizon does it's best to service its customers as it comes off as disingenuous. Also, I can't find a way within my account to set this feature on or off. Anyone know where to go?

How are you supposed to know when to pay yourself, and when Verizon will take payment automatically? I don't want to pay twice. I also signed up for auto pay so that Verizon _would_ pay automatically. I made my first payment myself, and then trusted that Verizon would do the 2nd one (more than a month later). Verizon didn't take autopay, even thought it said clearly on the autopay signup site that it would, and now I'm being charged the late fee!

Problems With Auto-Prepare (i586)

I'm having some issues with the auto-prepare section of the installation. I'm using the i586 version of Arch, but I don't think that should be an issue. When I choose Auto-Prepare, it displays an error and tells me to look at vc/5 for the log. This is what vc/5 says:
"sfdisk: seek error: wanted 0x00000000000 got 0x0000000000"
Anyone know what my issue is? I've tried a few IDE drives and a SCSI for good measure but have the same issue. I'm using a Via EPIA V10000 motherboard if that makes a difference.

If it's a Nehemiah (model 9+) 686 should work.
Else if it's pre model 9, it lacks the 686 cmov extension and 586 is required.
But, as for the problem at hand, I'd try partitioning the drive with fdisk by hand and see if that works as the autopartition doesn't call fdisk.

Problems with Auto Pay

We recently set up auto pay on one of our lines. The information (routing & account information) was given to Verizon via their website and everything looked like it was going to be "peachy".
The due date came, no money was withdrawn from the account at the end of business day so we tried to get online the next day to pay the bill. When we logged into the Verizon account it said "cash only".
After calling the local store, then going in and talking to them at their request. We were told to call customer service. In reality after talking to 4-5 agents, they say no one can lift this "cash only" status. Instead we now have to contact our bank, let the bank say our accounts are in good standing, on their letter head blah blah blah. Then, Verizon gets to decide if we are legit customers?
After leaving Sprint in 2012 to come to Verizon I can say it was the worst decision I have ever made. I wanted the better service, but I never expected to have the problems I am having now.
On our other line, the bill pay did the same thing, stopped working, I called in right away - the next day - made the payment and moved on. This time, on the other line, I have to deal with driving 45 minutes to the closest store to pay an account, in cash. This is 2013 who pays in cash for anything!
Word of warning - don't trust auto pay for the first 2 months. Ever. It was a pain the first time, not is a royal mess and solidified me leaving Verizon at the end of my contract in a year.
Does anyone have any suggestions? We are in the process of gathering the information from the bank and getting it over to Verizon. I just seems like a total waste of resources for a payment that is 24 hours late - and never been late before.

You just need to be enrolled in paperless billing and have a myverizon account. It's always been that way and there hasn't been any change in the policy so far. If you don't want to be enrolled in autopay, you don't have to be.
