Problems with Calender Entries from Exchange Server

I think this just started on Friday or Saturday--
I opened my calender on my iPhone and it seemed a little empty. I noticed that a couple of appointments that I know should be there are not. I restarted the iPhone thinking there was some kind of transient glitch and some (not all) of my missing items appeared. Then disappeared. Then appeared. Then disappeared. Then they stayed gone. Every time I open my calender now, that happens.
It seems that the items that stay put are the ones that I put directly into my iPhone. Many others come and go, and some never show up at all.
Thankfully, my Outlook calender seems to be in good shape, although the new items I have put into my phone since Saturday have not synced.
And my contacts sync with no problem, too. It's just the calender. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a similar problem with one VP's iPhone in our environment. Did some testing today and discovered the following:
* When an appointment is sent to the VP and he accepts the appointment from his iPhone, all seems well, meaning that the appointment is visible both on his computer's Outlook and on his iPhone calendar.
* When an appointment is sent to the VP and he accepts it from his computer's Outlook, it still appears as a "new invitation" on his iPhone and, if he does not respond right away from his iPhone, that appointment disappears from his iPhone. It remains on his Outlook calendar. These missing appointments on his iPhone cause scheduling problems for us, as you can imagine!
So, my question is: how must one handle Outlook appointment schedule acceptance? Further complicating our situation is that this VP has a delegate who accepts appointments on his behalf. We're never quite confident whether his iPhone accurately reflects his actual appointment schedule.

    Within the field% deviation. Your settings in PWA is:
    The formula for field% Deviation:
    Str (IIf ([Job baseline] = 0; IIf ([Working] = 0, 0, 100); IIf ([Working] = 0; -100; Int (100 * ([Job] - [Work Online base]) / [Working baseline])))) + "%"
    Under the heading rows Calculation Summary:
    > Use formula.
    Within the field Allocation Calculation of rows:
    > It is labeled the "Apply unless you manually specify".
    The field [Job] and field [Job baseline] are fields Pack project server.
    The error is in project, in the list of tasks.
    In the top row, this row summary makes the sum of the ranks of the tasks of the file.
    But in my case only in the summary field the same value appears in the tasks.
    In all the cells in column% deviation appears the same value.

  • Help with Moving Emails from Exchange Server 2013

    Hi Team,
    Help, I need a solution on how to copy incoming and outgoing emails together with their attachments and was hoping someone could help with a solution I need to find for this problem.
    1) I have a need to copy all incoming and outgoing emails & attachments from Exchange Server 2013 mailboxes on a daily basis, so they can be archived into an external 3rd party database overnight.
    I believe that the first step is that I can set up another Exchange mailbox, through Journaling to receive these emails. 
    Is there any way that these emails can then be moved direct from the Journaling mailbox that I have created, to a shared folder on the network? If so what format would they be sent out as e.g. .msg, .ems and what is the process?
    Failing that, could they be sent to an Outlook client (not another Exchange mailbox) on the network and stored in a .pst file? (I have a program that will export them from .pst)
    I would really appreciate any assistance that you can provide in this matter.

  • Problem with an account from exchange to google

    I have migrated an email account from exchange to google.  My issue is that when I add the calendar, in the list of accounts I see a ghost account with the exchange icon show up.  It does eventually go away but the google caledar is never usable.  It seems that contacts and email seem to work ok but not the calendar.  It also seem to be related to the entire domain.  The same thing happens if I try to add an account that is on the same domain but has never been added to my phone before.  I can add google acounts from other domains just fine (as long as it has never been an exchange account on my phone.
    Also the accuont is added just fine to a friend of mines palm pre that never had an exchange account.

    Just for test ,make a new account ( system pref ->account -> + button ) , and try configure mail again
    if that work , your problem with mail locate on your account  ( preference , caches ,font somwhere into library folder )
    if not work in new accout , may have problem in mail app or system

    I have been exploring a solution for the following requirement:
    Important Emails such as HR payslips which are being generated from SAP need to be encrypted using security signatures stored at an exchange server.
    I have looked at Secure email proxy but I believe that is a more standard functionality, the payslips are being generated, being converted into pdfs and are being sent as an attachment in emails,all custom coding.
    Is there a way to utilize the secure email proxy feature using custom code?
    Are there other ways to use the existing signatures at the exchange server. Help.sap.com also mentions a badi - SX_secure_email - would this suffice for my needs?

