Problems with camera roll and deleting applications

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me. On my iPhone 3G (with Orange) I am having a couple of issues which I have not been able to resolve.
Firstly, I have no problem taking pictures and them then appearing on my camera roll, but whenever my phone is turned off, these pictures then disappear. This has happened before and after updating my phone with the latest version.
Also, I am unable to delete applications. I have tried pressing and holding an app icon, waiting for it to shake and the "x" to appear and nothing happens. If I then release the icon, it just opens the app. This happens both with the built-in apps and ones I have downloaded.
Any ideas?

I tried this yday, fixed the problem straight away!!

Are you certain that they are both running IOS 6.1.3? Go to Settings>General>About, and check the "Version".

Problems with camera roll

Hi all,
I'm using an iPhone4 (IOS5) and am experiencing some problems wiht my camera roll,
as in all the new photos I took could not be saved to camera roll, and when I tried to view existing photos from the camera roll,
they all appeared to have really weird resolution. Does anyone have good solution to this?
Should I try to restore? If so, how do I restore it to factory setting then read my backup from iCloud?

Problems with camera roll after upgrading IOS 8

Dear All,
I have a question. After I upgraded my Iphone 6 to IOS 8, some of the photos in my camera library are not exist in my camera roll album but still exist in my photo moments. although the photos are still exist, it bothers me. Can someone help me to explain? how can I recover the photos again to my camera roll album.

Hi the next thing i would do is Reset ipad back to Factory Settings This will get rid of any bugs. Use the same Apple, id & password then you will get all your Apps & Data back. I Restore, my iphone& ipads about every 2 months if they are slowing down. Since ios 7 i never use my pc for updates almost everything can be done over Wifi we have 2 iphones 3 ipads and we never have any problems. Cheers Brian

Problem with Web Clipping and External Application

When I use Web clipping with INLINE rendering on usual sites I can move under links, not leaving a portal.
But if I try to make it via the self-made provider with External Application then links do not work.
I press them and it appear in the same place!
Authorization via External Application passes successfully, that is the page is displayed correctly.
But links do not work.
In what there can be a problem?

Always have problems with camera roll

Whether I'm uploading a pic or trying to scroll to the previous pic, or trying to delete, it either doesn't scroll/leaves black squares and acts weird. This is something that should have been taken care of by now. With all of the problems that iPhone4 has had and the media frenzy, how has this not been taken care of?

It is a big problem that will hopefully be resolved with the next update. Go into your multitasking tray and close the photo app and re-sync and see if that removes the black boxes. That usually works for me. Now before I ever do any photo syncing...I always go into my multitasking and close the photo app first. Only a temporary solution...I know.

Problems with camera iMessage and email with ios8.1.3

I have updated to IOS 8OS 8.1.3 my iMessage emails and camera are working one min not the next. My photos and mail flashes on then off. My messages disappear and it looks like I'm not receiving some imessages. I have tried resetting all settings ?? I have tried every thing I can think of Please help

Problem with driver initialization and associated application

I am recertifying a application suite on Solaris 10. This product works well on Solaris 8 & 9. It contains a special psuedo/streams device driver that allows applications to open a port to a daemon that manages clean up of these applications. The daemon is started by init (in the inittab file) and initially also opens a port to the special device. Synchronization in the driver is handled mutexs. The current problem appears to be that the daemon is started by the init process before the initialization routine of the driver is called that initializes the mutex. The result of the problem is that one of the Interrupt service routines in the driver is called due to the open of the port from the daemon to the driver. The routine uses the sychronization mutex which seems not to be initialized which results in a system panic.
Has the flow of driver initialization vs application start via the init process changed in Solaris 10 vs earlier version of Solaris?

make sure all the settings are same as the working version and once undeploy the process then shut dowm the server and then startup -->then deploy the process and again shut down and start it.this should be the trick

N96 Problem with "broken" messages and deleting th...

Hello everybody
I have a N96 with the last firmware version.
It has been in repair for a week and now I got it back, I noticed that all my images are shown as "broken image icons".
When I want to delete them it says: general system error.
I also tried to delete them using Ybrowser but I can't find any pictures, not on any disk!
I'd really like to delete them as I have them stored on my laptop, and the 101 broken image icons slow down my Images menu and they're just in the way...
Please help me! Thank you!

