the problem is
when i install the drivers, works fine but if i compile the module with catalyst-generator. for last kernel i cant saw a film, i test with 2 players and the system restart to login manager.

Problem with WSDL generated with wscompile JAX-RPC

Ok well I have successfully built a Web Service (From an existing wsdl) and Static Stub Client they work perfectly. I then I tried to connect to it using a Delphi Web Service Client. The client cant change, the problem I am getting is it is requesting using the variable name I am using and the WSDL has String_1.
Ie. it gives me:
unexpected element name: expected=String_1, actual= {targetNameSpace} [Variable Name]
I suspect this is a problem with how the WSDL is generated any suggestions?

THanks for the response, I originally used axis WSDL2Java. And only used the interface class. I think this is where my whole thing fell down. Although this worked with a static stub client that I used.
I have now generated the server side java files using wscompile and am l looking how to implement the server. It doesn't look like it has a implementation class there. And there isn't much information on how to do it.

Problems with URLs generated for My/BEx Portfolio in a FPN

Has andone successfully configured a FPN that uses My/BEx Porfolio?
We are facing a problem with the URLs generated when launching a BEx web query stored in either My Portfolio or BEx Portfolio after it has been saved from the BEx Web Analyzer. After saving the KM document in My/BEx Portfolio in BEx Analyzer attempts to execute the link from the Portfolio IView result in "Page not found or not avaialble". The KM document appears to be correct as it can be opened correctly from the BEx Analyzer template.
Current Setup:
Consumer Portal: EP 7 (SP17)
Producer Portal: EP 7 (SP17 patch 11)
BW System: BI 7 (SPS16, BW SP18)
SSO and Trusts are configured and working.
WebDav is configured to store BEx Portfolio entries on the Consumer
Currently RSPOR_T_PORTAL is configured with hostname of Producer, however it was initially configured with Consumer host, resulting in the same problem, though this should not matter, as the RDL IView is used regardless of the setup.
Scenario:
Existing Roles have been imported from BW System into Producer Portal, the roles are not used, only the imported IViews
IViews of the Queries have been included in Consumer Roles using RDL
IView has been added to this role to display local BEx Portfolio links
RDL IView has been added to this role to display Producer My Portfolio links
1. Launch IView of Query included in Role
2. Use Save As functionality to store KM document in My Portfolio or Bex Portfolio
3. Open the cooresponding Portfolio IView and click on the link

Problems with catalyst on latest kernel update [SOLVED]

Hi, after the latest kernel update, I haven't been able to install catalyst. I was using catalyst-test, which is outdated now. And with this new kernel, the driver is not working anymore, so I'm using vesa driver for now.
I'm trying to install the current catalyst package through yaourt, and I get a conflict. The conflict is with catalyst-test which I can't uninstall because of this:

Any other ideas on how to fix this?

Also, everytime I try to reinstall catalyst through yaourt, it downloads the executable from ati.com. Is there a way to avoid this and check if downloaded version is up to date instead of downloading it every time?

Problems with PDF generator (PLT file to convert)

Hello everybody,
I'm having a (maybe) stupid problem trying to print a PDF file from a PLT.
Here I write the steps I followed to do my test:
1- download the example file from http://www.winline.com/evalpen_center.html (GL-C-F.plt)
2- from the Administration Panel of Livecycle ES2 go to Services > LifeCycle PDF Generator ES2 > Convert 3D
3- set as input the downloaded file and leave the default of the other parameters ("Create PDF", "Standard")
4- try to generate the PDF.
Here I have three different issues:
- the first is that in the result page, if I click on the link of the PDF file generated, I obtain the message "File does not begin with '%PDF-'" and nothing happen;
- if I click on it and I download the file, I can see it is a PS file, as if LifeCycle generates the PS but it doesn't print the PDF;
- in the end if I convert the PS to PDF, I cannot see anything because the drawing is completly out of the page and too big to be displayed entirely.
Could you suggest me any kind of solution or what I have to check in the parameters? I don't know what I can do now because I don't have any other idea.
If I try to open the file in Adobe 3D Reviewer, I can do what I want, so I think it's not a problem due to compability.

You'll want to check with the support folks at whatever company makes deskpdf 2.5.

Z77A-G43 boot problem with catalyst drivers

Hi all,
I upgraded my pc this weekend. I have ZH77A-G43 with 3*4GB RAM and ATI HD7850 gfx card.
A new SATA HDD and a fresh windows7 install.
All goes well until I install catalyst drivers. After that, windows will not boot anymore. I can see 'Starting Windows' and after that the screen goes black and pc stops responding.
n safe mode, everything works fine again.
Do the catalyst drivers cause problems on this mobo?

Problem with OBIEE generated query

I'm working on OBIEE 10.1.3.4 version. For generating one report am using five tables , in thses five tables 2 are the fact tables and remaining all are dimensional tables.
In these five tables am using one or more colums in each table and we joined properly for these five tables(we are not getting any error on these joins). The problem is when ever i get query from OBIEE (Administration--->Manage sessions) its not generating a single query , instead of single query its splits into more queries..
Why its not generating the single query ,we are assuming that beacause of these reports are taking time to show the results.
Could you pls suggest me why i'm facing these and also i have these problem for only one report for remainig reports OBIEE is generating sine query.

