Problems with CK-100 in 2003 Chrysler Grand Voyage...
I just installed a CK-100 in my 2003 Chrysler Grand Voyager using a ISO adapter cable from KRAM. The installation of the cables was easy. I used the configuration in which the CK-100 uses the car speakers and both phone and music from the phone are switched via the CK-100.
On testing the CK-100 I ecountered the following problems:
1. when using the phone (Nokia 5800), the front speakers are used for the phone and work OK, but the rear speakers make a "static" noise which is quite irritating.
2. when the phone is not in use my right rear speaker makes a soft clicking noise (approx. a click per second) which is irritating. This speaker also stopped transmitting musice from my car radio.
3. When audio is played from my phone it uses the front speakers and everything is OK. In this situation I have to use the volume control of my Nokia 5800, the nav wheel does not work in this mode. Is this normal?

It seems you know a bit about this car kit and so i thought i would try and get some help from you. I am an installer and I have installed the nokia CK-100 Bluetooth car kit into three vehicles. In one I used my LG phone to test the kit with once the install was complete. When I connected it, it would disconnect straight away. When I tried the customers Nokia it worked fine. In a second vehicle, the customer has returned saying his is doing the same thing after two weeks of functioning normally. He has a Nokia and once you turn on the ignition it says "connecting" then a second later says "connected" before it can finish saying that word it says "disconnected" and then stays disconnected till we try initiating connection again. This happens with my phone as well. I can't get the unit to function properly. I tried CLEARING THE PAIRING LIST as per the instruction kit, but even with the car off and holding the button for 5 seconds the unit tries to connect the same as before.
Any help would be good.

Abobe v8: Problems with converting from word 2003 to PDF
I use one of those free conversion tools, since i am a student. My problem is that i have a word document with a unique page margin. When i convert from word 2003 to pdf everything gets converted except the page margin which is much bigger then it's supposed to be. Do anyone know how i can fix that?, any help are appriciated.

Hum problem with DDTS-100 with Klipsch Promedia 5.1
I have a problem with me decoder DDTS-100 since the beginning. I use it with Promedia 5.1 Klipsch kit.
When I use digital sources either optical or coax, when my decoder does'nt receive any signal from my DVD or X-box, I am earing a big hum coming out from my speakers. And then when my DDTS-100 receive a digital signal the hum disapeer.
I am not earing the hum when I use the analog input.
I am very disapointed about this bug because when the volume is high I am worried about my Klipsch kit.

The buzz came out from my coax cable from my DVD. My DVD player was probably inducing 60Hz on the coax output.
I switched to the optical output and no more buzz.
I'll need to buy a new toslink cable to plug my x-box on the optical input #2
Also I pluged my TV audio out in my st analog input, it also induced a 60 Hz on my DDTS-100. The decoder does not seem to filter out electric noises.
I'm pretty happy to have found out my problem but I'm very dispointed that the DDTS-100 does not filter any electric noises.

Printing Problem with Pro-100 and Photoshop
This is my setup: using Mac Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) & editing & printing from Photoshop CS 6. I have new Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer and set it up OK. First thing printed was a page from a document from MS Word on 8.5X11 plain paper - this came out OK. Next I fire up Photoshop and open a 4X6 inch image (just a snapshot in jpeg, landscape format) to do a test print. I set it up in the print dialog as 4X6 paper, Canon's Pro Glossy paper profile, rear tray, standard print quality, Photoshop manages the color. I load the paper in the rear tray close the covers and hit print.
Now, when it starts to print the printer moves about 3.8 inches of paper out of the printer and it starts printing on the remaining 2.2 inches then spits the paper out. It does this in Photoshop (any image, it doesn't matter), and it does it printing from Nikon’s Capture NX. I have been able to get it to print on the paper correctly using Apple's Preview program but that that's not going to do me any good. I was on the phone with Canon tech support for about 2 hours and they were completely puzzled suggesting I would have to use Canon's printing apps instead to print - that doesn't do me any good either. I want to be able to print from Photoshop. I have the most recent Canon driver, and Photoshop is up to date. Any one every heard of this or experienced the same problem? Have you tried printing using the Print Studio Pro plugin for Photoshop? If this is not install, it is available for download from Canon's web site. To download and install Print Studio Pro, please follow these steps:
1. Visit Canon's website at: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer
2. Type PIXMA PRO-100 in the "Enter Your Model Name" box and click GO.
3. On the Support page for your unit, click the 'Drivers & Software' link in the middle of the page.
4. Click Software.
5. Click on Print Studio Pro.
6. If you agree, please select the checkbox next to "I have read and agree to the terms of the Disclaimer and wish to continue with the download".
7. Click on the Download button.
8. The file will be downloaded to your Downloads folder.
9. Once the download is complete, close all windows.
10. Double click [mpsp-mac-1_3_5-ea9_2.dmg] in your Downloads folder. Files will extract.
Follow the prompts and installation will complete.
Once installed, please open your image in Photoshop and print it using the Print Studio Pro plugin.

