Problems with cached previews and File Not Found errors in preview and build

I am having serious issues with Encore CS5.
When I try and build a preview or disk/image I am getting File Not Found errors. I have emptied the media cache in the preferences but my project still seems to be referencing previously cached files or rendered menus. Is there any way to manually delete previous previews or the cache. I know that there are no missing files in my project. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I am running Mac OS 10.6.4 and Encore 5.0

Hello. I have just reinstalled Arch on my system (yes, wanted to start all again!) and this weird error happens every time I try to do anything under pacman:

...and the last line repeats itself many times. After that, pacman works just fine.

Just let me tell that the only thing I did after the actual install is "pacman -Syu". Sorry, I have no clue about what's happening. Any help would be appreciated.

"FILE NOT FOUND" KEEPS POPPING UP AND THE MP3 FILE IS MISSING?

I PULLED AN MP3 FILE FROM MY ITUNES LIBRARY THAT RUNS OFF MY EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE INTO A SESSION AND CHOPPED IT UP AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE! THEN I DRAGGED MY FILES OVER TO MY EXTERNAL HARDDRIVES TO FREE UP SPACE BUT DRUG THAT PARTICULAR PROJECT FOLDER BACK TO MY MACBOOK PRO AND WHEN I OPENED THE SESSION THE FILE NOT FOUND ERROR POPPED UP AND THE MP3 IS NOT IN PLAYBACK SESSION? THE PARTS I CUT UP ARE NOW GREY AND THE AUDIO BIN SHOWS THE NAME OF FILE BUT WITH AN ! AT THE END AND WILL NOT PLAY?????? WHAT DO I DO???? With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

LifeInSharepoint Metro UI Sandbox and File Not Found

We just deployed the LifeInSharePoint Metro UI solution, and we are now experiencing login problems.
Site Collection Administrators can log in to the site and access all pages without incident.
But site owners cannot login to the welcome.aspx page: File Not Found, Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.... If a site owner is made a site collection administrator, then they can log in without incident.
Also, a site owner CAN log into the
http://[site]/_layouts/viewlsts.aspx. But once there, attempting to go to the home/welcome page results in the File Not Found error.
If the LifeInSharePoint solution is deactivated, the site owners can access the site as expected.
Any thoughts/comments appreciated, thanks.

It does say: : The file /sites/DOE/_catalogs/masterpage/LifeInSharePoint.master does not exist. But I go to that section of the site and it is listed, again site collection administrators can access it.
I understand that not running SharePoint under AD is unusual so perhaps that it is making this difficult to diagnose. I do plan on installing AD this week.

Quicktime would fail to write/export to server windows share with "Error -43: file not found" errors

Summary:
With the combination of Windows 7 and Quicktime 7.x, Quicktime would fail to write/export to server windows share with "Couldn't create output movie storage" and "Error -43: file not found" errors
Steps to Reproduce:
Trying to render to Quicktime files using network shared folders as a destination:
Unable to open file. (-1610153459)
The funny thing: it only happens when there are at least two shared folders mapped on the workstation, and the destination folder used for the rendered movie is not the first one.
If we have only two mapped drives, F: and G: for example, and we try to render something to F:, everything works fine and no error is showed. But, when the destination is the G: drive, rendering never works, the error is showed, but a zero-byte file is created in F: (!!). ODD! If we remap F: drive with a different letter, but a letter BEFORE G:, the problem always happens. If we remap drive F: to any letter AFTER G:, making G: the first available network drive, rendering works. Also, simply unmapping F: and leaving G: as the only connected network folder makes render to work.
We do not have a D: drive in our Windows 7 workstations, they are all C: only.
It is a 100% reproducible problem. We tried with three different Active Directory networks and workstations. It has all of the features of a software bug.
Any help would be appreciated.

The workaround seems to be to use the full path to the servers instead of the mapped mount point (ie //server/z/... instead of Z:/...
Regression:
All versions of quicktime 7 in combination with windows 7 client and more than one smb share point mapped in a letter.
Notes:
All software that uses quicktime movie exports showed this error.

Not sure what file your are referencing? Thanks for your suggestion, however, it's not relavant.
It renders fine if you render to either the UNC path or the first mapped drive.
i.e. If you have two mapped drives G: and H:
they both point to \\fileserver\share1\folder
If you render to H: it will fail, if you render to G: it works! Same path, same user, same permissions.
The only difference is H comes after G, so it fails... BUG. If it was to do with anything else, underscores, permissions etc, it would fail on both.

Most search engines are not working, only Google Search works and I get 404 file not found error when clicking the links.

I have been trying virus killers, malware software from microsoft, I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, I used the option to change all my options to the basic default installed options, I am able to search without problems using Internet Explorer on all search engines, Google Search engine works in firefox browser; but all the links give the 404 file not found error. Links from my Gmail account do not work either...giving me the 404 error. Firefox is much faster than Internet explorer however, this link problem makes me wonder if firefox is really any good.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

Get file not found error when I try to sync

I get file not found error when I try to sync Iphone.

