Problems with CC are REALLY getting old.

I spend a great deal of my day trying to get Adobe CC to work like it should.  Right now I have a spinning beach ball on the Desktop app and the AAM never seems to work. It just sits there in the DOCK bouncing it's little self to death...
I CONSTANTLY have to change the OOBE file so I can RE-DOWNLOAD and RE-INSTALL.  After I do that, about a day later I have to do it all over again.  I can't tell you how many times I've run permissions repair and various other time consuming things trying to get this stuff to work.  And by the way, were are a three bay editorial shop and all three bays have problems with ADOBE CC programs.
Come on guys.  I use this software professionally and have NEVER had so many problems with a program.  Yesterday AE, PP and Photoshop ALL said they were needing to be reinstalled!  I spend at least half a day just trying to get this CC stuff to work. 
Seriously it is flawed and not ready to be released to the professional community.  We need these programs to work - day in, day out.  We don't need to be contantly "Upgrading" "Re-installing" Re-downloading" and changing numerous files to "OLD" to get your stuff to work.
And the on-line staff in India is really a joke.  I've not had them EVER solve a problem!  The only solutions are from other users that have found work arounds.  (Still have the spinning beach ball on the CC Desktop app....)  How many other programs require you to constantly open Activity Monitor and KILL them there because they won't even Force Quit?  I suspect ONLY ADOBE CC programs.
Please:  GET IT FIXED!
(yeah, that spinng beach ball is still there..)

I got it fixed by a round about way.  Another user wrote a script that allows you to kill all the running programs and clean up so you can do the new install.  You can do a google search for:  Adobe CC Updater Fix 2.workflow

    If this is a fairly new Mac running either v10.7 Lion or v10.8 Mountain Lion she can use Lion or Mountain Recovery to repair the startup disk or reinstall OS X.

  • Problem with depreciation area (Incorrect currency exchange rate is used)

    Good day to all SDN forumers!
    I'm having a problem with one depreciation area that we set up. The reason why we configured this depreciation area is for us to enable to monitor all asset postings in another (group) currency aside from the local currency. We set it up in such a way that the depreciation would not post and would thus only "convert" the asset postings to group currency using the table rates in table TCURR (via OB08).
    The problem is despite having defined an exchange rate for the current period, the system still picks up the exchange rate for 01/01/2001 which is incorrect. This affected all reports which displays incorrect values whenever I view the postings using the 2nd depreciation area we set up. Is there a way we can correct this?
    I'd really appreciate your comments and suggestions guys. Thanks a lot and more power!

    Update:
    I created a new depreciation area by copying an existing area and updated some of the configuration. The problem is still there though, since the depreciation area still reflects the <b>incorrect</b> rate (similar to that of the previous depreciation area) whenever I access it using Asset Explorer. What's surprising is that even though I've already set the exchange rate (e.g. USD to EUR)  to match that of the asset's capitalization / acquisition date, the posted values still do not reflect what I defined in table TCURR. Instead, it reflects the exchange rate used by the old depreciation area. Help anyone? We are already in a production client and transfer/retirement of all the assets is not an option the client would like to undertake.

  • Several Problems with MBP - How to get it serviced in UK?

    Hi,
    I bought my Macbook Pro in April. I didn't get the extra 3 year Apple Care as I didn't think it was worth it.
    When the MPB arrived, my first issue was noticeable instantly. In the top left hand corner of the screen, there are several pixels that seem to flicker. Now, with them being in the very top corner (right on the edge) I decided to ignore them. Also I was hooking the computer up to an external display and would use it with that pretty much all the time so It wasnt a biggie.
    Just outside my 3 month complimentary Apple Care, a problem with what sounds like one of the fans arose. When the CPU was under load and the fans sped up, a rather irritating noise was coming from the computer. The noise sounds like one of the fans is catching something, and it produces a noise that resembles a hedge strimmer or some other garden tool. The noise gets louder as the fans speed up. Its very irritating and is not a normal operation sound - and i fear that the fan will eventually fail completely and then i'll have problems.
    My third issue is the whine - which I understand Apple are solving by replacing the Logic Boards on affected systems?
    So - about a month ago I contacted Apple support. The guy I spoke to was obviously from India and spoke bad English. I explained my issues - and he gave me three options to solve the problems.
    1. Lay out £279 for Apple Care
    2. Pay £35 for Telephone Support
    3. Take it to an Apple Store to get looked at.
    The first option is a no go. I refuse to pay that amount of money. The second option, what use is that to me? He would take me through telephone support troubleshooting and come to the conclusion that what I told him is right and that they are all hardware faults. Third option, the Nearest Apple Store to me is 40miles away. Over an hours drive. I would need to take it in there, then leave it, and go back and collect it. This really is a pain in the *** because I do not drive and I work Monday-Friday 8-5.
    Now, is there no way that I can just get Apple to send me a container to send my MBP back to them in the mail and then them to send it back? I cannot believe that this is not the case.
    I am in the UK by the way.

    apple is supposed to be able to deliver boxes to be sent to the repair depot i believe, i doubt the UK is left in the dark on this issue. any problems you have with your MBP should never be ignored, since its likely they could get much much worse. regardless of whether or not your phone support is expired, your warranty is still valid, and you can arrange a pickup if you feel travelling all the way to your nearest apple dealer is too inconvenient. they cant refuse pick up service, because thats one of the things promised to you by apple.
    one thing to note, in the time it takes for apple to repair your unit, they extend the warranty by that much time. i checked in the warranty booklet that came with my computer.