  • Problem with Task Aggregation from Project Server with old Project Server permissions mode.

    Hi, I have installed Sharepoint 2013 with all CU, and Project Server 2013 with June CU update. Later, I attached database from old Project Server 2010 database, all was OK, but now I have my PWA with old Project Server permissions mode.
    After that I have created MySite with users from AD of my company, it's OK, but Task Aggregation not working. Moreover, I have not any errors on the MyTask page.
    You can see that I can insert private tasks, but I can not see any tasks from pwa, however I have a lot of tasks there. Please help me.
    My search works well amd WMA Service too.
    Where directly crawler search the tasks? Maybe there are errors in search log with that ulrs?

    did you setup the Work Management Service Application in the Central Administration? If yes, please check if the Applicationpool account of the Work Managment Service has full Access to the User Profile Service Application (over the Ribbon | Permissions).
    Check also if your Projects are published so that you have a Project Workspace for each Project. In the workspaces you should have a list "Tasks" or "Tasks1" for migrated workspaces. This is important because only Tasks from the workspaces' Tasklist are
    shown in the Mysite
    In any other cases please check the ULS Log and/or the Application Event log. Especially have a look to Distributed Cache Service and the Feed Cache.

  • TLS problems with OIM mailing through exchange server

    Dear All,
    I ran into a problem concerning the internal mailing mechanism Oracle provides in OIM.
    Im trying to send email definitions through a custom made mail adapter.
    Each time i send it i get a 530 5.7.1. Client was not authenticated error.
    We narrowed it down to it being a TLS error since this is required by the exchange mail server we use.
    When we turn TLS off the mails are being sent but when it it turned on again the error returns.
    it seems the used provider, the javax.mail.provider com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport does not issue a TLS session.
    sun also has an SMTPSSLTransport provider but i dont now where i can config oracle to use that one instead of SMTPTransport (or even if this will solve the issue).

    I am actually using that, and sending works fine aslong as TLS is turned off on the exchange server.
    When it is turned on i get the 530 5.7.1 client not authenticated error, presumably caused by the Sun SMTPTransport driver used by the internal mechanism of Oracle IDM.
    So im wondering whether it is possible to say to OIM: dont use the SMTPTransport driver but the SMTPSSLTransport driver (which hopefully can handle TLS calls)
    Anyone? (or clues on how to solve it another way)

  • Move New Mail, Sent Iteam, Calender ETC from Exchange Server to PST Automatically in OUTLOOK 365

    I have recently upgraded from office 2003 to new 365 office.  In outlook 2003 all the iteams of exchange server in Outlook was automatically moving to my default PST. But in new outlook it is not moving automatically to PST. 
    Now creating rule is one option for INBOX new mail but what about new calenter meeting and sent iteams ? 
    Why microsoft has removed this facilty ? what is best way to do that ? Echange server had limited capacity and it is slower comparared to using PST directly. 
    Please advice.

    The option to delivery Exchange emails to pst file has been removed in Outlook 2013. This is because corporations allow for larger Exchange mailboxes, and we can also use online archive or AutoArchive to offload the Exchange mailbox to a pst-file.
    However, if you still want to do this for sent items, we can create the following rule to achieve the goal:
    1. Click Home tab > Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.
    2. Click New Rule button.
    3. Select Apply rule on messages I send, and click Next.
    4. Tick the through the specified account check box.
    5. Click on specified to select your Exchange account.
    6. Tick the check box "move a copy to the specified folder". 
    7. click on specified to select a folder in a pst-file.

    I want to convert data into OBIEE that is coming from a TIMESTAMP field in SQL Server Database. So in SQL Server field has data like '9/20/2012 12:05:08 AM'. I have first changed the datatype in physical layer to DATETIME and then in BMM I do a CAST(<DATE_FIELD> AS DATE). On the frontend when I use this column the error I get back is [nQSError: 59030] Illegal data type conversion from source type: VARBINARY to target type: TIMESTAMP. (HY000). Does anyone know a workaround or solution.