The use of the .WMV was because that was part of the Library .EM template. I would not anticipate problems with other formats, so long as they are supported and the same for all of your Menus in the Project.
If you have done several Motion Menu Renderings, you might want to clear Encore's Media Cache, just in case it is still referencing previous Render files.
And yes, the re-Importation should yield the same result as Linking/re-Linking.
Unfortunately, I do not have CS4, so I can't test this for you. There do seem to be a few real Bugs in the various CS4 programs, and maybe this is one?
That "File Not Found" rings a bell in my feeble brain. Seems that there was a post on that, but I do not remember it being related to Motion Menus. Maybe search will yield something of use.

Everytime i try to make a new project logic pro does not accept audiophiles i use from other project-folders (File not found, Error= -43).
Even with the newest logic-version (10.0.7) and also a new mac book pro (moving via migration assistant) it does not work.

I have a 'file not found' problem with Logic Express. A while back I transferred all my Logic files to DVD to make room on the hard drive. It took 4 discs, saved alphabetically by song title. Now, I nearly always get the 'file-not'found' error message when I try to work on something. Sometimes when I click 'search' it finds the file, sometimes it doesn't. I'm confident that I didn't delete the files.
Wondering if 'search' would find the files if I transferred all the files from DVD to a single folder on an external drive. I don't use the 'search manually' option, because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or where to look. In the other room, perhaps? 'Computer challenged' is me. Any suggestions?

File not found error when opening securedoc.html

We are having a sudden issue where recipients of our secure envelope emails will open a message from us with attachments and they will get a "File Not Found" error message.
We are still using a Post X appliance, but no config changes were made whatsoever and this started happening since last weekend. (Oct. 9-11)
I did reboot the Post X box and thought the problem was fixed w/ the reboot. I sent a secure message to myself and then opened it along with the attachment and all was good. I sent the second test and the problem was back; "File not found".
I have noticed that when I get file not found the address bar in my browser is pointing to: https://res.cisco.com/websafe/eo/error?error=notfound
The time after rebooting when it did work it pointed to file on my local computer hard drive:

File Not Found Error on Fresh MX7 Installation

After spending days getting CFMX 7.0.2 installed on a CentOS5.3 (production) server running Apache 2.2.3 and WHM/cPanel 11, by religiously following Bill Mitchell's lifesaving guide, CF is up and running but I cannot access the administrator or anything else in user public_html directories.
If I place a simple foo bar test file in the /usr/local/apache/htdocs/testfile.cfm directory, I can call it at http://[IPaddress]/testfile.cfm and it parses properly.
However, if I place the same file at /home/cfusion/public_html/testfile.cfm and call it at http://[IPaddress]/~cfusion/testfile.cfm, I get a CF-generated 404 "File Not Found" error.
cfusion is a cPanel account I created via WHM prior to installing ColdFusion as a repository for my CFIDE directory.
If I place a symlink for /usr/local/apache/htdocs/CFIDE -> /home/cfusion/public_html/CFIDE:"File Not Found". If I cp -R my CFIDE into htdocs: "File Not Found." These files are physically there. I can easily verify that of course. But CF is still saying File Not Found. In fact, if I disconnect Apache - JRun, Apache finds the files all by itself no problem. They are definitely there.
I thought this might be a permissions issue, but all my .cfm files are nobody:root 775.

I guess maybe I need to know where the config for webroots is set from the CF/JRun perspective? I'm a decent hand with web server admin stuff, but despite being a CF dev for 10 years, CF admin stuff is still a bit over my head. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm at my wit's end!

Thanks Mack. I set verbose to true in my httpd.conf, restarted Apache, restarted CF, but I can't see any difference in the logging. Errors seem the same, and no additional info.
The Apache error_log file is filled with cryptic stuff that looks like it's referencing JRun. Does any of this mean anything to you? Is there another log file I should be looking at?

FILE NOT FOUND ERROR WHILE INSTALLING ORACLE EM GRID CONTROL 10.2.0.1

FILE NOT FOUND ERROR ON FILES: generalstup, seedstup during the setup phase and when i click ignore from a list of cancel, retry and ignore it moves to the configuration phase and rapidly moves from 63% to 100% and gives the error OUI-10133 invalid staging area. i have tried the install 3 times and dont know what the problem is. i am doing the oracle EM GC INSTALL WITH NEW DATABASE OPTION. i downloaded the full version disks 1-3 from the website:http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oem/index.html
Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Release 2 (v10.2.x)
Full Installers (Agent, Repository, OMS, and Management Packs)
Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Release 2 (10.2.0.1) for Linux x86
when this is extracted it leaves me with Disk1, 2, and 3
install started from 1, then it later asks for two whick happens to instead be but under Dist 3-but there are two disk2's under Disk 3- one under oms and one under rdbms folder. i have tried both and alas same errors
i even triwd the same download from edelivery.oracle.com and gives the same madness
am stuck.

i followed the link and all the instructions things seemed to go well: it still asked for two files i did not have or could not locate: first its asked for generalstub, then it asked for seedstup and then generalstup again. at this point the installation was at 67% and had passed the link succesful stage and was at the setup succeful stage. when i clicked ignore on generalstub, seedstup and then generalstup again it quicly moved to 100% and never took me to the stage for me to run oraInstroot.sh and allroot.sh
the configuration assistant stage never cameup and it skipped to the page Specify Repository Database Configuration
where it asked for repository database hostname port, service/sid and SYSMAN password and also manament service security password. whe i input all the infor mation it will give errors. i have tries deleting all oracle 3 or 4 times and all files that oracle has and repeated the process and am always stuck here.