  • Problem with Stacked area chart

    Hi all,
    I'm working on delivery data according to month having input(combo) as the year. I'm trying to display the data in percentages in Stacked area chart having series as ontime delivery, 1 week late, 2 weeks late,........5 weeks late and category labels as months. The problem is when I take the Preview of data I get to see the data for ontime, 1 week , 2 week as it should be but when I hover the mouse over the 2 weeks data area  mouse over values shows 5 weeks data(0 %) where as in reality the colored area belongs to 2 weeks data. I tried to delete 5 weeks series data and now it shows as 4 weeks data.
    What could be the problem ?

    we are experiencing some problems with our <b>workbooks</b> after the upgrade to BW 3.5. When refreshing all queries in a workbook (that was there before 3.5) without selecting a specific query we get the message <b>'Result area</b> cannot be found, specify a new one'. After selecting, the message appears again in an infinite loop.
    Has anybody had similar problems and has found a solution for this?

    Hi,
    I am having that message, always if I delete a Sheet which contains an embeded query.
    Even the sheet is deleted, the SAPBEX has information of all the embeded queries, and tries to find the Result area to put the data.
    To find out if this is your case as well,
    select an empty cell in a Sheet and continue like that, until all the embeded queries are been displayed.

    I have been buying CL sound for 6 years Both for me and for my costumers and?lately I have problems with them The driver do not work and if the do it is glitches and problem calling the CL for help IS USELESS We Got some run around!! I will here by tell you all, My company and myself will stop buying and promoting all CL cards!! I will go to others for sound card from now on. I'm really upset of the attitude that CL have started.
    Is there other that feel the same?
    I have been a great supporter of CL and it was THE ONLY CARD I DID RECOMMEND, but not longer.

    Well again the CL show their color NO ONE even barter to answer so I take they don't give a crap...well I guess that $5000-7500 they don't care? but I will spread the work CL=No buy!!
    The CL must have got a new board that think "that costumer service are crap and we don't care"...well, after all this time, they have got the money out of me, I guess. So why barter with Small Businesses the are not important... Well SM is the backbone of the economy.

  • Problem with Hard Disk after getting a replacement for a RAM Problem

    Ok, so I bought a 17" Macbook pro about a week ago from Apple, then last night it crashed during some relatively processor intensive work and wouldn't boot again. I took it in to the apple store today, they ran diagnositics and it turned out it was a RAM issue, so, very kindly, they gave me a whole new machine with new RAM.
    I didn't have time to wait in store for them to transfer my data, so the genius offered to give me the hard disk from my old machine so i could take it away and do the transfer myself (because i live in a different city) using a USB Hard Disk Caddy. I took him up on the offer, and bought the whole lot home with me.
    I've just put the drive in an appropriate hard disk caddy and attached it to my machine, but I'm getting an error "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer".
    Allegedly the genius chap had already started the transfer when i asked him to leave it for me to do, so i guess he mustn't have had any problems with accessing it, but there's no trace on the new machine that he had been doing anything.
    I guess my question is
    A) is the disk screwed
    and
    B) Did it happen from the initial problem, in the apple store or is it another issue?

    This could be caused by a number of different reasons. Is it possible for you to call up Apple and speak with the person whom was helping you?

  • Problems with 2 transaction data getting intermixed !!!

    i am using weblogic in my project both as a webserver and as the application server.
    But i am facing problems with requests being sent to the server. Basically i have
    a form in my jsp which, if submitted by multiple clients at the same instant in
    time, the server gets confused and mixes up the data in the requests !! the form
    is submitted to another jsp which in turn calls a SLSB which in turn calls various
    entity Beans to fulfill the request.
    Now if 2 or more clients hit the submit button together, the server is mixing
    the data from the requestsand i get corrupted output as a result.
    That if i submit values (a,b,c) from one client machine and values (x,y,z) from
    another machine, the server puts one of the transactions properly and in the other
    it picks up the data from the other request and takes something like (x,y,c) !!
    Is this a bug in Weblogic 6.1 or am doing something wrong ??
    Any help would be appreciated. Anyone faced something similar ?

    Questions:
    Should I create a custom login page or use the default (that using my custom Authentication Scheme)?
    In the white paper where it's described on how to create the application process (that reads the cookie) it says (page 5):
    "This process should be conditional and should not be run if the login page is processing a logout request."
    Does somebody know on how to achive this?
    In my case my eBS is on one server and the APEX installation is on another server, I don't know if that's
    what preventing it to work.
    I'm trying to make a very simple proof of conecpt, my app only contain one login page (the default) and
