Problems with "Available Space" on my new MacBook

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with Retina display, I have only had it a few months, but it already seems to be messing up and I'm not sure what I should do. Safari keeps refusing to load or freezing, causing me to have to reset it at least once a week. Then there is the real issue which is that a warning box pops up every time I open it up, or try to work in Photoshop, saying that I don't have enough space available. I can't imagine that this is possible since I have next to no pictures on my computer (I'm a photographer), because I keep them on my external hard drive due to the "space" warning.
This are the stats on my computer:
2.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
256GB Flash Storage

I´m having problems with my wifi an my new Macbook pro. It doesn´t remember the network so every time I log on - I have to "join a network". I have "ticked" the "remember password" box. I´m connecting to a wireless network on an regular Speedtouch router at home. I´m new to Mackintosh.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Problem with bult-in isight in new Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz multitouch

i have bought new Macbook Pro. I try install Windows XP and bootcamp to fit drivers to all hardwares. At the beginning, isight worked probably when i click "My Computer" then click the webacam icon. After a long time, I did it again and I saw:
"Video Preview Failure.Creation of the video preview failed.Please check the device connection and make sure that the device is not being used by another application or user."
although i haven't known which program was using it.I did many ways to solve this problem but i couldn't. After that, I installed a fresh window XP again and isight continued working probaly. At this time, I did a check to find out which program was using my isight. I did like that one time installing a program and check isight working one time. And i saw that after installing Yahoo Messenger, my isight meet the problem like above.
Can anybody give me a comment? Thank you

I don't use Windows, but if you get no better help here, I suggest you boot your Mac into OS X and use the suggestions in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight to be certain that your iSight works correctly in OS X.
If you still have trouble with your iSight in Windows although your iSight works in Mac OS X, boot back into Windows XP. Then use Windows XP > Help on your Mac or click here for the Windows Help Web Page to check whether your problem might be related to installing, configuring, or using Windows.
If the above does not help you solve your problem, or if you already know that the problem only occurs when you are using Yahoo! Messenger, check Yahoo! Messenger > Help on your Mac or click here for the Yahoo! Messenger Help Web Page. Yahoo! Help should be best the best information source on how to Troubleshoot their application on your system.

hey mate i used to have the same problem and i got computers maintenance guys out to fix it in the end and all it was, was the router.. got a new one and it was all good after that! i think some routers just arent compatible for some reason or another.

Boot Camp problems with Windows 7, and a new Macbook Pro

When I try to install Windows 7, when the process is almost complete and Windows is finalizing all settings, the system reboots then gets stuck at the white/gray bootscreen, and then tries to boot from disk, only to repeat the bootscreen cycle indefinitely. How do I fix this? Thank you very much.

My MAC BOOK is 13 inch, first generation of unibody that I bought when it first came out last November, 2009. It seems that the latest boot camp 3.1 does not support windows7 64 bits on my mac book model. I followed Apple instruction to upgrade boot camp 3.0 when running XP 32 bits. And I then upgrade my XP 32 bits to 64 bit Windows 7. The upgrade/installation was successful but I encountered a lot of problems with the mouse and sound.
1. No sound with my new Windows 7 64 bits.
2. I managed to make Windows 7 64 bit recognize my apple mighty mouse. But the mouse does not funtion normal as expected. It does not work with swiping and scrolling.
3. I could not re-install boot camp 3.0 from windows.old nor from the Mac OS X installation disk. When I tried to run setup.exe from the MAC OS X snow leopard, I got the error "Boot camp x64 is unsupported for this model"
I am really disappointed that boot camp 3.1 is not universally supported for all mac book or mac book pro.
I need help to re-install boot camp for my Windows 7? I bought the upgrade through education upgrade program and I selected to get 64 bit version so I do not want to rollback the installation to 32 bit.
Please help.

Problem with available space on bootcamp

Hi everybody, I installed Windows 7 on my MBA to get some specifical applications, and I don't have available memory anymore.
I created a 35go allocation for windows and installed only two softwares : one of 3Go and one of 1Go, and I noticed that everyday I had less memory available.
I definitely can't find what's the problem, I thought that it was the "restoration" process, but it isn't, I installed CC cleaner and it only gave me 365mo more space.

There are 2 reliable methods to enlarge a Windows Partition on a Mac (in Boot Camp)
1. Remove the BC created partition using Boot Camp, this will return your drive to as it was prior to partitioning it with BC. Then start over.