Problem with printing generated pdf.

I need to print pdf file, that was generated by my application. I am using Apache FOP to generate pdf (xml+xslt). For printing I am using Maxatec MT-150 receipt printer. Seems, that pdf is generated successfully, because I can open it and I also can print it using Windows interface. However, when I am sending it to printer in my JAVA application, printed file is just set of unreadable characters and black lines. I was trying to use different DocFlavors, like DocFlavor.INPUT_STREAM.AUTOSENSE, DocFlavor.URL.AUTOSENSE, but neither had a luck. My code looks like this:

I am sorry, but what error message are you talking about? The only error I get is "sun.print.PrintJobFlavorException: invalid flavor" and as far as I understand it depends on printer, what is supported and what is not supported. Or am I wrong? I am using standard java.awt.print library.
@AndrewThompson64, thanks for the tip!)) It does print correctly, but in this case I am not sure I have enough possibilities to control printing. For instance, my pdf was printed as landscape, but I need portrait.

Problem with maintanenec generator

We have a problem where we have regenerated the maintanence generator of a Z table due to addition of fields, the view looks fine in the Dev environment but when transported to Quality the 2 of the 4 keu field dont show in pointers as to where should we look up.

Try to delete the existing TM generator and create a new TM generator fom the scratch and then trasport the new one to q51 then u will get without any flaws.

Wsdl problem with jwsc generated webservice

I am generating a new webservice with the jwsc command and annotations (only one method at this point, "getDescripteurCourt"). The war file is correctly generated and I can deploy it without problenmes in WLS 10.0
However, when use the webservice test page, I receive the following error

Problem with PRC Generate Draft Invoice

PRC Generate Draft invoice does not generate an invoice for select customers. Receive the "No Eligible Expenditures or Events"
message - however there is a valid manual billing event created. Validated
that all prerequisite information has been completed - project setup, agreement
funded, budget baselined, amount within customer credit limit, customer active,
etc. This process works fine for some customers but not others - it does
appear to be customer specific, not project specific.
Performed the following steps:
1) Created manual billing event - bill amount populated ONLY
2) Ran PRC:Generate Revenue for a Single Project - no revenue since bill amount only
on event
3) Ran PRC: Generate Revenue Accounting Events - no revenue event since bill amount only
4) Ran PRC:Create Accounting - no accounting transactions created since no revenue generated - bill event only
5) Ran PRC:Generate Draft Invoice for a Single Project - ran this individually for
each project.
For the customer thats working we get the below in the log file :-

You can check the things below :
1. Check the Hard Limit. The hard limit setting may be preventing the invoice from
being generated. To check this,
1. Navigate to Billing -> Agreements.
2. Query the agreement for the customer and project you are having
difficulties with.
3. If the HARD LIMIT box is checked this could prevent the invoice from
generating. Uncheck the HARD LIMIT setting.
4. Save your changes.
5. Resubmit the PRC: Generate Draft Invoices process.
2. If Customer on Top task, then check whether the 'Ready to Bill' for the specific Top Task in the Control Billing by Top Task window.

Hello Chris,
Wondering if you've found a solution for this.
I was thinking you could make a web app that used the jQuery dialog, then let the client just put an individual web app item on the home page when they want to have the pop up.
This way it is more like one type of modal window and the client can show whatever they want when they want, and turn it off by removing the module.
You can place the module inside a content holder so they do not mess up any template or page content.

11g Human Task; problem with Auto-Generate Task Form

Using book: Getting Started with Oracle SOA 11g R1, A Hands-On Tutorial
Had success through Chapt 7. Now working through 8, Creating Human Tasks -- almost everything checks out.
Deployed POProcessing success (with 1 warning: assignee not specified)
Deployed ApproveTaskDetails (from Application menu) success
-Run the test tool in Enterprise Manager 11g
-Response looks according to book, using Launch Flow Trace button I see ManualPOApproval is in running state, as expected.
-Run Oracl BPM Worklist, log in according to book (weblogic)
-I can see the Approve Order line under the My Tasks tab
When I select the Approve Order line item, according to book I should see Approve Order Contents in the lower pane.
But the details never populate the pane and I see "Waiting for..." in Explorer status bar.

Resolved by disabling pop-up blocking in IE8.

Problem with classes generated with .classgen

When I run the sample app from the "Using XML in Oracle Database Applications, Part 2" that generates classes, the syntax is:
java SampleMain -root MYMAIN myfile.dtd
All the elements in myfile.dtd get a class built for them, but they also reference MYMAIN as a class. That is, things like:
public MYMAIN getDocument()
return (MYMAIN)super.getCGDocument();
I would have expected that classgen would have made a class called MYMAIN, but it did not. I'm very confused. Please help.