The 'broken' images are not really there. The gallery is not a folder but a database that contains list of images throughout the phone, mass memory and memory card. Some images have been deleted but the database didn't get updated due to some error or corruption.
If you have other copies of the images (ie: on your PC), you could restore them to the phone in the same folder, then they should appear correctly in the galelry again and you can delted them correctly.
UNfortunately, there is no way to refresh the images like you can music files in the music player, so if the above doesn't work you might have to reformat your phone with the code *#7370# - this will delete all personal data in the phone memory, so make a PC Suite backup first.

Nokia 3600 problem with camera flash and image qua...

whenever i take picture with flash on in night mode, the white flash light appears on one side of photo.. since flash is just beside the lens... is it the software problem or are there any settings to remove this... please help....

Night mode is designed to work without flash. So either use flash or night mode, but not both.

when choose some new applications i couldnt download on my iphone.
it stop at de 3 step of sync
the new applications are bbc news, some roman games, le diplomatique news, and only a few more
why?
some are charged, i have to ask my money back.

Cannot see what files ? Music (synced music should appear in the iPod app), films/TV shows (Videos app), documents ... ?

this has been happening all over the world on various phone suppliers and networks and there has still been no official reply from what the problem could be.
its happened to me 3 times within a week and been fine ever since.
no idea if its a phone,3G,4G,supplier,facebook problem.

My iPhone 4 refuses to save pictures and at some instances, delete my existing pictures. I take a picture, and then go to camera roll and look, but it doesn't show up. The same thing happens when I try to screenshot things; it won't save.

My iPhone 4 is severely making me mad. It won't save any pictures I take. I will take the picture, then go to view it in the Camera Roll, and it just won't be there. The same thing occurs when screen shotting things on my iPhone. Some times it won't even let me delete the existing pictures I had on my phone before this all happened. I will click delelte, then it will pause, and eventually close me out of the photos app. However, when I go to settings, it says I have 440MB of pictures on here somewhere. But I can oly see 3 pictures in the camera roll. Also, it says in the camera roll app that it is 'Restoring...' then just sits and loads and won't restore anything at all. HELP ME PLEASE. I have iOS 7.1 currently installed.

Have you Tried Clearing the The Cache in the Camera or Gallery in your Applications Area.. Go to Settings--> Applications--> Manage Applications--> Select All--> Clear the Cache in Both the Camera & Gallery Clearing the Data however might Clear you Pictures in your Gallery but if your Ok with it Give it a Shot,

Deleting pictures from camera roll and photo stream but not from other folders

I am new to I phone and using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.2.
I like to keep my photo folder organised and sorted. For example I created different folders on my iPhone for wallpapers, my personal pics and work pics.
Now after adding all these pics to their respective folders i deleted them from Camera roll and my photo stream ( thinking that they would still be in their folders) and now I am screwed, because everything is deleted .
Thankfully, I have the backup, but please can anyone help me to understand the difference between camera roll and my photo stream and how could i keep all my pics in different folders and just not in camera roll or my photo stream.

The way I do that is to organize them on my computer. I periodically import all of the Camera Roll to the computer. That is a good thing to do to insure you have a copy in case of loss of the phone or other problem, even if you backup the phone. Import can be done by methods described in iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Once they are on the computer I organize them in iPhoto on my Mac. If you have a Windows computer you can organize them in folders. Once they are on the computer I delete them all from the Camera Roll on the phone to make it easier next time -- i.e., the Camera Roll always only contains the photos that I haven't yet organized.
I only want some of the pictures that I am keeping to be sent back to the phone, so in Windows I made a second copy of those (in iPhoto on a Mac I use Albums instead). I had a main folder (e.g. "Photos for iPhone") and subfolders (only 1 level below the main folder) with various topics. Then use iTunes to sync the photos back to the phone (selecting the main folder). iTunes: Syncing photos
The end result is that they are organized in Albums on the phone, are not in the Camera Roll, and I have a copy of them on my computer.

Since installing mountain lion i have a problem with mail. when i delete a message close and open mail the message has come back. please help!

Since installing Mountain Lion i have a problem with Mail. I delete a number of messages from the same person but keep the newest message in my Inbox. I actually delete them from the Trash. The next time i open Mail the deleted messages are back again. Can anybody please help as this is getting annoying. Thanks in Anticipation.

Problems such as yours are sometimes caused by files that should belong to you but are locked or have wrong permissions. This procedure will check for such files. It makes no changes and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
First, empty the Trash.
Triple-click the line below to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