Problems with mp3 files on my new MacBook

I just received my macbook for college in the fall but i wanted to put a little bit of music on it as well. So, i purchased xtorrent (after hearing how compatible it is with macs) and the 15 dollar license from its website. (it happened when i tried the trial of xtorrent as well, maybe i shouldnt have bought but i know there has to be a fix to it) However, to my dismay after downloading about 200 songs i realized there were about 70 files that i never downloaded. And most of them were only about 30 seconds or less (some were even read as 0:00), just songs from artists i downloaded but songs i did download. A lot of these random songs were also duplicated two or even three times in some cases. This didnt happen im pretty sure when i downloaded an entire album off of xtorrent, but when it was one or two files from an album they would download other parts of the album i never asked for. i tried dealing with it and just deleting the mp3s i didnt dl, however, that was tooooooo annoying and pointless cause they just kept coming. Well if anyone can tell me why this is happening you will basically make my week cause i really want my music now, thanks ( i am new to macs so this could be a simple mistake, but its really weird and its concerning me a lot)
p.s. i know mac os is nearly indestructible when it comes to viruses, but is there really no need for an antivirus software, cause i wouldnt mind buying it if it would save my mac

Problems with VMWare Not Working on new MacBook

I am still learning on my first MacBook. I purchased VM Ware to run Windows and it work for several months very well. More recently I have noticed part of its' features don't work. I can no longer drag/drop file between the two systems and I also cannot open (with a right click) Word/Excel/Publisher files from Mac into VM Ware Fusion. So basically I cannot open any of my Window document files that are saved on my Mac anymore. This happened with an earlier version of VM Ware. Then I upgraded to new version 2 and it work fine again for about 2 weeks, not it doesn't just like before as I just said. I reloaded the latest update of VM Ware again and it did not resolve the issue. I am stumped as to why these features stop working as I have not changed any settings. Please help!!! It appears as if only some videos on YouTube will play using HTML5 and without Flash. For example, this video plays just fine for me and I do not have flash installed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxEWddT44BY
So, unfortunately, you will have to install flash or wait for YouTube to fix their website.
Also, one thing to try: When I had Flash installed and the "ClickToPlugin" Safari extension installed, YouTube would load all the movies in a simple HTML5 format. So no annotations or any other annoying stuff. Might be worth trying. You will have to install flash but, with the "ClickToPlugin" extension, you don't have to use Flash.

Problem with FW CS5 and my new Macbook Pro

i own an MBP, i5, 4gb ram.
FW performes quite slow. especially show/ hide edges, or switching to the prewiev mode lasts very long. about 10 sek. within this time the whole OSX dosnt work.
i dont have this problems at any other adobe products.
can anyone help?

Battery life is a function of how much you make the MBP work. Games and video the battery resources get used up very quickly. Text edit and email, you will approach the advertised figure, but probably never reach it.

Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

Office Web Apps Server 2013 - Word Web App - Problem with Tab space

Hello We have Office Web Apps Server 2013 running with SharePoint 2013. Users Editing a Word document with Office Web Apps, can't use "Tabs", any Word document with Tabs; the tabs are replaced with a single space.
Has anyone noticed this? Is this a bug?

I am having a problem with Windows Fusion installed on a MacBook.

I am having a problem with Windows Fusion installed on a MacBook OS 10. When attempting to use a Browser, (either IE, or Chrome), under Windows Fusion, I cannot browse to ANY page except Gmail.com.
I checked all security settings, and found no problem. Neither browser will allow me to do ANYTHING other than go to Gmail.com!!!
I am not sure if I have some virus on my Windows side, because Google and Safari both work perfectly on my Apple side, just not when running Windows Fusion.
Is there some setting I am missing, or do you think I have malware/virus issues?? My Internet connection is DEFINITELY working fine - I can send, receive, open, and close all my email on Gmail only, and can navigate freely on Gmail, but cannot get to any other site even hyperlinked to Gmail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you've already tried my previous suggestions, it may be that something has tampered with the DNS settings in your Windows VM, which might bypass the settings your Mac uses. Assuming you're using Windows 8, these instructions explain how to check and change the DNS settings. There's also a link in those instructions listing a variety of suggested DNS settings. I'd take it into my local APple store and have them look at it. There may be something wrong inside your device.

Problem with availability check due to credit block

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem with availability check for a sales order which is blocked against credit check
Like, i have a open sales order with mulitiple line items around 10 line items, out of which all the 10 line items have unrestricted stock and got confirmed when availability check has been performed , but we could able to proceed through delivery and billing only for 9 line items. Hence there is 1 line item in the sales order which didn't get delivered. But when we tried to do the availability check the system is confirming the quantity with credit block. But after the sales order has been released thru VKM3 from credit block again the schedule lines are showing confirmed quantiy as "0" .
Credit message observed : " Credit check (maximum percentage for open exceeded)".
An earlier response would be of greater help extension to me , and i shall be greatly obliged to you all.

once confirm actual stock is there for that line item if yes then may b stock blocked by Credit block.Release the stock reserved by credit blocked sales order through back order processing.

Select sale order want to change the confirmed qty. SAVE.
and again come to VA02 and run availablity chek.