Centre channel problem with DDTS-100
I have a set of Gigaworks s750 speakers connected to my PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 via the DDTS-100 decoder; up until yesterday this was all working fine. Having moved some of the gear around to accomodate my new desk, I plugged everything back in and found that the sound from the front centre channel is muffled and/or quieter than the other channels.
The speakers themselves don't seem to be the problem as the PC (which is connected via the switch box included with the decoder) sounds fine but the problem persists with both the PS3 and X360.
My first thought was that I'd pulled one of the cables loose while rearranging the furniture but I've re-plugged everything in several times since with no joy. I've also tried changing the spdif cables and switching the sockets around, as well as removing the switch box and plugging the speakers directly into the decoder but nothing made any difference.
Has anyone ever encountered anything like this before and/or could offer any suggestions?

It doesn't have to be incompetence or malevolence. As was stated before, the company didn't get to the position they did in the market by scamming people. Just as much, there isn't enough information to determine that it was "inept execution." Consider: two thousand people out of the 93+ million customers use the promotion and out of that group, one hundred have a problem. This equates to 5% of the partakers, which would hardly mean anything inept. The question, though, would inevitably be "how did I come up with the numbers to show that it is not 'inept execution'?" That is my point. Now, to my question.
I often have to work with Word documents (from 10 to 100 or so pages) that have been created using Word 2003 for Windows. In these docs, track changes is turned on.
When I open them with Word 2008 for Mac (in compatibility mode) everything works okay. I can edit and changes are tracked (with bubbles at the side and all).
However, when I copy the doc back on the server (samba share) and open the doc again with Word 2003 on a Windows machine, the docs are often (though not always) messed up. To be precise, all the tables are split up in such a way, that each row of a table appears on it's own page. All the content is there, but the tables are spread over multiple pages.
I have all the Mac and Word updates installed and also installed the Windows fonts.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Any ideas what could be causing this?

My only thoughts would be to try NeoOffice or OpenOffice, both of which are extremely MS Office compatible, and work on Leopard. They also have PC versions as well.
MS Office on Macs has never been a really good fit, and as you are aware, support from MS is poor to nonexistent. -
P35 Neo-fi Problem with ATA/100 HDD
Hi bought a new systems a few days ago and I cant get the harddrive to work properly.
When trying to install either linux or windows no HDD can be found. But my bios detects the drive
right after the biosgraphicscreen.

So the problem is that I cant install any OS since the HDD cant be found by OS.

sjosidan, which drivers did you try to integrate at the beginning of Windows Setup (F6+Floppy). If you have a P35 Neo - board (MS-7360 PCB v1.0) there is no need to integrate any drivers during setup. In this sense, every driver you try to integrate is the wrong driver.
I know you said, that the problem is the same with Windows XP and Linux. However, let's focus on Windows XP for now when it comes to OS Installation.
Does the XP Install-CD you are using include Service Pack 2?
Which BIOS-Version are you currently using? (It should be displayed on the POST Screen (A7360IMS v1.??))

I dont have a sp2 disc Ive read some similar posts on the forum and I think it will work with the sp2 disc.
During my reading on this forum I've come to the conclusion that in order to install a linux system supporting IDE I first have to install Xp sp2 and then flash bios. Before installing a linux dist. Is this correct?
I ordered a new SATA disc yesterday it arrives tomorrow so then I won't have a problem, I'll be using the IDE disc in my server instead. -
Sync Problem with 4.7 & Outlook 2003 Calendar
I have found that I get an error whenever I try to synchronize my Calendar after I have added a meeting with the work "Gyro" in the subject. I have a filter now to eliminate those calendar items, but I would like to report this to RIM. Anyone know how I can report this problem without subscribing to service?

Problems with Active Directory and Windows 2003

I'm using Mac OS X Server 10.4.9 with Active Directory bound to a Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain. I can bind successfully to the domain using the graphical interface. Then in Samba I can access shared directories using Windows users. However, after some time somehow there are problems and Windows users aren't authenticated anymore on the Mac. I've looked at the firewall and there are no denied packets from the Mac. There are two servers in the domain, all clocks are synchronized and domain information is up to date. When I unbind the Mac, I can see the machine account being deleted on both domain servers and created too on both machines when I bind to the domain.
Problems occur when I try login in using ssh or samba do I think this is a problem with the AD module.
I turned on debugging messages on DirectoryServices:
sudo killall -USR1 DirectoryService
When in Windows, using the Administrator user I try:
net use \\10.0.0.1 /user:domain\Administrator
Where 10.0.0.1 is the Mac.
In the Mac I get from

I really don't know what to do. The Windows Event log shows no messages. The link used to work and there have been no changes in the domain servers.