    None of the solutions you mentioned have worked unfortunately. I have a date column and another column that holds user id. I basically want to do a count of all the user id's where that particular date column is NULL. I have checked in the physical layer and the date column in question is coming from SQL Server as a TIMESTAMP datatype. So I initially did not change anything and brought the column in as is but that did not work out. I then tried to change the datatype in the physical layer to DATETIME and then also DATE. After changing the datatype in the physical layer in the BMM I would do a CAST(<date column> as DATE) and this still did not work. I then tried to just change the datatype to DATETIME and DATE without doing the CAST in the BMM and this still did not work. Not too sure what to do now.

    How about your problem now? Have you test other machine also installed Windows 8.1? Did they have this problem?
    To diagnose this problem, firstly, please check Windows 2003R2 firewall settings, also can disable firewall temporarilly for test.
    Secondly, try to use Network Monitor to capture network communication package for test.

    I have a Problem with reading/writing on the Server my Tomcat is running.
    My Application does not find the properties file allthough i tried to get my path with System.getProperty("user.dir"), and also tried to set an absolute path too.
    It is also not able to create a new file.
    My Question: What rights do applications running in tomcat have by dafault?
    How cat i change this rights?
    And how do the path have to look in my code if i want to set it fix?
    I tried thid ones:

    "\\mydir\\myfile.txt"

    Tomcat is a regular application that has the same rights as the user executing it. Does Tomcat run as a user who has access to the directory you are trying to read/write from?

  • Lync 2010 Certificate Issue - "There was a problem verifying your certificate from the server"

    Greetings.
    My Issue:
    Lync 2010 client does not connect to server;error displayed "Cannot sign into Lync. There was a problem verifying the certificate from the server."
    Description:
    The client is running on my Windows 7 box, and my CA server is a Windows Server 2003 box. I have installed the hotfix on the Server 2003 box to update the Web Enrollment portion of CA to allow for newer clients (Vista and 7) to receive certificates from
    this server. 
    Lync server is running on Server 2008 R2 STD, installation was a success.
    The Windows 7 box is a part of the domain.
    I have manually exported the Root CA from my Enterprise CA server from
    Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates and imported into the same location on my Windows 7 box. 
    If I look at the certification path on the Root CA, on my Windows 7 box,  it says "The certificate is OK." The same goes for the servers involved. 
    Still nothing.
    I have read the other forum posts on here about people having success once they manually import the Root CA from the Enterprise CA server, but this is not my case here. 
    All certificates are successfully assigned on the Lync server box; however, I did have to manually import the Root CA into Lync server's
    Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates before I could successfully assign them. Had to do this on another deployment I completed, so I didn't think anything of it.
    To recap: it seems that even with my Root CA imported into my Windows 7 box I can still not connect to my Lync server with the client, and I get the error message "There was a problem verifying the certificate from the server."

    Solved
    Solution :  Export certificate from Lync Server Start > Administrative Tools > IIS > Server Certificate > Export >   abc.pfx   save it,  Copy and place the certificate where Ms Lync 2010 client is installed or getting certificate
    error.  Follow these steps on client machine to install certificate 
    Run > mmc > add or remove snap in > certificates > computer account > local computer >finish > ok > expand Certificate > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificate > All task > Import > copy abc.pfx certificate
    and delete unnecessary certificate from there.
    Restart Client machine and open microsoft Lync client 2010 and open option menu > Personal > Advanced > choose Auto Configuration > save ok

    It is probably that the stuff you doing is for outlook and because outlook is not installed it cannot find the classes.

    the % sign is often used when there's a space in a name. HTML doesn't like spaces so it fills them with % or %20
    try, on the end of that link, see if there's a space built into the page or the link when the page was made
    On the web address you may be able to 'backspace' at the end and erase that space to get the address, but whomever made the page possibly put a mistake in the link