I tried the net use with a drive letter with and without the /user switch. When I use a domain user domain\user1 I can't connect. When I use a user local to the XServe it works.
When I use
net use x: \\10.0.0.1\share /user:domain\user1
I get prompted for a password, but it doesn't work.
I checked the firewall and all packets to or from the mac are accepted, no denied or dropped packages.
I already went through the MS document on fw ports. Before I opened to Kerberos ports the binding failed. No the binding work OK.
Some users who were authenticated yesterday still can access files using the Windows domain accounts. It's new users trying to connect those who have problems.

Dear all,
I am facing the problem with Grand total field in Report footer.Please advise me how should we resolve it.
My report design as follows
Report Title
Page Header section:
charged date fee_ description charge_ amount currency_code
Group Header #1(Group by bank_ref)
Group Header #2(Group by Currency code)
Details
charged date fee_ description charge_ amount currency_code
Group Footer#2
(Sub Total )
Running Total field(Fields to Summarize on Charge_amount, Evaluate on "Group2# change of currency code) ,Sum of Charge_amount,Currency_ code
Report footer:
Sum of (charge_amount) currecy code
Example of data:
charged date fee desc chrage amount currencycode

CAD
10-Oct-2007 Transfer 200 Cad
11-Oct-2007 comm 150 cad
Sub total 350 Cad

Grand total should 350 CAD but it is showing all total amoun 1000 CAD ,Group by Curreny code in the table
250 USD but it is showing all total amount 1200 USD
Please provide the solutions like:
1).About Running total in Report footer section
2).Formula on While printing records for grand total
3).How will send links with subreports

Wireless printing problem with hp officejet 100 mobile printer from win 7 dell laptop
My hp officejet 100 mobile printer was working fine with my dell XPS 15 in bluetooth wirelessly until my laptop crashed. Now I can not get it to print internet info except with hard wire connection. Page loads half way and then stops. Must shut down laptop and shut off printer or hard wire and shut off bluetooth. down loaded lastest drivers to no avail. printer will print from cell phone and win 8 computer via bluetooth but not win 7 laptop.
Sorry you are having problems with printing from the internet. I have a few more questions to ask you before I can be of much assistance.
What web-browser are you using?
Do you have any problems printing from Word or other non-internet documents?
What did you do to fix your computer (system restore, clean install of the OS, etc)?
Have you tried an alternate web-browser?
Make sure to install all of your Microsoft updates to see if that helps. Otherwise, answer those questions for me please and I will be happy to help.

Problem With 100% Down Payment A/R Invoice
Hi All,
I am facing a problem while creating a 100% A/R Down Payment Invoice.
Let me describe the steps that I have followed-
1. Initially Customer C1 has :
Account Balance=0, Deliveries=0, Orders=0. It's a new customer.
2. I am adding a Sales Order for this Customer.Details-
Total Amount Before Discount=9000, Tax=360, Total=9360
3. Creating one A/R Down Payment Invoice for this customer and this Sales Order with -
DPM=100%, Applied Amount=9360
4. After that I am creating Incoming Payment of that Down Payment.
Payment Means = By Credit Card. Amount=9360
5. I create a Delivery document based on the Sales Order.
Now Customer details is:
Account Balance=0, Deliveries=9360, Orders=0.
6. I create A/R Invoice based on the Delivery and face the problem. Invoice Details:
Total Amount Before Discount=9000,Total Down Payment=9000,
Tax=360, Total=360, Balance Due=360
Now Customer details is:
Account Balance=360, Deliveries=0, Orders=0.
My expected Result is in Invoice, Total Down Payment should be 9360(which is 9000, ie excluding Tax)
and Balance Due should be 0 (which is 360 now).
I expect all balances of customer should be 0 after step-6.
Am I doing anything wrong or jumping any step or is it a bug?
When I am doing down payment of 50% I am getting the expected result.Hi Sibasish Sengupta
When doing A/R invoice automatically sap shows the down payment value and u should not add the document, if u add like this, what u have told it will happen like that only that is ur tax value will be cary forward.
To avoid this click in down payment check box and give ok or select that A/R down p[ayment then u check it its works fine. Ur A/R invoice will be a Zero value.
I have tested as per ur scenerio its works fine .

some audio problem with NHL 2003...Have you tried the following?
Adjust monitor settings? i.e. contrast/brightness
Video settings within the game? Some have gamma or brightness settings.
Gamma correction in "Display Properties"?
